The 4-digit code req...
The 4-digit code required for check-in was not sent to me in advance, so I panicked quite a bit standing in front of the entrance in the scorching heat. When I called, I was directed to LINE, and after messaging back and forth I was able to enter safely. Since we had exchanged messages with questions several times before check-in, I assume you already had my contact details, but it felt very inconvenient not being able to reach someone by phone immediately when something like this happens. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the Facility! If you’re planning a BBQ, it’s reassuring to prepare various items in advance. There are dishes and cooking utensils, but it’s better to assume there is nothing else provided. Things I’m glad I brought were seasonings (salt and pepper, lemon, yakiniku sauce, ponzu sauce, etc.), as well as aluminum foil and kitchen paper towels. There were quite a few insects inside the Room and in the changing area. Overall, we were very satisfied with the pool, sauna, and BBQ!

Spacious and open, we stayed with a small group this time, but I think it would be just as satisfying for a larger group. With well-equipped Facilities such as a sauna, natural Onsen, and a pool, it was the perfect place to relax right in front of the ocean.

A Relaxing Seaside Sauna Accommodation
The main bedroom is clean and has a surprisingly calming atmosphere. You can enjoy a panoramic ocean view both from the Room and from the terrace. The entire Facility is spacious, and there are two bedrooms. Since there are not many houses nearby, it is quiet and relaxing even at night. With high ceilings and a very large living room, it feels open and airy, and very clean. *For two guests, it may feel a bit too spacious.* There is a pool, but it is quite deep, so it feels more suitable for adults. *Please be careful if children will be using it.* We felt it would be more enjoyable for groups such as students or for larger parties like 2–3 families traveling together. The 190 cm cold-water bath can feel scary at night because you cannot see the bottom at all—especially if you are easily frightened.

We stayed at Soboro ...
We stayed at Soboro in Kamogawa, Chiba Prefecture! There were 10 of us, and we enjoyed the pool, sauna, karaoke, BBQ terrace, and even Netflix—everyone had a great time at our own pace!! It was such an amazing Accommodation that we’d love to stay again. Highly recommended for both large and small groups!

I was able to relax and unwind away from the city.
We stayed with three families of friends. We found this place and made a Reservation while looking for a private rental where we could relax, and it was far more satisfying than we expected—enjoying the heated pool, sauna, and watching videos on the projector. The BBQ ingredients were also luxurious, and the time flew by. In particular, we ended up using the sauna and pool over and over—also in the morning—while chatting with friends, and the indoor Onsen was so relaxing that one night simply wasn’t enough. It was quiet around us and felt like a completely private space, so we’d love to stay again when our family grows.

A Luxurious Refreshing Stay with Ocean Views
I stayed here recently. I was able to enjoy a truly luxurious and relaxing time while gazing out at the ocean. The facilities were very well equipped, with a sauna, pool, Onsen, karaoke, and more—so it was appealing that we could have fun all day without going out. The combination of the sauna and pool felt especially great, and I was able to refresh completely. The kitchen was also well stocked, and it’s a wonderful memory that we cooked together and enjoyed our meals. The Accommodation was clean throughout, and we were able to relax in a private-feeling space. I think this is a wonderful vacation rental that I can highly recommend for trips with friends or family. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.

Stayed for 2 nights ...
Stayed for 2 nights with 2 adults. The purpose was the sauna and onsen, and the sauna had adjustable temperature settings and special oil for löyly, which made it very refreshing. The onsen uses reheating as the source water is cold. Although the pool and cold bath were a bit disappointing, considering the price, it was satisfying overall. You can also enjoy a bonfire at a spot down the stairs. We booked a no-meal plan, but there is a sushi restaurant right in front where you can enjoy delicious local seafood. The kitchen is equipped with essentials like a microwave, rice cooker, pots, and dishes—cooking here would be enjoyable too! For stays of 1-2 nights, bringing seasonings can be inconvenient; having basic seasonings available would be helpful.

Great value for the price range.
Stayed with family last weekend. The accommodation had a pool, sauna, onsen, and even a bonfire—all at an unbelievably affordable price. Highly recommended for its value. However, there were some disappointing points: no kitchen paper despite being listed, reused dish sponges, and other small details that could be improved. It was helpful to confirm later via LINE, but having a projector manual would have been nice. Also, be cautious when using the bath (hot spring source) without reading the instructions—it can lead to trouble if not careful. I planned to enjoy the pool, sauna, cold bath again in rotation and finish with a warm bath—but it wasn’t heated... Make sure to read emails or instructions carefully beforehand! Ended up using the shower instead—though I really wanted that relaxing bath experience. On another note: I caught a cold starting Sunday after checkout and have been unwell through Wednesday while resting these three days. During this time, I received an email regarding my review submission for the special "Review Exclusive Plan" I booked—stating legal action might follow if no review is posted! This felt unnecessary pressure. Out of curiosity (and humor), I consulted my own legal advisor via LINE about: - What’s considered reasonable timing post-checkout for submitting reviews? - Was this requirement clearly stated? After contacting IKYU.com about whether such emails are appropriate within just three days of checkout—especially considering personal circumstances like health—the conversation ended on a lighthearted note. Personally though—I’ll likely avoid accommodations under this group in future stays.
