    I can’t wait to stay here again!

    Excellent service, excellent meals, and excellent baths & sauna. This was our first trip with our dog, and we made wonderful memories. We’d like to come again in summer. It was an outstanding Accommodation.

    Excellent!

    We visited in July with a friend's family! The entrance gave us a nostalgic feeling, and once inside, the modern and spacious atmosphere made us feel amazing! Right in front of the accommodation is Lake Hamana, which felt like having our own private beach! After swimming and playing in the lake, we could immediately enjoy the large and beautiful bath at the accommodation, so there was no inconvenience from beach activities at all! After playing by the lake, the staff at the accommodation prepared dinner for us. The food here is absolutely delicious! You can enjoy plenty of local ingredients from the Lake Hamana area. The staff grilled ingredients over charcoal and served them to us—it was such a delightful experience! There was also plenty of delicious rice cooked in an earthen pot, so we made rice balls to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. On the second floor, there are three bedrooms that were spacious and clean. The bedding and pajamas were incredibly comfortable—I was truly impressed! It was my first time sleeping so well on bedding provided by an accommodation that I even asked about their brand name from one of their staff members and ended up purchasing it myself! Since dogs are allowed here as well, we plan to visit again next time with another friend's family who has a dog!

    Sauna & Bath are Excellent!

    The staff were very friendly and kind, and the spacious private accommodation was luxurious. Dinner was enjoyed deliciously at a lovely irori hearth. The steamed oysters and grilled eel were particularly exquisite. The freestanding screen that allows you to project programs from an app was a nice feature, but since there were no curtains on the first floor, it was hard to see the screen clearly during the day. However, it was perfect for watching movies or videos taken on a smartphone at night with dimmed lighting. The accommodation was stylish and well-equipped with various connection cables, a record player, and antique speakers. It would have been even better if there was a way to watch TV (if there was one that I missed). The bath and sauna with löyly were amazing! The cycle of sauna → cold bath → relaxing on the veranda while gazing at Lake Hamana was something I enjoyed over and over again. It was truly wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The only disappointment was that dogs had to be kept in a cage. While my dog had fun running on the sandy beach and going for walks, I felt it would have been great if at least the first floor could be dog-friendly. I would love to recommend this place to my dog-loving friends and visit again with family and relatives if that were possible. The sandy beach of Lake Hamana felt like a private beach with a luxurious location. The garden also had a shower, water faucet, and BBQ grill, making it perfect for walks, water play, and BBQs. Overall, the potential of this accommodation is incredibly high, and I look forward to seeing it become an even more wonderful place in the future.

    Simply the best.

    We visited in early September when it was still warm and perfect for enjoying the beach. The area in front of the accommodation is almost like a private beach, with direct access from the room. There are showers, foot-washing stations, and spaces to hang swimsuits. The front yard leading to the beach features a pool that was filled with water upon check-in, allowing us to enjoy swimming after a day at the beach or sauna. The sauna was preheated at check-in, and you can adjust the temperature and perform löyly yourself. The cold plunge bath attached to the main bath was ice-cold—absolutely refreshing! The large bath allowed everyone to relax together comfortably. Afterward, we enjoyed an outdoor air bath on deck chairs in the front yard while listening to waves amidst lush greenery—a peaceful experience. Although there were many mosquitoes, insect repellent spray and anti-itch creams were provided for convenience. The living-dining area is very spacious and open; even with eight people using it, there was plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. The large sofa accommodates groups easily as well. A projector is available for movie nights (please bring your own DVD player if needed). Each bedroom comes equipped with its own sink and closet—extremely convenient! Toothbrushes and pajamas were also provided. From bedrooms facing the sea, you can enjoy breathtaking sunrises—it’s so beautiful that sleeping feels like a waste of time! Meals featured local seafood delicacies along with rice cooked in a traditional pot—deliciously satisfying! Portions were generous enough even for those who usually find meals insufficient; everyone left full and happy. Staff members were incredibly kind, attentive yet approachable—they accommodated various requests flexibly which made our stay even more enjoyable. For instance: when we decided last-minute on hosting surprise party involving cakes purchased nearby—the staff graciously supported us throughout arrangements. If you're considering staying here but unsure—go ahead! This accommodation will make you want return again & again!

    Surprisingly Highly Rated Renovation

    We stayed as a three-generation family, including an elderly member in their 80s. Although I was initially concerned, they surprisingly enjoyed it. The older generation appreciated having a TV, while my child and I were thrilled to play music at high volume. The carefully prepared meals and excellent amenities were outstanding! If security measures were improved slightly, it would be perfect.

    We received very courteous and pleasant hospitality.

    Upon arrival, we were welcomed with refreshing cold-brewed green tea, a very thoughtful gesture. The interior was clean and stylish. Although we didn’t go swimming in the lake, our Room faced Lake Hamana directly, and the facility allowed easy access from the lakeside to the bath and sauna. There was also a small pool, making it an ideal environment for families with young children. Dinner featured robatayaki-style dishes including grilled unagi (eel), large sweetfish, premium pork and chicken, as well as steamed oysters—all of which were absolutely delicious. The spacious interior provided a quiet and relaxing atmosphere that was truly rejuvenating. The exceptional hospitality of what seemed to be a couple running the place made this summer trip incredibly satisfying!

    Satisfied.

    Modern interior with a spacious and extraordinary atmosphere. The entire accommodation is rented out, and we enjoyed a hearthside dinner, allowing us to relax and spend quality time with our son, his spouse, and our grandchild. The emails received after completing the reservation but before the stay were kind, and the attentive service during our stay was highly appreciated. This is an accommodation I would recommend to friends and acquaintances.

    It was excellent.

    The exterior had a traditional charm that made me excited from the moment I made the reservation, but stepping inside felt truly modern and trendy! As someone who loves hotels and has stayed at various accommodations, this was a series of first-time experiences for me. The robatayaki dinner was also delicious. If I may suggest, it would be great to have a high-end coffee machine with coffee beans provided.

    A private space where you can have Lake Hamana all to yourself.

    At the time of this reservation, there were no reviews on any service, and I embarked on the trip with a slight sense of unease. However, upon visiting, I was pleasantly surprised in a good way. The property was spacious and open, offering a luxurious space that was even more sophisticated than the photos suggested. The amenities were more than satisfactory, with three towels provided per person, and a full range of AV equipment including a projector, Bluetooth speaker, and Denon audio, showing thoughtful consideration. The kitchen was equipped as per the published list, with almost everything available for convenient use. The only thing missing was a cutting board, which I think would be a good addition. The bathroom was also very spacious, with washing areas for three people. The sauna was roomy, allowing for a relaxing time. While it was a wonderful stay, I have one suggestion for improvement. Since this is a vacation rental where the entire building is rented out, as a guest, I expect to enjoy a completely private space without worrying about anyone's eyes. If this property were like a guesthouse, pension, or lodge with shared areas, it would be understandable, but in a vacation rental that emphasizes private space, having staff in the accommodation building can make guests feel uneasy due to the noise and movement from doors other than the entrance, making it difficult to relax. In other vacation rentals I have used, staff only met guests during check-in and check-out, and otherwise stayed at a distance, responding via phone or chat when needed. Considering such an operational method might further enhance satisfaction. I sincerely wish for the continued success of the property. Thank you very much.
