    The best villa ever!

    We stayed here for the first time on a birthday trip for my boyfriend, who loves saunas! We travel to many places, but this villa was beyond our expectations—absolutely amazing!! The Room, garden, and sauna were all very spacious and spotless, and the mountain views were incredible!! The BBQ dinner was delicious with excellent ingredients, and the portions were more than satisfying. The sweetfish rice for breakfast was also outstanding! We enjoyed the sauna a lot, and at night we had drinks while enjoying the bonfire and BBQ—it was truly a wonderful time! Above all, the staff’s service was exceptional!! I don’t usually write Reviews, but I wanted to share my gratitude for this wonderful Facility and the amazing staff. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back again, and we look forward to seeing you next time!

    Sauna × Campfire × Starry Sky / The Best Value Accommodation at This Level of Quality

    It was simply the best villa. The spacious Room and thoughtfully selected appliances in each area really stood out. The TV had all the major VOD services like Netflix and YouTube, and we could watch from the kotatsu. All amenities were THREE. The sauna was a perfect size, with just the right temperature, and the cold plunge was ice-cold. (There’s also a Bluetooth speaker, so you can listen to your favorite music inside the sauna.) And the highlight was the bonfire. Drinking wine by the fire at night and looking up at a sky full of stars—it truly felt like an extraordinary escape. The meals were more than generous in portion size, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast! That said, I called reception from the Room a few times via intercom for assistance, but no one answered—perhaps they were busy. Also, only the Onsen-water faucet didn’t produce hot water, so I couldn’t fully enjoy it. Overall though, it was truly amazing! An Accommodation I definitely want to visit again!

    Luxurious Time

    About an hour's drive from Shizuoka City, the journey itself is special as you enjoy views of the mountains and the clear Abe River. Upon arrival, we first stopped by a stylish general store before being warmly guided to our room by the staff. The first thing we enjoyed in our room was the sauna. The scent of green tea-infused steam was incredibly soothing and relaxing. Although I had never experienced the sensation of "sauna bliss" before, I decided to try a cold bath for the first time. The 18°C alkaline spring water felt just right—not too cold—and its silky texture enveloped my skin like lotion. My skin felt so moisturized that no additional care was needed after using the sauna, leaving both my body and mind refreshed and rejuvenated—a truly liberating experience that melted away daily stress. Dinner featured a self-grill style with ingredients pre-prepared in the refrigerator. From beef, pork, chicken to sweetfish (amago), everything was delicious. The tenderness and flavor of beef paired with wasabi soy sauce were especially outstanding. It was delightful to alternate between enjoying meals and relaxing in either the sauna or indoor bath at our own pace. Luxurious amenities from THREE were provided for use, along with plenty of fluffy towels that allowed us to freely repeat cycles of sauna sessions, cold baths, outdoor air baths, and regular bathing without hesitation. Thoughtful touches like sauna ponchos and selectable sauna hats at check-in added extra comfort to our stay. Additionally, chilled water prepared in the refrigerator for hydration during saunas was much appreciated. In the evening, we enjoyed fireworks—a memorable experience free from concerns about smoke or noise often associated with residential areas. The next morning began with making hot sandwiches using bread, cheese, and ham provided beforehand while brewing complimentary coffee available in-room from their shop selection—perfectly suited for an outdoor breakfast amidst refreshing cool summer morning temperatures. Although checkout came slightly earlier than expected; attentive staff ensured it remained smooth—concluding what had been an exceptionally pleasant stay overall. Nature’s beauty combined seamlessly alongside delicious meals; rejuvenating saunas complemented heartfelt hospitality—all elements harmonized perfectly within this wonderful accommodation deserving full marks! We look forward eagerly toward returning again soon!

    Sauna → Cold Bath → Outdoor Relaxation Loop - The Best!!

    I stayed in mid-August. The facility and amenities were very clean, allowing for a comfortable stay. The cold bath and indoor bath use Onsen water, which was perfect. The amenities provided were more than sufficient. The sauna is highly recommended as you can adjust the temperature and humidity to your preference! Almost all tools necessary for daily dining, such as tableware and rice cookers, are available, so you can come almost empty-handed. One small note: when renting the barbecue grill, the gaps in the grill mesh were quite large. Bringing additional mesh or aluminum trays from a 100-yen shop might help prevent food from falling through. I was prepared for insects to some extent but found them fewer than expected during my stay—possibly due to rain beforehand. For those accustomed to mountain climbing or Onsen in nature, the number of insects should be within expectations. Above all else, I deeply appreciated the warm hospitality of the staff through their greetings and send-offs—it made my stay truly pleasant! Highly satisfied!

