  Relaxing Family Trip

  We stayed during Golden Week as a family of four. The Accommodation is new and the facilities are clean, so we had a fun and comfortable stay. One thing we noticed is that perhaps because part of the floor is heated, it would be nice to have indoor slippers. Also, there were many very fine fibers on the bath towels. They were washed cleanly, so it may happen during drying. In addition, the signal around the Accommodation was unstable, so we couldn’t check maps on our phones and it took quite a while to find the place. Since there are no signs, we should have taken screenshots or printed directions in advance. After arriving, we fully enjoyed the Onsen and BBQ, and it turned into a wonderful trip. The Hakone craft beer was delicious as well. Thank you very much.

  It was a quiet stay.

  For check-in, we completed pre-check-in via an email sent in advance, and on the day of arrival the front door key code was emailed to us. It was great to be able to enter immediately upon arrival. Check-in itself was done via video call on the iPad in the living room. The free-flowing Onsen we had been looking forward to was excellent. The bath was spacious enough for two adults with plenty of room. One disappointment was that hair from a previous guest remained in the drain. Other than that, we also enjoyed the sauna on the second floor. Because the sauna and cold plunge are on the balcony, you’ll need something to cover up (or wrap a bath towel) or you’ll be exposed outside. Bringing sauna wear might be a good idea. Another disappointment was that although we came to enjoy the Onsen and sauna, only one bath towel and one face towel per person were provided. (The bath drain was also disappointing.) There was a washer-dryer, but the inside felt dusty and the filter was clogged with lint, so we didn’t feel comfortable using it. Aside from that, the property had underfloor heating, the heating was already on when we checked in so it was warm, and the Room was clean, spacious, and above all very quiet—making it very comfortable to stay. We wanted to fully enjoy the Onsen, and overall we felt very satisfied.
