    We stayed here as a ...

    We stayed here as a family. The pool and the Facility were clean, and the pool temperature was just right, so we had a great time. If I had to mention one thing, the convenience store is a bit far by car, and there are few streetlights at night, which makes driving difficult—so it would be perfect if drinks and alcohol were prepared in advance. We would love to stay again with our family if we have the chance.

    A Wonderful Private Space

    Our family of five stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of two nights. We received a detailed email in advance explaining how to enter the property and the Facility, which made us feel at ease. The spacious building was new, with tasteful interior design, and we especially felt a sense of luxury with the pool and sauna. We enjoyed a barbecue by the pool and were able to spend a very relaxing time. Whenever we had questions, they replied immediately by email, and we could really feel the sincerity of the staff. Managing such a large Room must be challenging, but we would love to stay again.

    This is the best accommodation!

    We were looking for an Accommodation where five friends could relax, and we found this Facility and made a Reservation right away. The Room felt very clean, and the building itself was also beautiful. The bathrooms and other water areas were especially well maintained, so we had a very comfortable stay. We were really looking forward to the sauna, and it was excellent. After the sauna, you can rinse off and head straight into the pool, which made it easy for all of us to enjoy. There was a walking map on the official website, so we used it to visit a bakery and a café as well. Both were great, so next time we’d like to try different places! When we emailed with questions, we received a quick reply, which was very helpful. This is an Accommodation we would definitely like to stay at again!

    The service and accommodation were excellent!

    We made several requests in advance, but the staff responded very politely, and my friend who joined me was also very pleased! It was a hot day, but diving into the pool after the sauna became an unforgettable memory. To be honest, I thought it was a bit expensive before going, but once we arrived, the accommodation was so beautiful and satisfying that it felt like a great deal! My friend also mentioned wanting to visit again, so we hope to return with the same group. Thank you very much for this time!

    Self Check-in

    We stayed for two nights as a family. It might be suitable for a one-night stay to host a party or spend time with friends, but personally, I felt there was very little support for guests. To list the issues: First, I use au, but the signal was terrible. The best connection seemed to be by the poolside, yet even there it frequently disconnected, which was frustrating. At breakfast, we were instructed to use the provided sandwich maker to make hot sandwiches; however, the sandwiches didn’t fit in the machine. Additionally, while there is a dishwasher in the kitchen, it couldn’t be used because no detergent was provided. When I asked staff about this issue, they told me to wash dishes by hand. Furthermore, when we ran out of toilet paper and requested more supplies from staff, we were told to retrieve it ourselves from a locked storage room within the facility using a code they provided for its padlock—though I wondered if sharing such codes so easily is appropriate. Despite searching through an overly cluttered storage room as instructed by staff over phone communication (since no one came in person), I couldn’t find any toilet paper and had to contact them again—only then being advised instead simply go buy some at nearby convenience stores myself! During our summer stay here specifically: bathroom sink taps only produced water heated up around 42°C making usage uncomfortable due excessive heat levels involved; meanwhile kitchen faucet system appeared high-quality sensor-based design overall yet displayed blinking "replace" message every single time activated raising concerns whether filters might already overdue replacement cycles potentially compromising hygiene standards unknowingly affecting users negatively long-term basis unknowingly without proper maintenance oversight measures implemented beforehand accordingly beforehand proactively addressing potential risks arising thereof effectively minimizing adverse impacts experienced unnecessarily otherwise avoidable altogether ideally speaking optimally under normal circumstances ideally speaking optimally under normal circumstances ideally speaking optimally under normal circumstances ideally speaking optimally under normal circumstances Ideally Speaking Optimally Under Normal Circumstances Ideally Speaking Optimally Under Normal Circumstances Ideally Speaking Optimally Under Normal Circumstances

    Too many disappointing aspects.

    Just thinking about it makes me feel uncomfortable, so I will refrain from providing details. I feel deeply sorry for my companion who was looking forward to this experience. Honestly, I felt a strong sense of discomfort that such a Facility is listed on IKYU.com. I am concerned that it may affect the brand value of IKYU.com.

    The pool, sauna, and...

    The pool, sauna, and BBQ were great, and the Facility was very clean. However, the path to the sauna had overgrown grass, which made it less enjoyable. I ended up using the sauna only once because of this. It was disappointing, so I rated it 4 stars.

    It was the perfect holiday!

    The clean and comfortable room, combined with the private pool and sauna, was absolutely amazing. Since it was a hot day, I jumped straight into the pool upon arrival, enjoyed a sauna session with löyly, and then dove back into the pool! The detailed facilities like towels, amenities, and speakers were well-prepared for a luxurious experience. It exceeded my expectations beyond what the photos showed, and their prompt responses to my questions were greatly appreciated! I will definitely stay here again—and to you reading this review: I highly recommend it!