    Drive-In & Sauna Villa

    Visited Umegashima for the first time. Spacious and open Room with a beautiful garden. Relaxing time can be enjoyed on the deck chairs. The sauna and Onsen provide a refreshing experience for both body and mind. Barbecue meals are said to be popular here. Next time, I’d like to stay for 2 nights and fully unwind!

    Cold Bath

    There were a large number of flying and crawling insects around the cold bath, which has left me with a lasting negative impression of accommodations with saunas.

    I had the most wonderful time with my parents to celebrate my graduation!

    I chose this accommodation because my university graduation also marked the end of my parents' journey of raising me, and I wanted to spend a luxurious and relaxing time with them. As planned, we enjoyed coffee in the spacious garden, indulged in exquisite shabu-shabu, relaxed in the sauna forgetting about time, slept soundly on plush beds, and refreshed ourselves again with a morning sauna... It was truly a luxurious experience. We stayed at the end of March when I thought it might be slightly cold, but the weather was perfect. After spending about 10 minutes in the sauna, we enjoyed dipping into the cold bath followed by an outdoor air bath for complete relaxation! The cold bath used Onsen water which made our skin silky smooth. The amenities from THREE had a wonderful fragrance that brought happiness to both body and mind. The shabu-shabu was incredibly delicious with its rich gamecock broth flavor. Above all else, seeing how happy my parents were made me feel so glad I chose this place. This is an ideal accommodation for significant milestones or special occasions with loved ones. I will definitely come back again! Thank you so much!

    It was excellent.

    It was amazing. We used the Anniversary Plan this time, and the thoughtful service was exceptional. The sauna, of course, was fantastic. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we enjoyed the leftover ingredients at home as well. We visited during winter this time, but we loved it so much that we plan to visit again in summer! Thank you very much!

    Her birthday trip

    I used it for her birthday. The staff's response was really good, and the atmosphere of the Room, including the sauna, was nice! If I had to say, the outdoor bath in winter is freezing, haha. It was a place I wanted to visit again!

    I enjoyed the surreal experience.

    The food is incredibly delicious. We chose shabu-shabu, and the vegetables were beautifully arranged in the pot beforehand, which got us excited even before eating. Dinner is filling enough without any additions. Breakfast is also hearty, so I think men will be very satisfied. We ordered various extras, and since everything was delicious, I want to order early and enjoy them next time. We took the Shinkansen from Tokyo, and it was nice to have a Shuttle Service at the station.

    The Ultimate Sauna Experience

    I visited for the first time at the end of November. I was sure it would be a great place, so I opted for a Multiple Night Stay. The sauna was in the Japanese-style Room, and I was satisfied with its ample space and heat. The cold spring was a single, which was a bit tough, but the other one had hot water with adjustable temperature to suit your preference. There were also ponchos available, and in winter, enjoying an outdoor bath in a poncho was a unique experience for this season. The weather was clear, and at night, if you turn off the Room lights, you can enjoy an outdoor bath under a sky full of stars. The meals were excellent, and I don't think I've ever found BBQ this delicious. The amago paella was also exquisite. It was a Facility I would like to visit again in a different season.

    A unique place. The spring quality, meals, Facility, and hospitality are perfect.

    This time, I revisited for my birthday trip. As an IKYU Diamond member who loves traveling and visits about 40 places a year, this is a unique place and my absolute favorite. First, the Onsen has a pH of 10.3, giving a sensation of floating in a thick lotion. Once you experience it, it overturns your previous experiences with its top-notch, dense quality. During this stay, I took every opportunity to enjoy the bath, haha. The meals were a full course of local produce, including Amago, Suruga Shamo, Okamura beef, Umegashima green tea, and fresh wasabi. The taste of Amago was particularly unforgettable and captivating. Moreover, the Facility is clean and stylish, with perfectly curated amenities and a sauna, offering a luxurious villa experience with no faults. Since it was a birthday trip, I was moved to find a birthday mirror, decorations, and candles in the Room, something I had never seen before. The hospitality of the staff was also excellent, making me wonder if I was visiting to see them. Their warmth and kindness make you want to meet them again. The route from the interchange to the destination offers stunning views of rivers and mountains, with the air becoming increasingly clear and refreshing as you approach. It feels as if a mountain guardian deity resides near the Facility. It truly became a wonderful birthday trip. I will definitely revisit.
