Even better than the photos! A special experience with the peace and privacy of an entire home, plus a chef-prepared breakfast.
My partner and I stayed for one night. In short, it was far better than it looks in the photos. The first surprise was the wood-fired sauna. It’s truly authentic and rare to find in Japan—the crackling of the firewood and the gentle heat feel completely different. Even if you’re not used to saunas, I think you’ll naturally find the atmosphere here simply “so relaxing.” Paired with the pool, we lost track of time and fully unwound. One thing I was slightly concerned about before making a Reservation was the bed. In photos it looks a bit firm, but in reality it’s a solid, high-quality mattress and very comfortable. This is an area where the place doesn’t do itself justice in pictures. In the morning, you can have a chef come to prepare breakfast on-site—an experience you don’t often get. Having freshly made dishes prepared right in front of you is a luxury you won’t find at an ordinary Hotel. That alone makes it worth staying here. Some people might worry that the location is “too remote,” but it’s actually very convenient—about 10 minutes by car from the airport. Even with just one night and two days, you can enjoy everything 충분に (enough). With no one around, all you hear are natural sounds. At night it’s unbelievably quiet, and when you look up, a sky full of stars spreads out above you. The open feeling surrounded by greenery completely separated us from everyday noise. Another underrated perk is that checkout is as late as 3:00 PM. On our last day we could enjoy the pool and sauna again from morning and take our time right up until we left. Not being rushed by checkout time makes a huge difference in overall satisfaction. It’s a private rental villa with no staff around—for better or worse—but that’s exactly why we could focus on our time together without interruptions. It’s definitely somewhere I’d like to visit again for a Multiple Night Stay.

An Accommodation worth the price.
We stayed as a couple on a breakfast-included Plan. We’ve tried several Hotels and villas on Miyakojima, and this Accommodation felt especially unique. What we liked 1) You truly don’t see anyone This was the most memorable part. From check-in to check-out, we didn’t run into other guests at all, and we didn’t see any staff either except the chef. At a Hotel you inevitably notice other people in the lobby, breakfast area, pool, etc., but here there was none of that. Being able to spend our time entirely at our own pace was very comfortable. 2) Excellent breakfast This time we booked the breakfast-included Plan. The chef comes to the villa and cooks for you, so there’s no need to go anywhere, which was convenient. The food was delicious, and we could enjoy a relaxed meal in the morning. Not having to get ready or watch the clock to make it to a breakfast venue fits this Accommodation perfectly. 3) A luxurious use of space Pool, sauna, jacuzzi, living room, terrace—everywhere is yours alone. Rather than “luxurious Facilities,” it felt luxurious because “only the two of us can use this entire space.” More than sightseeing, what stayed with us most was simply spending time at the villa. Things to note 1) One night feels a bit too short If sightseeing is your main focus, you may want to keep this in mind. We did go out for a while too, but when we came back we wished we had spent more time relaxing at the villa. This place feels less like a base for exploring and more like an Accommodation where staying in is part of the experience. Next time we would choose a Multiple Night Stay. 2) The pool lighting at night was slightly hard to figure out When we tried using the pool at night, we couldn’t find the light switch at first. Later we realized that one of the buttons near the jacuzzi controls the pool lights. A little more guidance would be helpful.

It was the most memorable meal I had on Miyakojima.
The Facility, amenities, and cleanliness were outstanding as expected, but what especially impressed me this time was the food. We had dinner at a partner restaurant, and it was far beyond a simple set course for guests—each dish was carefully crafted, and the overall satisfaction level was extremely high. It was one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in Miyakojima. The delivered breakfast the next morning also exceeded my expectations. Being able to relax in the villa, enjoy the view, and savor freshly prepared dishes felt truly luxurious. I’d love to return just for the food.

A villa offering the ultimate luxury experience on Miyakojima
This villa offered the most luxurious stay of any Accommodation I’ve stayed at on Miyakojima. I will definitely return again.

After visiting Miyak...
After visiting Miyakojima for 20 years, I’ll be honest—no matter where you are on the island, you can usually see the ocean, so lately I’ve been looking for value beyond just an ocean view. This place truly stood out for its refined use of space. Everything unnecessary has been stripped away, yet everything you need is thoughtfully provided, so I never felt inconvenienced during my stay. It also offers excellent privacy while still being conveniently accessible from the airport (I mainly go via San-A), which made it especially comfortable. Many villas on Miyakojima are quiet but located deep in remote areas, or so close to nature that insects can be an issue—but this place strikes the perfect balance. *That said, I’ve already accepted that “zero bugs” isn’t realistic in Miyako. Spending time around the terrace was the best part. See you again next year.

It completely exceeded my expectations.
The first thing I thought upon arrival was that this atmosphere doesn’t come through in photos. Many villas on Miyakojima lean heavily into a tropical vibe, but this place feels more urban and refined—more for adults. Rather than trying to create an over-the-top “escape,” the space itself has a quiet elegance. What I appreciated most was that I felt zero unnecessary stress during my stay. Whether indoors or out on the terrace, it was calming everywhere. I spent my days by the pool and my evenings moving between the jacuzzi and the sauna at a very relaxed pace. It was my first time using a wood-burning sauna, which made it feel especially unique. More than a base for sightseeing, it’s the kind of villa you stay at to simply enjoy being in this space.

