We were extremely satisfied with this Hotel!
It was my first time staying at a whole-building rental Hotel, and I was extremely satisfied! The Room was spacious, and every detail—from the furniture to the wallpaper design—was thoughtfully chosen, creating a truly wonderful space. They also provided amenities that are especially appreciated by women, such as Aesop cleansing products, toner, emulsion, contact lens cases, and more. I was grateful that the Hotel had almost everything needed for travel. After we arrived, the owner kindly gave us a thorough explanation of the facilities. They even prepared a letter and small gifts for us—I was genuinely touched by their hospitality and thoughtfulness. The location is also excellent for sightseeing in Kyoto. Many major attractions can be reached directly by train on a single line. Shichijo Station is the closest station, but it’s also within walking distance from Kyoto Station, which made it very convenient. I would love to stay here again when I visit Kyoto!

A very lovely detached house.
Conveniently located with easy access from both Kyoto Station and Shichijo Station. Set along the Takase River and newly built, the building is wonderful—when you step inside, you’re greeted by the fresh scent of new wood. On the first floor, there is a lounge area with a sofa, a twin bedroom, a toilet, a bathroom, and two sinks. The hinoki bath smelled lovely, and I was able to relax in the hot water while looking out at the trees in the courtyard. On the second floor, there is a kitchen and counter, a large dining table for six, and another spacious sofa for relaxing. Further inside are a tatami room, a double bedroom (with one double bed), plus another toilet and sink area—overall it felt very spacious and comfortable. It’s very quiet along the Takase River. Nearby there’s also a Lebanese restaurant serving breakfast; in the evening there are places like curry udon restaurants as well—everything we tried was delicious. On our first night we visited Tofuku-ji Temple near Shichijo Station; seeing the gardens and main hall illuminated was an unforgettable experience. If I have another chance, I’d definitely like to stay at this Accommodation again and explore Kyoto.

Refined Kyoto Living and Hospitality
I made a Reservation because I wanted to experience life in Kyoto in a traditional machiya townhouse renovated from a 100-year-old historic building. Another deciding factor was the great location—just a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station—making it easy to reach any sightseeing spot. After staying, I found it even more spacious than expected. It’s an Accommodation that preserves the charm of its century-old architecture while offering a functional, comfortable interior, and I was impressed by the balance of history and modern convenience. The access was, of course, very convenient, and the area around the Accommodation felt like a different world from crowded Kyoto—quiet and peaceful—which was an unexpected delight. Finally, the owner welcomed us personally and gave us welcome flowers and a letter; their hospitality made this stay truly memorable. They kindly shared recommendations for dinner and how to spend the evening, and even saw us off at check-out. Thank you for everything—we will definitely visit again.
