    I’d love to stay here again.

    It was an amazing Accommodation. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, and enjoyed the incredible sauna with a stunning view of Mt. Omuro right in front of us, as well as a BBQ by the fireplace.\nThe location was excellent, with Mt. Omuro, Jogasaki Coast, and a zoo nearby, making it a very satisfying three-day stay.\nAll the Facilities were well equipped, the Room was spacious, and there were two bedrooms.\nThe amenities were Hiire’s originals, and we could feel the attention to detail throughout.\nWe’d love to come again.

    Excellent service and facilities

    During my stay, I had a few issues such as forgetting something and ended up calling several times, but each time they responded very politely without showing any annoyance. I was also truly grateful that they offered to mail my lost item to me. They said over the phone, “Thank you for staying with us,” but it was such a wonderful villa that I wanted to say loudly, “Thank you as well.” The Facility was excellent, and above all, the staff were warm and welcoming, allowing me to enjoy my stay comfortably until the very end. This is a villa I would definitely love to stay at again.

    The atmosphere of the space was wonderful, and the irori hearth and sauna felt truly special—an even better stay than expected. The architecture and interior design showed great attention to detail, allowing us to forget everyday life and relax at a leisurely pace. Every meal was genuinely delicious, and we were completely satisfied. That said, one night didn’t feel like quite enough time. An earlier check-in or a two-night stay would make it easier to fully enjoy everything at a more relaxed pace. Also, having makeup remover among the amenities would be even more convenient. Overall, the space, experiences, and meals were all outstanding—an Accommodation we would definitely love to stay at again!

    The Ultimate Relaxation Experience

    Overall The overall atmosphere of the Accommodation, along with the building and interior design, showed great attention to detail. It made for a wonderful experience and a truly relaxing stay. There are two Rooms: one with one double bed, and another with four single beds. Depending on your group setup, this layout may be a bit inconvenient (for example, it would be tough for three families). Dining It’s described as a “self auberge,” but simply put, it feels like an indoor BBQ. With a typical BBQ being outdoors, it’s affected by the weather and the person grilling often has to stand the whole time, which can be tiring. Being able to enjoy BBQ indoors while staying seated is surprisingly rare. It was great to relax with food and drinks, and since everything is indoors, cleanup afterward was easy as well. That said, the optional meal set is listed as serving 2–3 people, but the portions felt a bit small—if your group eats well, it’s better to bring extra ingredients. Amenities In addition to shampoo and other bath items, there were basic skincare products as well—impressive for a Vacation Rental and much appreciated. There are also two hair dryers, so there was no stressful waiting turn when staying with multiple people. Service The self check-in & check-out system was very easy to use—the simplest and most stress-free self-service system I’ve experienced. Sauna We had an amazing time. The maximum temperature of 80°C was comfortable even for those who aren’t big sauna fans (including some of the women in our group). On the other hand, some of the men who love saunas worried that 80°C might not feel hot enough—but thanks to löyly/steam infusion, it heated up quickly and they were fully satisfied. Facility There are stylish items throughout that match the interior design and really lift your mood. However, there are quite a lot of appliances and supplies overall, which made it feel a bit cluttered. Some appliances seemed unnecessary anyway; as a result, counter workspace in the kitchen felt limited. We also found some BALMUDA appliances somewhat difficult to use, which was slightly frustrating. Some kitchen tools and even things like trash bins prioritized design over usability as well.

    Recommended for couples and groups alike.

    With its high ceilings, the space felt open and truly luxurious. Both the bath and sauna were spacious, allowing you to relax at your own pace. The sauna also offers self-service löyly, so it heats up properly—an authentic setup that even sauna enthusiasts will be satisfied with. It was also impressive how the concept was consistently carried through to the smallest details, from pajamas and cooking utensils to lighting, reflecting the owner’s careful attention. From the large windows, we enjoyed panoramic views of lush greenery and Mt. Omuro, which were soothing both in the morning and at sunset. For breakfast, we grilled dried fish ourselves; it felt special in a way that’s different from a Ryokan experience, and it was delicious. The space, Facility offerings, and views were all outstanding—an Accommodation we’d love to visit again in a different season.

    For an additional fee, we stayed with dinner featuring Izu seafood and domestically produced meat, and were able to enjoy a delicious meal at a relaxed pace around the in-room hearth. We could also fill a large bathtub with water connected to the Onsen, and there was a sauna on the balcony spacious enough for two people; adding the provided aroma made it especially pleasant, making this a Facility where you can truly unwind in a quiet setting.

    The BBQ in the Room exceeded our expectations.

