We stayed here as a family.

We stayed during Golden Week. Even though all the other Rooms were fully booked, we could hardly hear any noise from nearby, and we were able to spend a peaceful time surrounded by the quiet forest. Perhaps it was a season with very few insects, as they didn’t bother us at all, and the Facility was clean and very comfortable. Even the shampoo in the bath had a forest-like scent, and we felt that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. Thank you very much. After reading through all of the Room booklet again, I realized that shared Facilities such as the washing machine were located elsewhere, and I wasn’t sure how to clean up properly after using the campfire. It would be reassuring if you could add a short note on the red paper that was originally inside the fire pit grill saying that cleanup instructions are written in the booklet. Also, since it seemed to assume everything should be returned to its original state, I wasn’t sure how far we needed to go in putting things back—such as dishcloths or used towels. It would feel even more reassuring if there were a note like: “Please place used cloths and towels in the laundry basket.” We would love to stay again. We made wonderful memories with our family.

Your beloved dog will be delighted too!

It was a very comfortable stay! All the necessary amenities were provided (reading the guide in advance makes preparation easier), and the accommodation was thoughtfully designed for comfort. Although it was cold outside, the pellet stove warmed up the entire room, making it cozy. Enjoying a night under a sky full of stars with a mug in hand was truly priceless! For guests with dogs, essential amenities like deodorizing spray, towels, and dishes were available, which was very helpful.

I had a relaxing time surrounded by nature.

I stayed for one night and two days. The high-ceilinged, wood-themed room provided a sense of openness and relaxation from the moment I entered. Although I was concerned about the cold, the pellet stove and heating equipment were more than sufficient, keeping me warm throughout my stay. For dinner, I purchased ingredients from a nearby supermarket and roadside station. The kitchen was well-equipped with seasonings and cooking utensils, making meal preparation hassle-free. Preparing meals together around the open kitchen was both fun and a great bonding experience. Check-in is completed online, so there’s no interaction with staff during your stay. However, there were thoughtful touches like a guide on how to enjoy your stay and SANU playlists as background music. These details reflected SANU's warmth and attention to detail, creating heartwarming moments. Next time, I’d love to try staying at another facility!

    Perfect for workations

We used the accommodation for a workation with a group of women. Surrounded by nature in a quiet environment, the cabin's stylish interior and appliances immediately lifted our spirits upon arrival. There were plenty of outlets near the table, making it easy to work on our PCs. The highlight was the desk set up in a secluded space within the room, which allowed us to focus on individual tasks and get work done efficiently. In the evening, we relaxed together by the indoor wood stove fire, enjoying a calm and cozy atmosphere throughout our stay. Although we wanted to try an outdoor bonfire, it was too cold outside at night and we weren’t sure how to start one properly—something we'll definitely try again in summer! We also bought ingredients at a roadside station and cooked meals ourselves. The provided seasonings were impressively well-stocked with carefully selected items you wouldn’t usually find at regular supermarkets. The cute dishware inspired us to create proper meals as well! Overall, this accommodation perfectly balanced tranquility and comfort. Highly recommended for girls' trips or anyone looking for a focused workspace!

    Felt just like home.

I stayed at sanu, which I had been interested in for a while. Although I was initially concerned about the cottages being close to each other, I didn’t hear any noise or voices from the neighbors, so there was no issue. The high ceiling and soft lighting created a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Seeing our dog feel at home here made me glad we chose this place. I would love to stay at other sanu accommodations as well.

This was my first time using this service.

We stayed here for the first time as a couple with our beloved dog. Located near Kawaguchiko IC, it felt like a stylish villa surrounded by nature. The amenities were well-equipped, and the atmosphere was warm with a touch of wooden charm. The large windows allowed plenty of natural light, making it ideal for outdoor activities or remote work. While seasonings, frozen ingredients, tableware, and cooking utensils were provided, there were no beverages available. It would have been even better if there was a service offering mineral water or tea. We would love to stay here again in the future!

