A Sauna Getaway in Kamogawa
We stayed at Kamogawa 919, a traditional house sauna Accommodation, as a group with friends. First of all, the atmosphere was stylish and welcoming. While preserving the charm of an old traditional home, it was also very clean and comfortable. The sauna we had been looking forward to was an authentic wood-fired sauna—something you rarely get to experience in central Tokyo. The gentle, enveloping heat unique to firewood felt wonderful, and being able to enjoy löyly ourselves was another highlight. After working up a good sweat, we relaxed outdoors while watching the beautiful sunset from the veranda. Listening to birdsong and feeling the natural breeze as we unwound was pure bliss—it instantly melted away everyday fatigue. In the evening, we cooked together using fresh local ingredients we had bought nearby and enjoyed a laid-back time with drinks in hand. Spending time chatting with like-minded friends was truly special—a luxurious experience you can’t easily find in the city. Surrounded by nature, we were able to fully enjoy the sauna, meals, and time with friends. It was an outstanding Accommodation that refreshed both body and mind. We’d love to stay again.

The ultimate extraordinary getaway!!
We stayed at a beautifully renovated traditional Japanese house with a sauna, surrounded by nature in Chiba. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape from everyday life—the interior was spotless and thoughtfully prepared down to the smallest details. After fully unwinding in the authentic sauna, we enjoyed a BBQ during the day, hot pot at night, and even a bonfire—truly an ideal getaway. In the evening, we relaxed around the fire and felt completely refreshed both mentally and physically. The Facility was well equipped with everything we needed, so there were no inconveniences at all. The host was also very kind and responsive, which made our stay feel safe and comfortable. This is a wonderful Accommodation that made us think, “We’ll definitely be back.” Nature, sauna, food, atmosphere—everything was excellent. Highly recommended if you’re considering it!

A Relaxing Hidden Retreat
A hidden retreat where you can forget the city’s hustle and bustle in just 90 minutes. Sharing hot pot with friends and gathering around the irori for conversation became truly unforgettable moments. The sauna is also authentic—we enjoyed it at night and again in the morning, and felt completely refreshed! We recommend it for groups of 5–6 friends or families. We’d love to stay again soon.

First stay at a traditional Japanese house rental, and it was very comfortable.
Just a two-hour drive from Tokyo, even with some traffic at Umihotaru, the accessibility exceeded expectations. The weather was perfect, and during this season, the surrounding rice fields are filled with water. The nostalgic sight and the chorus of frogs brought an immediate sense of wonder upon arrival. You can explore the mountain behind the property, enjoying trees, fruits, and wild vegetables. Afterward, unwind in a wood-fired sauna paired with local cold water and a unique "löyly" infused with peels of freshly picked amanatsu citrus from the mountain. The quality of the wood-fired sauna is exceptional! On the spacious balcony overlooking picturesque rice fields and mountains below, time flew by as we shared drinks and conversations. This experience reminded us how luxurious it feels to enjoy simple yet heartwarming moments that evoke nostalgia. We would love to visit again!