    Luxurious Memories of Golden Week

    We stayed during Golden Week. Our children, who were car sick and tired from the ride, immediately brightened up at the sight of the pool and jumped in as soon as we arrived. Thank you for allowing us to enter the room even though we arrived earlier than the check-in time. The room was clean and felt like a luxurious private villa. The surprise meal prepared for us was delicious; however, one disappointment was that although we reserved a barbecue plan, there was no barbecue sauce provided. It would have been helpful if this had been mentioned in the plan details beforehand. Additionally, while I understand that cleaning and preparation can be busy, it would have been even better if check-in could be at 3 PM instead of 4 PM to enjoy our stay more fully. Overall, we were very satisfied! Thank you so much! The meat and seafood were incredibly delicious!

    My husband is a big sauna enthusiast, so we often spend weekends at Hotels or villas, but this place was truly exceptional and offered a fresh experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and completely private, with no interaction except for the breakfast delivery. The location turned out to be perfect—our worries about it being too remote were unnecessary. Just a short drive from Izu Kogen into a quiet residential area, we found an open and sunny property featuring a sparkling pool and barrel sauna that matched the photos perfectly. We knew right away upon parking that it would exceed our expectations. The Room was equipped with stylish interiors and state-of-the-art appliances in every corner, making each space exciting to explore while maintaining thoughtful design for ease of use. It provided such comfort that every family member had nothing but praise for how enjoyable the stay was—it truly felt like an extraordinary vacation home. We also discovered some delightful activities thoughtfully planned by the owner, which allowed us adults to feel thrilled and excited like kids again—a memorable addition to our stay for which we are deeply grateful. Even before leaving, we were already saying how much we wanted to return here again someday—a luxurious weekend filled with extraordinary moments away from everyday life!

    Truly "Extraordinary"

    We stayed at Poolen ITO for a family vacation, and it was truly the perfect accommodation to experience an extraordinary getaway. From the moment we checked in, we were captivated by the spacious and stylish interior, feeling as if we had arrived at an overseas resort. The cleanliness was impeccable, with attention to detail evident throughout. What impressed us most was the expansive private pool and BBQ space. The kids had a blast in the pool while the adults enjoyed a relaxing BBQ with a refreshing sea breeze—a luxurious time that satisfied everyone in our family. At night, the illuminated pool created a magical atmosphere that naturally sparked lively conversations. In the morning, waking up surrounded by nature's sounds left us feeling refreshed both physically and mentally. It was a perfect escape from our busy daily lives, allowing us to fully relax. It was such an amazing experience that every member of our family said, "We definitely want to come back." Next time, we hope to visit with friends' families as well. It's one of those special places you want to share but also keep as your little secret!

    An Ultra-Luxurious Relaxation Experience!

    A private rental facility located less than an hour from Ito. We visited as a three-generation family with children and enjoyed the luxury of a completely private pool and sauna without any interruptions. The pool is heated year-round and set to around 20 degrees, allowing the kids to have fun splashing around. There was also an authentic barrel sauna, which allowed the adults to indulge in a luxurious experience of relaxing in the pool after a sauna session. The living room within the facility is spacious, offering a wonderful space for family relaxation while watching movies on a large projector or listening to music on vinyl records. The bedrooms were also spacious and comfortable for our stay. Surrounded by the nature of Izu, this fully private space provided us with an extraordinary day of luxury—we would love to visit again!

    Family-Friendly Stay

    We stayed with our family, including a couple and our 3-year-old and 1-year-old children. Although it was April, the pool was heated, so we were able to enjoy swimming despite it being slightly cool. The children had a great time playing in the pool. The bathroom was spacious enough for the whole family to relax together. We also appreciated the ReFa showerhead as a nice touch. We would love to stay here again!

    An Extraordinary Retreat for Adults

    While planning a trip with friends, I came across "Poolen ITO." It seems that famous influencers have stayed here, and judging by their photos and videos, it looked amazing. Upon arrival, both my friends and I couldn’t help but exclaim, “Wow!!” It truly feels like an ideal adult retreat with a private pool, sauna, furniture, and amenities all perfectly arranged! They even provide sauna hats, aroma oils, and bathrobes. We immediately enjoyed the sauna together followed by the refreshing cold plunge in the pool. The BBQ afterward was also fantastic with high-quality seafood and meat—absolutely satisfying! My friends praised my great taste in choosing this accommodation, which made me feel proud! I would love to stay here again when spending precious time with my friends.