I was able to spend a peaceful time with my friends.

I used it for a trip with a friend after a long time. There was a supermarket not far away, so we bought ingredients and made curry and salad for dinner to eat together. We were able to enjoy conversations with the kitchen while sitting at the dining table, feeling relaxed as if we were at home. Because it wasn't anyone's house, we could spend our time freely without unnecessary consideration, making it feel like a second home for everyone. It was also a nice point that the room was warmed up when we checked in. Waking up to the morning sun streaming through large windows and feeling the quiet natural air revitalized my body, helping me regain my original lifestyle that I tend to forget in daily life. I would like to use it again in warmer seasons!

First time visiting SANU as a couple!

This was our first time staying at the SANU series as a couple! As soon as we arrived at the property, we were a bit confused about how to check in, so we called customer support and they saved us...!! The person who assisted us was very kind, and we were able to enter the room without any issues! Since the property is in the mountains where the signal can be weak, I recommend checking the process for unmanned check-in via email or other means in advance. The most impressive feature of the room was the high ceiling with a triangular roof. The room itself wasn't that spacious, but we felt a strong sense of escape and openness!! We were convinced by the architecture's consideration for nature and animals. Since our stay was in mid-January, we were worried about the cold, but there was a pellet stove and two other heating devices installed, so we were able to stay warm! The room was clean, and we didn't find anything inconvenient at all. We thought that when we have children someday, we could enjoy cooking without worrying about others, go on nature walks, and have an even more enjoyable experience. We got excited as a couple about considering a vacation home subscription when we have more financial leeway.

    A slow and pleasant time

This time, I stayed with friends and children. We shopped at a nearby travel station and spent time leisurely cooking with local ingredients. The kitchen was easy to use, and the variety of seasonings available made the time spent preparing dinner very enjoyable. The children enjoyed movie time using the projector. The view from the window seemed to create a sense of leisurely time. I would like to visit again for a relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful experience creating good memories during our first stay immersed in nature with our child.

We stayed in December with our 1-year-old child and my spouse. Surrounded by nature, we were able to spend a very warm time away from everyday life. At Lake Kawaguchi in winter, we, who had never experienced camping as a family, were initially worried about the cold, but with the stove and heater in the cabin, we were able to stay warm indoors. Watching the flickering flames of the pellet stove as it warmed up was a nice touch. With a fence in place, it can be used safely even if you have children or pets. Additionally, there is a supermarket within a 10-minute drive, so it was convenient to stock up on groceries and firewood before checking in. There are several Houtou restaurants in the neighborhood, and enjoying Yamanashi gourmet for lunch is also recommended. The signal around the area is weak at check-in, so connecting to Wi-Fi made access smooth. The cabin has a high ceiling and a wooden structure that feels warm, making it feel more spacious than it actually is. The sunlight coming in through the large windows is very pleasant. The floor was clean with few steps, and our child was happy to crawl and stand around. The kitchen had separately sold coffee beans and a grinder, making the café time upon arrival comfortable. Cooking utensils and seasonings were all available, and with cute plates lined up, even my husband, who usually doesn't cook, was eager to become a chef. A kitchen that's easy to cook in is delightful. The toilet and bath were also clean. Although the dressing room was quite cold in winter, the bath was warm. The bed was low and comfortable to sleep in. Above all, it was great that even beginners could easily enjoy a bonfire with the fire pit in the garden. Firewood could be purchased at the cabin, and with fire starters available, no preparation was needed, allowing for a small campfire. Our child gazed intently at the warm flames amidst the winter scenery, seeming to feel the different flow of time and the first experience of nature. Unlike usual hotel stays, spending a weekend making our own fire, cooking, and relaxing surrounded by trees was a wonderful refreshment. It's also recommended for families debuting in camping. Later, the staff kindly sent us a forgotten stuffed animal promptly, and their service was wonderful. Thank you very much.
