    The garden was dirty.

    Unlike the beautiful garden shown in the photos, it was dirty. I couldn’t let my dog play there.

    The sukiyaki was delicious.

    We stayed here during Golden Week. Dinner was a sukiyaki set and breakfast was French toast, and to be honest, we didn’t have high expectations. Just in case, we bought some good sukiyaki beef at a nearby butcher, but the ingredients provided for both dinner and breakfast were excellent. However, we couldn’t find any clear information about what type of equipment was provided for making sukiyaki, so after searching for quite a while we contacted the staff. Even then, they didn’t know right away and said they would get back to us. In the end we were able to confirm the equipment type and how to use it, but it would be very helpful if this could be explained clearly somewhere. We only stayed one night this time, but we’d like to come back and stay longer.

    The garden terrace doesn’t seem to be well maintained.

    When we went expecting to enjoy the BBQ course, we found what looked like an unmaintained yard and a table and chairs like in the photos (lol). It felt more like “BBQ on a hot plate,” so the course name may be misleading. The bath was good. Probably because it was Golden Week and the rate was high, it didn’t feel like good value for money. Also, the dog crate was a simple one and dirty, so we couldn’t use it. There were pet sheets, but no dog toilet. I’d like these points to be explained more clearly. The parking lot location is hard to understand even with the map, and everyone seemed to get lost.

    Simple yet luxurious stay for families with dogs

    The self-check-in process was a bit confusing at first, but the facility and layout were simple yet luxurious. The Onsen was extremely comfortable, and the living space was thoughtfully designed to provide an extraordinary experience. This is an ideal choice for those planning a slightly luxurious trip with their dogs.

    Not suitable for elderly guests.

    Clean and comfortable with foot baths and floor heating, but the following points were concerning: ① I couldn't figure out how to check in using the tablet. ② The breaker tripped when using two hot plates on the dining table. ③ The fireplace, which could have added a special touch, was out of order. ④ There was a screen in the bedroom, but I didn't know how to use it. For points ① and ④, there might have been instructions in the living room, but it would be helpful to place them near the tablet or close to the screen on the second floor.

    Overall, it was great.

    About Rooms & Amenities We stayed with 9 adults and 1 child, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax. Although the beds were not in completely private rooms, the layout ensured privacy without making anyone uncomfortable. However, many mentioned that the shampoo left their hair feeling rough, so we deducted one point for that. About Service Check-in and check-out were unmanned, which initially made us worried. After making the reservation, we didn’t receive our room number until the day before our stay, which caused some anxiety. When we called to confirm our reservation status, it was only an automated voice guidance system directing us to use a contact form instead of speaking with someone directly. This lack of human interaction added some uncertainty. However, when a breaker issue occurred during our stay, staff provided immediate remote support which was very reassuring! About Onsen & Bathing Facilities The footbath was a big hit with the kids! Since it’s an onsen facility, everyone could enjoy warm baths at any time they liked—absolutely perfect! The onsen water was crystal clear and spotless; everyone loved it! About Facility & Equipment The weeds on the terrace caught my attention. Also, the hairdryer felt too heavy to use comfortably (laughs). Other than that everything else was great! The dishwasher and washer-dryer were incredibly useful! The planetarium feature delighted the kids as well. From upstairs you could see what’s happening downstairs—it created a cozy atmosphere for all of us to enjoy together. We worried about being cold at night but found that heating worked quickly—if anything it got too warm but in a good way! It would be helpful if parking for two cars per room could be arranged through partnerships with nearby lots since this time we booked knowing only one parking spot would be available. Overall Satisfaction We had an excellent experience overall; even my parents were very satisfied! It was our first time staying somewhere where we could bring both dogs and such a large group—it opened up new possibilities for us! Clear instructions on waste separation also made things easier—thank you so much!

    Traveling with Dogs

    We visited with our 1-year-old dog and family. The Onsen, bed, toilet, and room were very clean and had a fresh feel, which we were very satisfied with. We used a hot plate for grilling meat, but the burnt residue on the plate was noticeable. While it was usable, it tended to stick easily, which was a bit disappointing. Pets are not allowed on the second floor, so having a gate or barrier at the stairs would be helpful. The curtains seemed discolored—possibly mold? That crossed my mind. However, overall it was very good! We would love to stay again.

    It still has room for improvement.

    Overall, the stay was pleasant, but there were a few concerns. The kitchen is equipped with an IH stove; however, the provided frying pan (T-fal) was not compatible with IH and could not be used. We managed to cook French toast using the radiant heater section, but it felt inconvenient and somewhat inconsiderate. Additionally, the vacuum cleaner was not charged and therefore unusable. Please note that pajamas are not provided, nor is a hairbrush among the amenities, so guests who need these items should bring their own. Dogs are not allowed on the second floor; having even a simple gate would be helpful in this regard. The bath was excellent with its flowing hot spring water. The French toast served for breakfast was fluffy and delicious—adding a salad would make it even better! I’d love to visit again during another season, though summer on the terrace might require significant measures against insects and mosquitoes.

    I mistakenly made a ...

    I mistakenly made a Reservation for a villa instead of a Hotel, so I didn't feel the service matched the price. The sukiyaki was delicious. It would have been helpful to know in advance that there were no room wear provided.

    Poor cleaning, broken English operator, violating vehicle

    This is my second visit because I had a good experience during my previous stay. First, this time when I entered the room, there was a raw egg on the living floor that hadn't been cleaned. I tried to report this at check-in, but the operator was a foreigner with broken Japanese, and no matter how many times I explained, they didn't understand. In the end, they laughed through their nose and ended the conversation. (I'm not denying foreigners, but if it's a job where you talk to Japanese people, shouldn't they have someone who can communicate in Japanese?) At night, I wanted to carry my luggage from the parking lot, but there were three violating vehicles with Kawasaki, Adachi, and Shonan license plates in the unloading-only space, where parking for more than 20 minutes is prohibited. I called the operator, but the situation didn't improve until morning, so I had to walk in the cold at night to carry my luggage. Personally, I'm fed up. Please use this as a reference if you are considering staying.
