    A second way of living in nature, within walking distance of the sea.

    It was in a great location within walking distance of the beach, where you can really feel the wide-open skies unique to Chiba’s Pacific coast. We didn’t notice any particular issues with nighttime noise or insects.

    The perfect stay, surrounded by the sound of the waves and the scent of wood

    This spacious maisonette-style accommodation is comfortable even for four adults. Mornings are especially memorable—enjoying coffee on the terrace while listening to the sound of the waves. The beach is within walking distance, and taking the picnic set provided in the cabin made our time by the sea even better. It was a relaxing stay that let us forget the hustle and bustle of city life.

    Located just steps f...

    Located just steps from the ocean, it feels like an escape from the everyday the moment you arrive. The biggest highlight was being close enough to walk to the beach for a morning stroll. It’s an ideal setting for anyone who loves surfing and nature. The building has a warm, natural wood feel—simple yet refined—and it feels more like a stylish vacation home than a typical Hotel. With plenty of light coming in through large windows, the space feels open and airy even indoors. It looked even better in person than in the photos. The Facility is well equipped, with a kitchen and a workspace, making it great for a workcation. I did some work during my stay and found it easy to focus. On the other hand, there’s very little in terms of Hotel-style service, so some guests may find it slightly inconvenient. Also, because it’s popular, getting a Reservation can be somewhat difficult. Overall, rather than just “travel,” this felt like an experience of living in nature. I’d love to stay again when I want to relax or spend time somewhere different.

    Recommended for families with young children.

    We stayed for one night on a weekday with our child (about 1.5 years old), parents, grandmother, and our dog (small breed). Above all, it was an environment where our child could move around safely (stairs require supervision), and at the same time the Facility and design were relaxing for adults as well—everyone was satisfied. We followed the Map provided at the Accommodation (including recommended ways to spend your time) as closely as possible, and it exceeded our expectations. We ate lunch nearby, checked in, went grocery shopping afterward, cooked, and then spent a relaxed evening. For families with children, there is a park nearby where kids can play, and the beach is also close—our child seemed to really enjoy it. As for the bath, it’s not an open-air bath or an Onsen, but it was spacious and comfortable enough to soak in. It’s a bit slippery, so you may need to be careful with children. One note: some of the shops listed on the Map had already closed. Also, we visited on Tuesday and Wednesday, and many places nearby were closed on those days as well—so it may be worth keeping that in mind.

    Since we were travel...

    Since we were traveling with our child and our dog, we chose this Accommodation for its great access—about a 1.5-hour drive from central Tokyo! We left around noon on Saturday and returned Sunday morning, and the trip was very smooth without getting caught in traffic jams. The moment we stepped into the Room, it felt like an extraordinary, luxurious space, yet the calm atmosphere wrapped in silence instantly helped us relax. In the evening, we enjoyed seafood we bought at a nearby fish shop, and in the morning we walked to Overview Coffee for breakfast. We could also let our child and dog play by the nearby beach—an extremely satisfying stay!

    A stay where you can reclaim your time amidst nature

    A serene retreat just a 3-minute walk from the ocean, where you can reconnect with yourself in peace. The calm atmosphere of Ichinomiya and the simple yet beautiful design of the space create an incredibly comfortable experience, allowing you to unwind from the moment you check in. While not flashy, every detail is thoughtfully considered, making it clear why you'd want to stay longer. Whether working a little, reading a book, or simply enjoying moments of doing nothing, this place naturally adapts to any way you'd like to spend your time. This stay offers more than just "accommodation"—it leaves a lasting impression even after returning to daily life. It's truly a special place where you'll want to return for both mental and physical rejuvenation. P.S. The next morning, I enjoyed breakfast at Overview Coffee just 3 minutes away on foot—it was exceptional! It seems this café is also produced by SANU.

    Spacious and open area

    We stayed as a group of three. The high ceiling made the space feel larger than its actual size. The kitchen was well-equipped, so we enjoyed cooking together after shopping at a nearby supermarket. The starry sky was beautiful, and we had a great time on the terrace stargazing. After 9 PM, we kept quiet and relaxed indoors. Although it got chilly at night, the pellet stove kept us warm and comfortable. We would love to stay here again!
