    We were able to rela...

    We were able to relax and take our time while enjoying the ocean view. It was also very helpful to be able to communicate via LINE whenever we had questions. Both the Facility and the scenery were beautiful, and this is one of the places we would like to stay at again. If I had one small request, it would have been convenient to have a large serving platter among the kitchenware. (Sorry for such a minor point.) Thank you very much.

    It’s really disappointing that there’s no fence even though it’s a dog run!!

    [Pros] - Great views - Easy access to the sea [Cons] - There’s no fence, so you can’t let your dog off-leash (we tried and our dog ran off). - It’s basically a cliff, so you can’t let children roam freely either. - There’s no clear boundary with the neighboring building—you can enter their area, and they can enter yours. - No dishwasher. - On checkout, the cleaning staff were waiting outside, which felt a bit awkward.

    An Ocean-View Villa with Spectacular Views to Enjoy with Your Dog

    This private villa with a truly stunning ocean view made us feel like we’d escaped from everyday life the moment we arrived. The sea stretches out beyond the large windows, and the panoramic views are incredibly soothing. It’s a wonderful place to stay with your dog, with a spacious lawn where pets can run around freely and looked like they were having the best time. The open, airy atmosphere makes it easy to relax. Having a BBQ while looking out at the ocean over the lawn was exceptional—especially at sunset, when it was beautifully scenic and felt wonderfully luxurious. The location is also great: walk a little way down the slope and you’re right at the beach. We even saw people fishing and surfing, which added to the resort-like vibe. A fantastic villa with an amazing view and location where we could truly unwind with our dog. We’d love to visit again.

    Looking forward to what’s next.

    The building is new, clean, and well maintained. The Facility and amenities were also fine. I was grateful that the staff responded quickly whenever I had questions. A few disappointing points: First, I had been informed about nearby construction, but it was still a downside for a relaxing stay (perhaps the price was set lower because of it). There was noise and vibration, and above all, while the bathroom window is great for watching the sunset, the inside is clearly visible from construction vehicles. It was difficult because I couldn’t use the bath until construction ended for the day. Even after work ends, it’s still visible from the walkway, so having a shade would be helpful. The bedroom windows also have no curtains or shades and are fully visible from the route where construction vehicles pass, so I think those should be added as well. Also, although the garden is said to double as a dog run, there is no fencing so you can’t let a dog off-leash. There should be fences both where you pass through from the parking space into the garden and along the cliff edge facing the sea. This isn’t only for dogs—without a fence near the cliff edge, it’s dangerous. I think these issues can be improved quickly, and since the location is excellent, I would definitely like to visit again around when construction has finished.

    One-of-a-kind ocean view

    The moment we stepped inside, the ocean view beyond the lawn garden burst into sight through the large living room windows. We had the breathtaking sea view from the hilltop all to ourselves. We enjoyed a BBQ while watching the sunset, and after dark we had drinks on the spacious terrace under a sky full of stars. We could hear the sound of the waves all night long. The next morning, as soon as we entered the living room again, we were moved by that ocean view once more—truly one of a kind. Our dog was in great spirits too, running around happily both in the garden and in our Room. The location was also very convenient—we couldn’t believe such an amazing place existed. It was an unforgettable stay. We did have some rainy weather, but it was great that we could still enjoy a BBQ even in the rain. The Accommodation’s Facilities and amenities were perfect; even arriving empty-handed, we lacked nothing at all. Everything was spotless, and we were able to relax comfortably. At checkout, the staff kindly saw us off with warm hospitality. If we have time, we’d love to return again soon.

    Simply the best!!!

    A stylish and open accommodation that feels like a beach resort abroad. It has all the facilities you could want. A supermarket is also nearby. We traveled with two dogs this time, and the dog supplies were perfect. While pet-friendly accommodations often have odor concerns, this place smelled wonderful everywhere. The only downside was that the garden lacked circles or fences, connecting to neighboring houses and roads, so it couldn't be used as a dog run. However, the accommodation was so amazing that it outweighed this minor issue. Definitely coming back!

    We stayed here for a trip with our dog, and it was an incredibly luxurious experience. The spacious dog run within the property allowed our pet to run freely and happily, which left a lasting impression. Located right by the sea, opening the window revealed a breathtaking ocean view. Spending time surrounded by the sound of waves truly felt like an extraordinary escape. As a private villa rental, it offers complete privacy for families to relax without worrying about others. The price is approximately 20,000 yen per person, which we found very reasonable given the environment and facilities—it’s excellent value for money. Highly recommended for those planning a trip with their beloved pets!

    Recently, I stayed at Doggies Tateyama Mera Beach by GIFTHOUSE with my beloved medium-sized dog. The villa is located right in front of the sea, and opening the window in the morning to feel the refreshing sea breeze and enjoy the stunning ocean view was truly healing. The villa is a private rental, offering a great sense of privacy. It also features a dog run in the garden, allowing my dog to run freely, which was fantastic. In the evening, I enjoyed drinks on the deck while listening to the sound of waves. The kitchen allowed for self-catering, so we had an amazing BBQ using fresh local fish and vegetables purchased from a nearby supermarket—an unforgettable experience! Access from central Tokyo was easier than expected, making it perfect for a quick weekend getaway. With weekday discounts applied, it cost just over 20,000 yen per person. Considering this level of quality and freedom, I found it very cost-effective. My dog had an incredible time as well—strolling along the beach and running around in the garden. Spending time surrounded by nature with my pet made this accommodation truly special. I’d love to visit again during another season!
