The conger eel was excellent.
We stayed with two adults and two dogs. On the way there, our navigation system guided us on a detour and we arrived via a very narrow road, but after the staff explained the route, we found that if you exit onto the road right in front, you’re immediately on a main road and it’s very close to the Awaji Interchange—an excellent location. Our dogs had a great time running around both in the shared dog run Room and in the run. The complimentary drinks at the shared run were much appreciated. For dinner at Genpei, the anago (conger eel) hot pot and sashimi were outstanding, with generous portions—absolutely delicious (lol). In summer, most vacation rentals have lots of insects, but there were very few this time, which was great. Proper insect control measures are clearly in place. The staff were also wonderful and kindly helped us throughout—thank you very much. We’ll definitely come back again.

We’re sorry that your navigation on the way here led you on a detour and caused inconvenience. Still, we’re relieved to hear you appreciated our convenient location close to Awaji Interchange. We will improve our directions so that next time you can arrive smoothly without any confusion. We were also so happy to hear that your dogs ran around joyfully in the dog run. Even during this intense summer heat, we have worked hard to keep the lawn in good condition, so it means a lot to know they enjoyed playing there comfortably. As Awaji Island is rich in nature, it can be difficult to eliminate insects completely, but we have continued doing everything we can. Relax in comfort with premium furnishings in an unbeatable location.
We stayed here on our first trip to Awaji Island with our beloved dog. The moment we stepped into the Room, we were greeted by an incredible view. Every piece of furniture—down to a single table and chair—had clearly been carefully chosen with kindness for both people and dogs. The amenities were also thoughtfully prepared, and the fluffy towels made us so happy. We were especially impressed by how well stocked the dog amenities were; even each diaper was neatly wrapped with its size clearly labeled. The dog run had benches, a mini café, photo spots, and plenty of toys—it truly felt like this is an owner who genuinely cares about dogs, which made us as owners very happy too. When staying at an Accommodation with a dog, we feel that thoughtful consideration for dogs is what brings owners the most comfort and relaxation. Our stay at AWAI DOG SYAY was deeply soothing, and we could really feel the care of the owner and staff—it became a memorable experience for us. Thank you very much.

Stunning views
We stayed with two dogs. The view was truly breathtaking and deeply moving. The owner and staff were kind, and it was clear they put dogs first. We’ve been to many places, but this was the best.

Excellent location
This was our first time staying here. The Room was clean, and the view from the Room was excellent. We were also pleased with the well-stocked amenities for our dog. The staff were kind and attentive, and we were very satisfied. However, since the Room entrance uses an electronic lock, unlocking it was a bit inconvenient. If we have another opportunity to visit, we would like to stay here again.

Excellent location
For our first trip to Awaji Island with our dog, we wanted to spend relaxed, unhurried time rather than follow a packed schedule, so we looked for a villa-style Accommodation that could be rented as an entire unit. That’s when we found AWAI DOG STAY. Because each villa is separate, privacy is excellent, and the location is amazing—with the Akashi Sea stretching out right in front of you. The base3 trailer house is compact but was just right for a couple and our dog, and we were able to stay very comfortably. The Room was also well equipped with dog amenities such as food bowls and pee pads, and we truly appreciated the dog-friendly environment and thoughtful touches. We enjoyed the “Island Breakfast,” made with plenty of ingredients nurtured on Awaji Island. Everything was genuinely delicious, and having breakfast under the blue sky while taking in the beautiful view was wonderful. We were also grateful for the shared dog run, and it seemed our dog enjoyed it to the fullest. Away from everyday life and surrounded by beautiful nature, we were able to make great memories as a family. Thank you very much for such a lovely stay.

A luxurious stay with complete satisfaction in dining, views, and location.
We stayed for two nights with friends. Although we did not bring any pets, we were very satisfied with everything—from our stay and the meals to the scenery. Especially on the first and second days, we enjoyed luxurious dishes such as premium sushi and a hot pot featuring Densuke conger eel. The location was convenient, allowing us to take our time sightseeing around Awaji Island and Shikoku, and we had a very comfortable stay. We would love to stay again!

I had a very comfort...
I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The room was stylishly furnished with tasteful amenities and appliances, which lifted my spirits. The breathtaking view of the Akashi Strait from the room was truly amazing, with the scenery changing beautifully depending on the time of day. The staff were also very friendly, and I would love to stay again next time with meals included.

A Blissful Moment
Enjoyed a luxurious getaway from daily life. The dinner featuring conger eel, especially the Densuke anago, was an unforgettable first-time experience! Dogs are welcome and happy!
Surprisingly close! Just a 45-minute drive from Umeda. Arrived in no time. The accommodation offers a stunning location with views of the Akashi Bridge and Seto Inland Sea, featuring a beautiful grassy dog run and private rental accommodations. The bath was amazing too. It was my first time staying at such a wonderful facility where I could bring my dog along. I’d love to visit each season and enjoy it again. Next time, I plan to come in spring!

Everything is excellent.
Everything was perfect! Dining while enjoying the night view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and spending relaxing moments were truly wonderful, making it a rewarding trip for our entire family. We were incredibly lucky to stay in a newly built private villa that hasn’t even been open for a year. The fact that we could see the night view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge was one of the main reasons we chose this place. When our children were younger, their grandfather expressed his first wish to drive across the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, so we all went on our first family drive together with their grandmother and enjoyed its breathtaking night view. Being able to relax at such a beautiful location and reminisce about those precious memories as a family made this trip even more special. We are deeply grateful to all the staff members and those who delivered delicious catering meals, accommodating our requests with kindness despite any inconvenience caused by us. This has become another unforgettable memory for our family, and we would love to return again! Thank you so much for such an amazing experience. P.S./ Watching fishermen heading out at dawn was absolutely stunning. It brought us joy to witness their way of life as they set out to catch fresh fish for us all to enjoy!
