    Accommodation offering a comfortable and relaxing stay

    We stayed during the New Year holidays with our Shiba Inu and family. Renting the entire cottage was very relaxing, and the beds were comfortable, allowing us to unwind. The private dog run was a great feature, and despite the freezing weather, our Shiba Inu seemed to enjoy it immensely. The staff were all kind and responsive, which enhanced our overall comfort. If there is a minor inconvenience, it would be that having a combined shower and toilet can be less convenient for larger groups. While having a jacuzzi and sauna is excellent, their location away from the shower room and adjacent to the dining area made them slightly less accessible. It was very dark at night, so bedside lamps or footlights would have been helpful. Since it was a family trip during New Year's holidays, we did notice that terrestrial TV channels were unavailable—a small disappointment for us. However, the meals were delicious! The Room was very comfortable; even in extreme cold weather conditions, we stayed warm throughout our visit in this lovely cottage where we could relax with our dog easily. We look forward to visiting again during another season!

    Feedback on Accommodation Positive Points: The staff provided polite and pleasant service. Negative Points: - During summer, I brought a large amount of ice, but the freezer had ice stuck inside and was unusable. - The sauna only reached a maximum of 70°C, which was not enjoyable enough. It would be helpful to mention this in advance. - There seemed to be frequent additional charges. - Amenities were advertised as THANN but mostly consisted of standard commercial products. - The projector's sound quality was poor, making it difficult to enjoy the visuals fully. - The view from the room was of a forest, but felled trees were left scattered around, detracting from the scenery. - A late check-out request was denied; being just 15 minutes late resulted in an additional charge of 2,000 yen despite paying a premium price of 77,440 yen (Saturday rate).

    The sauna is excellent!

    We stayed as a family of five with two dogs. The triangular-roofed house offered a luxurious space inside, with high-quality facilities and furniture. Because of this, we kept our dogs in their cages rather than letting them roam freely, which might have felt a bit restrictive for them. Dinner was BBQ, and not only was the meat delicious but the soup was also so tasty that the kids had seconds and finished everything! While tableware is provided in the Room, it would have been nice to have more variety like large plates for grilled items or bowls for soup. There was dishwashing detergent available, but we initially didn’t notice the foldable drying rack stored away and ended up using kitchen paper to dry dishes when we ran out of clean ones. The property allows you to ask questions via LINE anytime, which is convenient; however, having more explanations or signage overall would improve clarity. The bathroom setup included a sauna and jacuzzi near the kitchen area while there was another space with a shower room combined with a sink and toilet near the vanity area. Although stylishly designed, it felt inconvenient that using the shower meant others couldn’t access the sink or toilet at that time—having an independent toilet would be better. Additionally, while towels were provided per person, having two sets (one for jacuzzi/sauna use and one for showers) would be even better. The sauna experience was fantastic—it even allowed löyly (steam infusion), which my husband thoroughly enjoyed by doing six rounds of sauna-cold bath (jacuzzi)-outdoor relaxation cycles! For sauna enthusiasts, this Room offers an indulgent and exceptional experience!
