    Wonderful Sauna

    The irori sauna was the best sauna I’ve ever experienced. The sushi for dinner was also very delicious. This is an Accommodation I’d love to visit again if I have the chance.

    It was a very comfor...

    It was a very comfortable stay. Located in the quiet atmosphere of Kita-Kamakura and close to the station, once we stepped into the Accommodation we were able to enjoy a calm, relaxing time that felt removed from everyday life. The building and Room were spotless, and you could feel the attention to detail in the interior design and amenities. With plenty of space to unwind, it’s perfect for not overpacking your sightseeing schedule and truly enjoying your time at the Accommodation itself. The irori sauna and bath were especially memorable, and spending time while taking in the garden greenery and birdsong felt truly luxurious. The staff were also attentive, so we could stay with peace of mind. It was a wonderful Accommodation where you can experience both Kamakura’s serene charm and the special feeling that comes with having it all to yourself. I’d love to visit again in a different season.

    An Accommodation you’ll want to return to in every season.

    I stayed here during Golden Week. Although it’s conveniently located near Kita-Kamakura Station and ideal for sightseeing in Kamakura, once you step inside it becomes a wonderfully quiet, nature-filled retreat. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a relaxing stay while taking in the garden greenery, the sound of water, and birdsong. It’s a place where you can truly unwind and forget the bustle of the city. Throughout the Accommodation, I could feel how thoughtfully everything was designed—even down to what you see and the natural sounds around you. It wasn’t just a place to stay; it was an experience that let us savor the space with all five senses. Everywhere felt comfortable, and I found myself naturally feeling more centered. The spacious irori sauna was especially memorable. More than simply “resetting,” it gave us a luxurious chance to slow down and enjoy unhurried conversation as a family. The sauna itself felt warm and inviting, and we left feeling refreshed both physically and mentally in nature. The building and overall design were beautiful as well. We enjoyed sightseeing during the day, then spent calm, fulfilling time at the Accommodation—making it a wonderful Golden Week memory. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again in another season.

    The Best Kamakura Stay

    We stayed here as a family during Golden Week. Looking to unwind from a busy April, we searched for a quiet place to spend time in the ancient city of Kamakura—and it turned out to be an exceptional stay that far exceeded our expectations. The Facility is new, impeccably clean down to every detail, and fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay. The signature sauna and open-air bath were especially relaxing, and our whole family was able to enjoy unhurried time together. The main house features warm finishes using solid wood and plaster walls, creating a refined Japanese-modern atmosphere. Soft natural light pours in through the large windows, and simply being indoors felt calming and quietly joyful. The furniture and furnishings are clearly chosen with great care—high quality yet never pretentious—resulting in an exquisite sense of comfort. Meanwhile, the detached sukiya-style space offers beautiful shadows and a serene ambiance; being able to move between two distinct spaces is a luxury unique to this Accommodation. Wherever you are, the design feels comfortable and thoughtful, with a quiet aesthetic flowing throughout the entire property. One particularly memorable highlight was breakfast served in the detached sukiya-style building crafted by master temple carpenters. The carefully made rice balls were outstanding, making for an unforgettable moment paired with the stillness of morning air. For dinner, we ordered sushi delivery from a nearby restaurant and enjoyed it leisurely in the main house without worrying about anyone else—another indulgent way to enjoy this Accommodation. On the second morning, bread was prepared for us as well, which we enjoyed with fresh local vegetables and fruit. Above all else, what impressed us most was the beautifully maintained garden beyond the terrace. The planting plan and placement are superbly composed; it seems likely that greenery remains abundant year-round, with seasonal flowers throughout all four seasons. During our stay camellias were in full bloom, and we thoroughly enjoyed the view. As we looked out over the garden while listening to birdsong, everyday concerns naturally faded away and our minds felt gently restored. The large window facing the terrace can be opened—highly recommended for an even more open feeling. There are many temples and shrines nearby that hold National Treasures or Important Cultural Properties; even a casual stroll lets you experience Kamakura’s history and culture. At the same time, choosing not to go out at all—and instead spending quiet time inside with family or close friends—is also one of this Accommodation’s greatest charms. It was such a wonderful stay that I truly want to return again.

    A Hidden Gem in Kita-Kamakura with an Unbeatable Location

    Just a few minutes on foot from Kita-Kamakura Station, I was able to unwind in a luxurious hidden retreat. While enjoying conversation in the irori-style sauna, I refreshed both body and mind, soothed by the songs of Japanese bush warblers and other birds, and spent truly indulgent time. Opening the windows wide lets the contemporary-designed Room blend into nature, bringing an immediate sense of calm. The indoor bath is a hinoki cypress bath. In the outdoor bath, gazing out at the bamboo grove, I lost track of time and felt drawn into Kamakura’s Zen world. It’s also wonderfully convenient and appealing that you can reach this healing sanctuary in under an hour from Shibuya.

    It was the best place to stay.