The chef’s cuisine was outstanding.
The Facility itself was flawless, but what exceeded my expectations even more was the dining experience. It may have been the first time in Miyakojima that I’ve had a meal this satisfying. What stood out most was the visiting chef at breakfast. Using local Miyakojima ingredients, each dish was carefully finished on the spot and truly delicious—it felt like an indulgent morning. The Miyakojima honey in particular left a strong impression: it had a gentle floral aroma that lingered, completely different from any honey I’d had before. It was my first time having an experience like this, so it really stayed with me. Even though it was breakfast, it was structured like a full course you could enjoy one plate at a time, and I found myself thinking, “They go this far for breakfast?” Being able to take my time eating while looking out at the terrace, then move straight on to relaxing by the pool or in the jacuzzi afterward, was also perfect. The dinner course was also very high quality and paired wonderfully with drinks.

Recommended for families traveling with children!
Because our older child is very active and our younger one is still on baby food, we’ve almost exclusively chosen villas for travel since having kids. This time we stayed with a 0-year-old and a 2-year-old, and it was truly comfortable. First of all, the whole villa felt spacious, and because we didn’t have to worry about other guests or staff, it was far less tiring than a typical Hotel. The kids played in the pool and jacuzzi the entire stay and looked like they were having an amazing time. The jacuzzi in particular was easy even for small children to use, which helped a lot. (The pool is deep, so rash guards or floaties are essential for children.) Also, there were goats about a 10-second walk from the villa. When we asked the owner, they said we could freely feed them the grass provided, so our older child was completely absorbed in feeding them. It ended up feeling like a free activity, which we really appreciated as parents (lol). The location is excellent—Ingya Marine Garden and Shigira Beach are nearby—so getting to the sea was very convenient. That said, the villa itself was so comfortable (and between the pool, goats, and beach) that our kids were exhausted each day, so this time we didn’t pack in much dining out or sightseeing. We also chose a Plan with dinner included, and that was absolutely the right choice. The course meal at the nearby restaurant was delicious, and it had an atmosphere where even families with children could enjoy dinner at a relaxed pace. We also got to enjoy ingredients unique to Miyakojima—it really felt like being on vacation. For breakfast we ate groceries from the supermarket. The kitchen facilities and cooking utensils were very well equipped, so we had no trouble at all. We could easily prepare baby food for our younger child too—overall it’s a very user-friendly villa from a family perspective. One note: since this is positioned as a luxury villa rather than specifically baby-friendly Accommodation , you’ll need to bring essentials like diapers and wipes. Unusually for a villa though, pajamas were provided. It became one of our family’s best memories. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for a special anniversary, and it exceeded our expectations.
This was an Accommodation on Miyakojima that made me want to come back for the first time in a while. The welcome drinks and champagne didn’t feel like generic offerings left out “just because”; they seemed carefully selected with real attention to quality. Breakfast was delicious, too. The best part was the luxurious private space and the wood-fired sauna—absolutely outstanding. I’m rating it a bit strictly, with high expectations for next time.

It was exceptional.
This is the first villa in Miyakojima that truly caters exclusively to affluent guests. I loved not having to meet staff, not being required to dine in a large communal setting, and the wood-burning sauna stove. Throughout the property, I felt a refreshing confidence—designed for those who appreciate it, and no need to appeal to everyone.

The villa exceeded our expectations—far better than the photos.
I’ve stayed at various villas on Miyakojima, and this was a highly satisfying stay. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was the outstanding design throughout the entire space. Not only the building itself, but also the art and furniture placement were thoughtfully curated, making it comfortable to spend time here from start to finish. These days, many villas highlight ocean views, but this one offers a gajumaru (banyan tree) view. Personally, I’m tired of villas that rely solely on an ocean view while the interior feels like an ordinary house, so it was wonderful to feel the strong commitment to the quality of the space itself. It also felt rare to find an Accommodation like this on Miyakojima. Every angle looked great, and the atmosphere in person was far better than in photos. Judging by price alone, it may seem upscale, but once you stay here, you can truly feel that it’s worth the price. In fact, it made the difference from more budget-focused villas very clear. I’d love to stay again when I visit Miyakojima. Thank you very much.

It felt like one of the top villas in Miyakojima.
I’ve stayed at a range of high-end villas in Miyakojima as well as overseas resorts, but this place was something entirely different from a typical “luxury Hotel.” First of all, this villa is not somewhere you go to receive service. It’s an Accommodation designed for you to fully occupy the space—just for yourselves. There’s none of that large-resort feeling: passing other guests, worrying about who’s around by the pool, or sharing a lounge. In fact, it doesn’t share—because it’s meant to be exclusive. With a 500 m² property, pool, wood-fired sauna, jacuzzi, and terrace, you truly feel like you can own your time here. What impressed me most was the approach to privacy. It’s not simply “hard to see in”—the balance with openness feels meticulously calculated. There were hardly any moments during the stay that pulled me back into reality. These days more places call themselves “luxury villas,” but many still feel hotel-like—essentially an extension of shared spaces. This one feels closer to staying at your own private vacation home. The dining was also exceptionally well executed. For breakfast, a chef comes directly to the villa; dinner is a special course at a partner restaurant. Neither felt like an add-on—they were thoughtfully integrated into the overall experience. Despite being in this price range, I also appreciated not having to worry about small extra charges. By removing things like per-use fees for firewood or Facilities—elements that bring you back to reality—the immersion never breaks. And personally, I loved that the complimentary champagne was Ruinart. I don’t think this is an Accommodation for packing in sightseeing. It feels more like coming to Miyakojima specifically to stay here. It’s certainly not inexpensive if you look only at the price—but I felt that by attracting only guests who understand this atmosphere, they’re able to preserve that quietness and quality.
