  Relax and unwind

  It was my first time staying with Sanu, and I’d love to come back again. As soon as we arrived, the scent of wood greeted us, and the Room was clean and comfortable. We were able to relax with our dog on the raised platform area. Also, because meals weren’t provided, we could visit our favorite bakeries for breakfast, and choose between cooking dinner ourselves or eating out—so it felt like living there while still being able to refresh. It was a shame that the bathroom was small and there wasn’t space to put things in the washroom area, but otherwise we were very satisfied.

  A Relaxing Retreat

  My first time staying at a SANU cottage. I don’t usually write Reviews, but this was so good I had to share! Great access—about a 2.5-hour drive from Tokyo. When we arrived, the uniquely designed Accommodation welcomed us. After completing online check-in, we headed inside. The moment I opened the front door, the scent of wood was incredible!!! The Room was spacious—a luxurious space filled with warmth from the wood. What impressed me most was the private sauna. It felt more spacious than I expected, and it was great being able to enjoy it with friends whenever we wanted without worrying about anyone else! The cold plunge tub is sized for one person, so if you’re using it with multiple people, a quick heads-up to each other helps keep things smooth. At night we had a group cooking session! We drove a short distance to a large supermarket for groceries. The kitchen is well equipped and just the right size, with plenty of cookware and tableware. We had such a fun time cooking together. Since it’s an entire home rental, it was also nice not having to worry too much about neighbors. We stayed up chatting late into the night and took our time in the morning—everything at our own pace. Highly recommended for friend groups or families. I’d love to stay again.
