    We visited during the New Year holidays.

    We spent New Year's with our family while enjoying the snowy scenery. Although there was less snowfall, the children had a great time building snowmen and climbing the treehouse. The meals were delightful, thanks to the very kind guidance from the concierge beforehand. We purchased local ingredients from Hida Takayama at a supermarket along the way and enjoyed sukiyaki with Hida beef, cheese, butter, and other dairy products. The kitchen utensils and seasonings were well-stocked, so all we needed to do was buy ingredients. Highly recommended for those who love cooking! Despite it being a season when outdoor baths are usually unavailable due to low temperatures, one was kindly prepared for us. The caretaker also provided very friendly assistance throughout our stay. It was a memorable year-end getaway where we could enjoy quality family time in a snowy wonderland away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This is an accommodation we would love to visit again—highly recommended! Thank you very much!

    A beautiful property where you can fully experience nature.

    I was looking for a cottage to take wedding photos in the snow and found this property. The journey to the property was challenging due to the snowy roads, but we managed to arrive safely as the snow around the cottage was cleared in time for our check-in. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the beauty of the location. Inside, the warmth of the wood and the snowy landscape outside allowed us to take wedding photos that were more beautiful than we had imagined. Although it was freezing outside, the room was heated, making it very comfortable to stay indoors. It took some time to fill the bath, but the shower alone was enough to warm us up. I would love to visit again in other seasons.
