    The Shinshu miso hot pot is delicious.

    The self check-in email arrived after I had already gone out on the day, and since I couldn’t access my email while away, I had to call the staff directly to resolve it. It would be reassuring if the door access code could be sent by the day before.

    We rented a private ...

    We rented a private lakeside house in a very quiet setting and were able to relax at our own pace. The Room and amenities were refined, and it felt like a space too special for just one night. Everything was spotless, and we enjoyed our stay comfortably. One thing we wished for was meal catering. Because it’s such a peaceful location, there are no nearby shops (which is part of the appeal), so you need to drive about 20 minutes to a supermarket to buy groceries. If there were partner restaurants or catering options available for times when you don’t want to cook and simply want to unwind, it would be very helpful.

    A wonderful place where time slows down and you can feel the changing seasons.

    Three friends and I stayed here. Every Room was very clean, with a design that felt warm and wood-toned. The kitchen was fully equipped, so we cooked together while enjoying drinks and had a wonderful time. We could also see cherry blossoms perfectly framed through the window—they were beautiful. It was a lovely stay where we could feel the seasons, talk to our hearts’ content, and spend time at a relaxed pace. We would love to stay again!

    The peaceful Lake Aoki and the sauna experience were wonderful.

    The views of Lake Aoki were beautiful both in the morning and in the evening. In particular, the mornings were wonderfully relaxing—I loved taking my time while looking out at the lake through the large windows. After using the sauna, I carried a lounge chair down by the lake to cool off outside, and it felt amazing. With Lake Aoki stretching out right in front of me, I could have sat there forever. One small thing I noticed was the sauna door alignment: even after closing it, it slowly opens again. If that could be fixed, I think the stay would be even more comfortable. I visited just after cherry blossom season had ended, so I imagine it would be even more lovely when they’re in bloom. Next time, I’d love to stay during cherry blossom season.

    I will never forget the breathtaking view of Lake Aoki from the window.

    My daughter and son-in-law brought me here. Since we usually live far apart, I was able to spend a wonderful time with my grandchild. I will never forget the stunning view of Lake Aoki from the window.

    It was a wonderful trip for three families getting together again after a long time.

    A trip with three families: my brother and his wife, our parents, and us. Since we have three children, we chose a private whole-house rental where we could relax without worrying about others. It turned out to be a wonderful trip and we were very satisfied. It was about a 15-minute drive to the Hakuba ski resort, so the location was excellent. The nearby Onsen had great water as well. The view of Lake Aoki was beautiful, and it was fun to wake up early for a walk. We’d love to come back in a different season.

    A fun, relaxing trip where families with young children can unwind and enjoy themselves without worry!

    We stayed as a family with our 2-year-old son. For families with young children, this entire-home rental is truly recommended—you can relax and enjoy yourselves without worrying about disturbing others. Located right by Lake Aoki, it offers a great setting and beautiful views, and we loved being able to take in the scenery slowly from both the living Room and the bedrooms. The early morning mist is especially magical—if you can, wake up early to see it. It would be even better if there were a walkway leading directly to Lake Aoki in front of the property. The sunken seating area just below the main living Room creates an even more private feel, and having no clock or TV made it easy to enjoy a refreshing break from everyday life. Having a sauna in the living Room also felt wonderfully luxurious. The kitchen and vanity area are stylish as well, and we could tell care had been put into the tableware and amenities—we found ourselves wondering what brands they were. There are two bedrooms: one open-feeling Room with large windows connected to the first floor, and another that is more private, so you can choose based on your preference. The futon bedding and mattress firmness were just right, and we slept warmly and comfortably. Because you can enjoy Lake Aoki’s scenery through all four seasons, we’d love to come back to see fresh greenery, autumn leaves, or snowy landscapes as well. Check-in was unattended, but everything went smoothly.

    Enjoy a luxurious getaway in the best location

    From the moment we stepped through the entrance, we were captivated by the sense of openness and the panoramic lake view right in front of us. The lake looks different depending on the time of day and is truly beautiful at any time, and at night you can also enjoy a sky full of stars for a special experience. The sauna, which we were most looking forward to, allowed temperature adjustments, so we could unwind and relieve everyday fatigue just the way we like. We spent time at a nearby cafe before dinner, and it seems you can also enjoy activities such as cycling in warmer seasons—something we would love to try next time. All essential cooking utensils were provided, making our stay comfortable and convenient. It was a wonderful Accommodation where you can enjoy the luxury of doing nothing.

    An even more amazing location than you imagined—perfect for an unforgettable girls’ getaway.

    I stayed here with friends. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware and tableware, so we could relax and enjoy cooking. Making our favorite dishes and taking our time chatting together felt wonderful, and it became a memorable girls’ trip. Also, the view from the villa was truly amazing! The lake stretched out right in front of us, and the mountains felt close by—it was an even more special location than we imagined. Honestly, I didn’t expect the lake to be this close, so it was a pleasant surprise. Maybe because it’s such a peaceful place surrounded by nature, I slept very well at night and felt fully refreshed and recharged. My only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to take it slow. We still enjoyed even one night, but personally it felt a bit too short. Next time I’d like to stay for two nights or more and relax much more.

    A private rental Accommodation located on the shore of Lake Aoki.

    We stayed during the snowy season. Since the Accommodation has a kitchen with cooking utensils and tableware, we bought ingredients at a supermarket and cooked our own dinner. Both the spacious living room on the first floor and the bedroom on the second floor were relaxing, and we had a very comfortable stay. The sauna with löyly was even better than expected. Next time, we’d like to visit in warmer weather and try an outdoor barbecue.

    The breathtaking view of Lake Aoki from the window makes for the perfect holiday for three generations and three families.

    We stayed in two buildings with three generations of our family. There were 10 of us including a Child Sharing Existing Bedding, but the spacious living room was a wonderful private space where we could relax together while looking out over Lake Aoki right in front of us. There is also a kitchen, and with cooking utensils such as a clay pot and frying pans available, it was easy to prepare simple meals. The sauna in the living room was easy to operate via touch panel, so we could enjoy it without any hassle. The upstairs bedrooms had comfortable mattresses, and we slept well. The lakeside bedroom has an open atrium from the first floor; in the morning we woke up with natural light and enjoyed a luxurious time watching the misty scenery. With cherry trees right in front on the Lake Aoki side, we would love to stay again during cherry blossom season as well. It was also convenient for access to Hakuba, Nagano City, Matsumoto City, and Azumino City.