    We stayed with four adults and two children. We’ve stayed at over 30 vacation rentals, and this was the most comfortable Accommodation by far. Being able to enjoy an indoor BBQ without worrying about odors or sunburn was even more fun than we expected, and it was great that it required almost no preparation. The local meat/snacks/fish provided were all delicious. We made two Reservations for six people, and the portions were just right—our kids were very happy too. While the kids were absorbed in anime on the projector, the adults could relax and enjoy the BBQ together, which felt like a unique experience you can only have at this Accommodation. It’s a wonderful location surrounded by nature, and despite our concerns, insects were hardly an issue—we had a comfortable stay from check-in to check-out. It seems there is also a separate building on the property, so we’re thinking of staying there in winter.

    Overall, it’s excellent!

    Six of us from the same company stayed here together, and we truly had an amazing time! The first thing that surprised us when we entered the Room was the view from the window. Through the large windows, we could see the magnificent Mt. Omuro, and it was genuinely moving. This time we didn’t add meals and instead bought ingredients at a supermarket. We grilled abalone, turban shells, meat, and vegetables over the irori hearth, enjoyed delicious wine and local craft beer, and had a wonderful, fun evening. The sauna was also fantastic! You can set the temperature freely. In most saunas you often can’t talk much, but here we could stay in longer while chatting with friends—this might have been the most refreshed I’ve ever felt. Overall, we were able to spend an elegant and enjoyable time. Next time, I’d love to stay at OLIVE or FUTO as well!

    It was a very nice accommodation.

    Not only the sauna and interior design, but even the smallest details were thoughtfully curated—it felt like staying in a model home. Our children enjoyed it too, and we had a wonderful time as a family. There was an issue with the Facility, but it was handled promptly and we were very satisfied.

    A luxurious private villa with views of Mt. Omuro—perfect for a relaxing stay for up to 5 guests.

    It had been a while since we stayed at a private rental villa. Hiire IZU OMURO suddenly appears just one street off a fairly busy road. Even though it’s in a typical resort villa area, the exterior instantly lifted our spirits—and our kids ran straight up to the entrance. Once inside, you pass the special first-floor bathroom with Onsen water and the bedrooms, and head up to the second floor where a striking dining set with a grill takes center stage. The ceilings are high, and through the windows you get breathtaking views of Mt. Omuro. The terrace is relaxing, there’s also a sauna, and everything adults want to enjoy is thoughtfully packed into one building—we were very satisfied with the Facility overall. The large in-Room projector and high-quality Bluetooth speaker were also excellent. We bought ingredients at a supermarket we stopped by on the way (Aoki is convenient but naturally pricey), but wine and sake can be purchased at reasonable prices from the wine cooler in the Room, which I’d recommend. I bought Iinuma Honke Junmai Ginjo—it was delicious. We made a Reservation for breakfast; I was genuinely impressed by how good JA’s orange juice was. When traveling as a family of five, options are limited—and even when you find something, it tends to be expensive—but Hiire offered great quality at a fair price, and we were very happy with our stay. We’d love to visit again if we have another chance.

    A quiet, luxurious escape

    OMURO was a wonderful Accommodation that made me think, the moment I arrived, “I want to relax here and take my time.” What impressed me first was the sense of openness created by the large windows. The living room is filled with natural light, and it feels seamlessly connected to the scenery outside—simply sitting there felt like a luxurious way to spend time. The surroundings are very quiet, offering a peaceful escape from everyday noise where you can truly unwind. Even without doing anything in particular, the calm atmosphere itself felt soothing and restorative. The sauna was also excellent, with adjustable temperature settings. It warmed me thoroughly without feeling overwhelming, making it so comfortable that I naturally wanted to stay in longer. It was one of the highlights that greatly enhanced my stay. I could also feel the care and taste of the team in every detail—from the furniture and decor to the lighting. It was enjoyable to look at each piece, and everything felt cohesive throughout, allowing me to enjoy the Accommodation itself as an experience. I highly recommend this Accommodation for anyone who wants to spend quiet, luxurious time away from it all.

    The Irori-style cuisine and sauna were outstanding—an extremely satisfying stay.

    We stayed on a meal-included Plan this time, and the food was truly delicious—we were completely satisfied! Cooking over the irori was totally different from using a regular frying pan, with a wonderful smoky aroma and exceptional flavor. Since it’s a style where you can cook for yourselves, it was great to enjoy everything at our own pace. Next time, we’d like to bring our own ingredients and try making original dishes. The sauna was also amazing! Going in during the morning, the mountain views were beautiful, and the fresh air felt wonderful—it was incredibly relaxing. We traveled with our 6-month-old baby as well, and thanks to the spacious sofa, our little one stayed happy throughout, so we could relax with peace of mind. It seems there are other buildings too, so next time we’d love to stay in one of those as well. It was a wonderful Accommodation that made us want to come back again!
