    We stayed here for a family birthday trip.

    I have stayed at NIPPONIA in other locations before, but we chose this Accommodation because it is close to Chichibugahama Beach. It seems well suited for longer stays, with a spacious kitchen that was very easy to use. The two-story maisonette layout also provided plenty of privacy; the three of us stayed as a family and each of us could relax at our own pace. We could walk to Chichibugahama Beach, and although it was extremely hot, we enjoyed morning and evening walks. Since dining options are a bit far away, it was slightly inconvenient without a car. It might be nice if in-Room dining were available as an option as well. This time we also ordered an optional cake, and they kindly consulted with us from the planning stage, making it a wonderful birthday and trip with great memories. I would love to come back and take it easy again in another season.

    It was so relaxing!

    We stayed here on a three-generation trip with my mother and daughter! Since our main destination was Chichibugahama Beach, the location was perfect. The spacious, retro traditional house let us forget the hustle and bustle of the city and relax at a leisurely pace. My mother in her 80s fondly picked up the records in the Room, while my daughter said it was her first time seeing vinyl records—haha. It became a truly memorable time. Thank you very much. We’d love to stay again.

    A thoughtful stay to show appreciation for your elderly mother.

    I stayed here last autumn with my 92-year-old mother and my husband. I have stayed at NIPPONIA Accommodations in other prefectures, but I think this Accommodation was the best. We loved the calm atmosphere of the traditional house, strolling through the townscape, and visiting Chichibugahama Beach. You kindly guided us to a dagashi shop and a bakery, and it felt nostalgic—like we truly belonged in this town. The meal course featuring fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea was excellent; the fish was especially delicious. Although it was a first-time experience for my elderly mother, she was very satisfied as well. It was a soothing trip in a space without a TV, accompanied by music. I would love to stay in a different Room next time.

    An Accommodation Where Time Flows Slowly

    This was my first stay at Chiyoya. As it’s a dispersed Hotel, we enjoyed strolling around nearby Chichibugahama Beach and the townscape, and had breakfast at a nearby restaurant. The Room was spacious with three rooms, and both the town and the Accommodation felt like time moved more slowly, which left us feeling refreshed in both body and mind!! Breakfast was also a Japanese meal made with local seafood, and the rice cooked in a clay pot and the perfectly grilled fish were absolutely delicious.
