    A wonderful accommodation.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. We stayed here on a family trip with everyone from toddlers to guests in their 70s. Everyone was extremely satisfied and said, “We want to come again!” and “We’d like to recommend it to friends!” The Room facing the river and greenery was spacious and spotless. The sofa, chairs, table, cooking utensils, and tableware were all well prepared. The Onsen was wonderful, and above all, the in-room foot bath was a big hit. The karaoke facilities were also an excellent plus point. We truly enjoyed our stay. We chose the Plan with a meat hors d’oeuvre platter, and it was delicious. They also responded quickly to our questions via LINE with great care, which was very helpful. Thank you again.

    The space was more than sufficient. They responded quickly to my inquiries in advance, which made the stay very pleasant. The foot bath was a great feature. I stayed here on a trip with my friends’ family, and we really enjoyed the karaoke as well—very satisfied overall. This is an Accommodation I would like to use again if I have the chance.

    It was excellent.

    We stayed during the May holidays. It was a comfortable distance from Yugawara Station with great access, and our whole family was very satisfied with our stay. The stylish Room featured a circular footbath and a large table, making it exceptionally comfortable! We were able to spend a special time while being soothed by the sound of the waterfall. Next time, we would love to book a Multiple Night Stay and enjoy an even more relaxing visit.

    Three-Generation Trip

    This was our first stay for a three-generation trip with a baby and children. The foot bath and the Onsen were very relaxing, and we also had a great time with karaoke—an extremely satisfying stay. They replied to our emails quickly, and their service was excellent, so we felt at ease throughout. Thank you very much.

    The footbath is amazing.

    The foot bath in the living room is wonderful. I thought you should patent it. If it has already been patented, I apologize. I think the value for money is incredibly good. My whole family loved it. It would have been perfect if there were a few more towels, including spares.

    Onsen and Accommodation for Your Relaxed Stay

    Stayed with a family of 7, including grandchildren. The sound of the river allowed us to enjoy karaoke without worrying about others, and the grandchildren and children could freely relax in this space. The foot bath in the center of the Room was amazing. The gentle Onsen was enjoyable both with the grandchildren and alone for some quiet time as it is located further back. The second floor was spacious, ensuring a good night's sleep. Dreaming of revisiting while reminiscing about a wonderful year-end stay!

    I had a relaxing stay.

    The renovated old house offers an interesting contrast between the first and second floors. Although earplugs were provided, the sound of the river was not bothersome, allowing for a peaceful rest. We enjoyed karaoke, and especially loved the foot bath. We opted for takeout meals and didn’t use much of the kitchen equipment, but it seemed well-equipped. The TV was FireTV-based, so terrestrial digital broadcasts were not available. For service and hospitality, while there was no direct interaction with staff, bedding and Onsen preparations were well taken care of; hence I rated it 4 out of 5. One concern was bathroom ventilation—it seemed a bit challenging in winter since keeping windows open isn’t feasible. This led to condensation on walls and ceilings causing mold growth. While a zeolite dehumidifier was provided, adding a more powerful compressor-type dehumidifier that allows continuous drainage during summer or winter might be helpful. Overall, my family thoroughly enjoyed the karaoke and foot bath experience. We would love to visit again if we have another opportunity! Thank you very much!

    I was very satisfied.

    We stayed with my sister-in-law's family to celebrate my son's birthday. We were very satisfied with the Facility, kitchen, layout, and bathroom. It was a wonderful trip, and we are truly grateful. We would love to stay again. Thank you!

    【Important Notice】Cars may break down!

    The room was good, but an unavoidable situation occurred where both cars were damaged. There is one parking space next to the room, but due to a dip between the parking lot and the road, the front underside of the car inevitably scrapes against the road when the tire enters this dip!!! One car had a low body, but even with a second car of standard height, the same issue occurred. As a result, both cars scraped their front undersides on the road, and one even had parts come off... (We have photos and received help from the manager of a neighboring building.) Additionally, we were forced to use an external paid parking lot because of this. However, despite informing management about this situation, there was no mention of repair costs for our vehicles or even reimbursement for using external parking. The response was very unsatisfactory and disappointing. It pains me to leave such a review here. However, I decided to write it in hopes that future visitors traveling by car can avoid experiencing similar issues.

    The decor had a traditional Japanese charm and was beautiful. The Onsen was spacious, allowing for a relaxing time. The staff were kind, and I will visit again.

    We had a relaxing stay with our family of 9, including a third-grader and a 2-year-old.

    The exterior felt old, but the interior was spacious and clean. There was a foot bath between the living room and dining area, which everyone enjoyed using together. Towels, dishes, paper products, and other essentials were well-prepared and very helpful. The beds were wide enough to sleep comfortably with children. The futons in the Japanese-style room had thick mattresses that were easy to lay out. The drip coffee was delicious as well. We had a bit of trouble setting up the rice cooker because its inner lid wasn’t properly attached at first. Since it only cooked two cups at a time, we also used the Aladdin toaster oven to cook four cups in total. With many people staying, it would have been more convenient if we could cook four cups at once. As for the bath, we enjoyed relaxing in the Onsen; however, I noticed that water from the washing area might flow into the tub, which concerned me slightly—so I deducted one star for this reason. Although it rained during our stay, we appreciated the great view from the windows and spent peaceful moments indoors. Thank you very much!

