    It was a very clean Accommodation. Due to the season, we couldn’t use the campfire, but we were satisfied in every other way.

    The sauna had a high temperature, which was excellent.

    It was my first visit to Yatsugatake, and it was a wonderful place where the starry sky could be seen beautifully. SANU 2nd Home Yatsugatake 2nd had high ceilings indoors and felt much more spacious than in the photos. The sauna temperature felt higher compared to other facilities, providing the best sauna experience.

    In November, amidst the peak of autumn foliage, we enjoyed an exceptional time surrounded by nature.

    This accommodation is highly recommended for a multiple night stay. One night is simply not enough. There are plenty of experiences to enjoy, such as cooking in a fully equipped kitchen, gathering herbs on the property, watching movies with a projector, reading books available in the room, grinding and brewing your own coffee beans, and sitting by the campfire. During this visit, I stayed for one night and felt reluctant to leave. I promised my friends that we would definitely come back again. The open space with high ceilings and large windows was incredibly pleasant. Next time, I plan to stay longer to enjoy drawing, knitting, reading books, relaxing in the sauna, or taking walks. This is the perfect place to escape from the busyness of city life and take time to reconnect with yourself—highly recommended!

    It was the perfect refreshing time.

    It was my first time staying here, and it was such a wonderful accommodation where I felt my heart lighten amidst nature. The high ceilings and the sense of openness, along with the morning light streaming through the large windows, made waking up truly refreshing. The kitchen and bathroom were efficient and easy to use, with everything impeccably clean and thoughtfully arranged. The sauna is a barrel sauna with a comfortable temperature even for those who are not fond of excessive heat. Its design ensures privacy while allowing you to fully enjoy the sense of freedom in nature. Surrounded by nothing but tranquility, it provided an escape from the usual hustle and bustle of city life. I would love to visit SANU again when I need to recharge my spirit.

    A stay offering the tranquility of the forest and a comfortable workspace

    I had my first stay at SANU 2nd Home Yatsugatake 2nd and was overall very satisfied. The location, surrounded by a forest in a villa area, was quieter than I imagined, with only the sounds of birds and wind—ideal for both work and relaxation. The well-equipped workspace was particularly appealing; the desk with a monitor felt even more comfortable than my home setup. The stable internet connection allowed seamless online meetings, making it an excellent choice for those on workcations. The accommodation is designed for self-catering, and the kitchen facility was well-equipped with all necessary appliances and utensils. Shopping at the nearby "Himawari Market," known for its high-quality products, added to the enjoyment of our stay. The room cleanliness, comfortable beds, and effective heating ensured a pleasant experience. However, I noticed that the kitchen faucet had strong water pressure and an unusual angle that made it prone to splashing when used for the first time. While the humidifier was convenient, its design made refilling tricky; having it pre-filled at check-in would be reassuring. Additionally, it wasn’t clear where to transition between wearing shoes or going barefoot indoors—a minor inconvenience—and walking outside at night felt slightly unsafe due to limited lighting but also highlighted the natural environment's charm. The check-in to check-out process went smoothly overall; pre-arrival instructions were clear despite being unmanned operations. Minimal interaction with staff meant we could enjoy our stay at our own pace without interruptions—perfect for those who prefer this style of accommodation. Although not part of the facility itself, there were occasional delays when accessing information on their website or app pages. For instance, during checkout when trying to locate garbage disposal instructions quickly but experiencing slow page loading—it caused some stress in time-sensitive moments. Improving these digital aspects would further enhance guest satisfaction. Despite these minor issues, balancing work and relaxation amidst nature made this experience highly enjoyable overall. I look forward to visiting again during another season!

    The Best Experience

    It was a wonderful place! The Room had a projector and speakers, and playing the dedicated playlist provided relaxing music. The kitchen was well-equipped with seasonings and tableware, allowing for proper cooking. The cutlery was also lovely. At night, you can quietly gather around a campfire. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

    A Perfect Trip with Friends

    I finally visited SANU Yatsugatake 2nd with my friends! We enjoyed cooking together in the spacious kitchen, warmed ourselves by the campfire while gazing at the starry sky, and relaxed by admiring the autumn forest through the large triangular window. Since it’s a vacation rental type, we could play music without worrying about others and unwind while watching movies on the provided projector. The Wi-Fi was also excellent, making it easy to get some work done. The location is great—just about an hour to both Kofu and Nagano! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a vacation rental or private villa.

    As you open the door...

    As you open the door, you're greeted by the scent of wood, impressive high ceilings, and large windows. This was an accommodation I had always wanted to stay at, and the room exceeded my expectations. Relaxing with my beloved dog while enjoying the forest view was truly rejuvenating for both mind and body. I would love to visit again!

    I had a quiet and relaxing time.

    Woke up to the sound of birds chirping. It’s quiet and brings a sense of calm. I learned at checkout that trash should be taken to the designated trash station. Not knowing where it was, I ended up taking it home with me.

    Recommended for families with children

    I was drawn to the design and decided to stay. Here are my impressions after actually staying: - It seemed convenient to check in and out with just a smartphone, but being in the forest, the signal was poor and the WiFi was slow, so it wasn't smooth. - Upon entering the room, I immediately found several strands of hair on the floor. It was very disappointing to start by cleaning with the provided vacuum cleaner. - The construction was surprisingly cheap, and I felt the balance with the Accommodation Fee was poor (especially the ceiling). - Since I stayed at the end of November, the temperature was low and the room was quite cold, but it became warm and comfortable when I turned on the stove. - The IKYU special wine was not provided, so I inquired by phone. In the end, I was told I could take one from the provided paid wines, and I received one bottle. - The bath was clean and comfortable, but the washroom and toilet were narrow and dim, which felt inconvenient. - It was a bit of a hassle to take out the trash to the station when checking out the next morning. - My 5-year-old child seemed to really enjoy the unique features of this Property, which are different from a regular Hotel. I think it would be a valuable experience for families with children. - It's often difficult to manage meals with children, but here the kitchen and equipment were well-equipped, making it comfortable in that regard. - The bedding was very good, and I wanted to purchase the same for my home. The mattress, pillows, and duvet were all excellent.