    This was a wonderfully quiet Accommodation, set in the calm atmosphere of Kita-Kamakura. It didn’t feel like a typical “Accommodation” at all—more like being welcomed into someone’s cherished home. From the moment you step inside, the temperature, the way the light comes in, and even the absence of small noises all reflect a thoughtful care that never feels forced. You can also tell that the staff genuinely love this place. It’s such a lovely Accommodation that visiting only once per season probably wouldn’t be enough!

    Relaxing NIWA

    Interior design, architecture, and travel are hobbies for us as a couple. Since having children, we have spent New Year's holidays at luxury hotels in Okinawa with our relatives. However, this year we decided to change things up and rent an entire property for everyone to stay together. Upon check-in, we received a thorough explanation of the facilities and were even set up to watch TV via projector. Thanks to this setup, we were able to enjoy watching the New Year’s Eve program together as a family. Since the staff was on holiday during New Year's, the owner personally assisted us. We had many conversations with them and learned about their passion for running this rental property—it was truly heartwarming. Breakfast was prepared at our preferred time, so there was no need to wake up early just to make a reservation—we could sleep in and feel relaxed. We especially appreciated being served breakfast during what is typically considered a holiday period when most people prefer not to work. For dinner on the first night, there were several nearby dining options available; we chose Italian cuisine which turned out to be delicious. On the second night, we cooked ourselves using the fully equipped kitchen that made self-catering convenient and enjoyable—especially since it featured an island layout that allowed everyone in the kitchen area not to feel isolated from others. On the third night, we arranged for sushi catering from a visiting chef—a service I had low expectations for based on past experiences elsewhere but ended up being incredibly delicious and satisfying. The living room was exceptionally spacious with beautiful views of lush greenery in the garden—a perfect setting for relaxation. My husband enjoyed indulging in his love of saunas while my daughter and I soaked leisurely in an open-air bath surrounded by Kamakura's natural beauty—the sound of shishi-odoshi (bamboo water fountain) added an extra touch of tranquility that made me feel truly content. The owner seemed fond of fragrances as various scented room diffusers were placed throughout—this attention to detail brought additional joy during our stay. There was also an impressive variety of beverages available; trying different tea flavors added fun moments while staying hydrated! Although we brought plenty of wine ourselves too—the wine stocked in their refrigerator turned out equally delightful! Both the owner and their son played extensively with our child—providing unique hospitality services you wouldn’t find elsewhere—which left us thoroughly satisfied with our experience here. Being conveniently located within easy reach from Tokyo also makes it appealing—we would love another opportunity someday soon!

    Priceless Hotel!

    I have stayed at various hotels both domestically and internationally, but this was the best Hotel. The architecture and decorations are, of course, outstanding, but the irori sauna and outdoor bath with a view of beautiful nature were excellent! The creative design blending Japanese and Western styles constantly stimulated my intellectual curiosity. It made me want to stay in the Hotel without going anywhere else. I visited with my family, and both my wife and child were extremely satisfied. It's great that not only adults but also children can enjoy it here. My entire family said, "We definitely want to come back!" so next time we might visit during the autumn foliage season. This Hotel offers exceptional value beyond its price—truly priceless!

    Family trip

    This time, we stayed with three families (4 adults and 3 children). We felt a sense of attention to detail in every aspect of the interior, tableware, and amenities within the Property, allowing us to refresh ourselves in a sophisticated space. The Room was very spacious, allowing the little children to move around and play freely, which was very satisfying. The sauna was excellent as well; there was a cypress bath in the bathroom where we could enjoy a blissful moment while being soothed by its fragrance. Furthermore, the provided yukata had an excellent texture that made us feel hospitality down to every detail. Additionally, the staff were very warm-hearted and approachable, enhancing our sense of comfort with their friendly demeanor. Their attentiveness ensured that we remained comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast rice balls were large and deliciously filled with carefully selected ingredients from partnered stores. At the end of our stay, one of the staff took a family photo for us, adding another wonderful memory to our experience. Thanks to their meticulous care and comfortable space provided by Stays -> Propertyに修正予定です。, it became an exceptional stay for us. We would definitely like to use it again if given another opportunity.

    You won't want to leave.

    I rented a whole house as a surprise gift for two friends. From the time of Reservation, the consulting, including suggestions and ideas, was thorough, and I felt the hospitality even before visiting the site. From the entrance, there was a sense of excitement and exhilaration, and as soon as we stepped into the residence, my friends jumped for joy. This time, I did not use catering services and instead prepared meals in advance to serve to my friends. The cooking utensils were well-equipped, and I was very satisfied with the cutlery that made the dishes look great. (The quality of the amenities and equipment was also excellent.) We enjoyed preparing together while drinking at the island kitchen, which deepened our friendship. Since it was a whole house rental, there were no other people around, and we could enjoy the sauna and open-air bath without any hesitation in the spacious area. It was definitely more cost-effective than staying at a luxury Hotel, and I think we were able to relax and have a great time. I believe you can enjoy the beauty of each season, so I plan to use it again in a different season.