    Four-Generation Family Trip

    It was a wonderful Facility. The taxi driver from Yugawara Station recommended a delicious fish shop and tofu shop, allowing us to enjoy great meals. From ages 6 to 90, everyone had fun, making it a memorable family trip. Next year, we plan to visit the bowling alley next door and try the yakitori that was closed this time! We look forward to visiting again next year!

    We stayed at this accommodation with a private onsen for 10 company members. This was our second stay, and we noticed that the interior had been updated since our last visit, making it even more comfortable. The sophisticated space, the compact yet relaxing onsen, and the lively time spent with friends made for another highly satisfying stay. The spacious living room equipped with karaoke was perfect for 10 people without feeling cramped—a fantastic space to enjoy to the fullest. I don't think there are many accommodations like this where such a large group can have a party without any worries. The bedrooms on the second floor might be affected by the sound of the river, but earplugs are provided as amenities, so it’s not an issue. In fact, watching the river flow from the window is soothing and makes you appreciate how its sound adds to this accommodation's charm. Next time, we’d love to try out their BBQ plan currently in development! Enhancing dining options will undoubtedly make staying here even more appealing. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

    Absolutely amazing!!

    Drawn by the concept of a renovated traditional Japanese house, I stayed here and had an unexpectedly wonderful time. The open and refined space on the first floor, which you wouldn't guess from the exterior, felt like a private villa at a travel destination. Surrounded by views of fresh greenery through large windows and the soothing sound of a flowing river, it was truly relaxing for both body and mind. The first-floor space was particularly impressive—retaining the charm of an old house while being modern and comfortable, achieving what can only be described as "perfection." On the other hand, the second floor still showed its age in some areas that caught my attention. However, I look forward to seeing how these aspects might be further improved in the future. The onsen is fed directly from its source with soft water that feels incredibly pleasant. Simply soaking in it melted away all my travel fatigue. Even though temperature adjustments were somewhat manual, this added to the authentic experience of enjoying natural hot springs. As for facilities, while not everything is state-of-the-art, they are more than sufficient to experience living harmoniously with nature. The sound of the river might feel slightly loud at night for some guests; however, I found it more like soothing background music that gently lulled me into restful sleep. Above all else, from pre-arrival inquiries to check-in day itself, staff members provided exceptionally courteous service. They even sent me a highly detailed guide PDF beforehand which made my stay worry-free. This accommodation is perfect for those who value unique experiences over perfection—a place where you can enjoy moments found nowhere else!

    We stayed for 1 nigh...

    We stayed for 1 night and 2 days with 4 adults and 1 infant. The renovated old house surprised us with the contrast between its exterior and interior. The first floor had a luxurious feel, and the greenery view from the dining area along with the sound of the river provided a soothing atmosphere that eased our travel fatigue. However, there were too many disappointing aspects, leading to a critical review: - The onsen was sourced directly from a hot spring but lacked a drain in the bathtub or temperature adjustment function. Temperature control required adding water from the faucet, which was inconvenient. Additionally, there were no partitions or covers between the bathtub and washing area, making it stressful to prevent shower water or soap bubbles from entering. - Overall cleanliness was lacking. Especially on the second floor, where rooms smelled moldy, window screens were covered in brown dust making it unpleasant to open windows. - There are three TVs on the first floor; however, only one could display terrestrial channels. One remote control was stuck between sofa cushions. On top of that, one air conditioner remote (on riverside second floor) was missing and thus unusable. - The refrigerator contained used condiments as well as ice cream and ice labeled "Do Not Use." It’s unclear if these belonged to management staff but felt poorly managed overall—though labeling wine in wine cellars might be acceptable for ambiance purposes; refrigerators should be properly maintained instead! - Sleeping arrangements upstairs proved challenging due both excessive river noise resembling heavy rain disrupting nighttime rest alongside insufficient light-blocking measures limited solely via shoji screens necessitating eye masks against morning brightness glare! While appreciating preservation efforts surrounding traditional aesthetics like old houses themselves perhaps double-glazed windows could help improve comfort levels? From reservation through stay communication remained impressively prompt & courteous raising expectations possibly too high beforehand yet ultimately left disappointed honestly unlikely returning again despite beautiful surroundings sincerely hoping improvements addressed future guests benefit moving forward!

    The perfect place for group stays!

    We stayed here as a family of five again this year. Upon arrival, we were immediately soothed by the foot bath, followed by relaxing in the Onsen. We enjoyed a leisurely meal together in the spacious and stylish kitchen dining area, and later had fun singing karaoke. Despite the heavy rain outside, we created wonderful memories with our reunited family. We look forward to staying here again next year!
