    This was our first trip with our beloved dog, who is like family to us. We were completely satisfied with everything—the clean and beautifully maintained living room, kitchen, bedroom, wood deck, and dog run—and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The water facilities, toilet, and bathroom were also spotless, like new, and very comfortable to use. We would love to visit again soon. Thank you very much.

    A hidden retreat for adults you’ll want to return to again and again

    We stayed during birthday week with five family members, including my elderly mother, my 3-year-old grandchild, and one dog. We had imagined running around with our dog and grandchild in the spacious dog run, but unfortunately it rained both days right in the middle of the rainy season, so our enjoyment of the scenery and activities may have been cut in half. Even so, we were amazed at how fast our dog could run when the rain let up and we were able to use the dog run. We were also glad we could enjoy a BBQ even in the rain on the large covered terrace. In good weather, this place would be an even more satisfying private retreat—with ocean and sunset views while BBQing, a huge dog run, and a comfortable interior—so now we have something to look forward to next time. Inside was spotless down to every corner, and everything we needed was provided: tableware, seasonings, amenities, and pet supplies. We brought our own ingredients this time, but it seems you can also order meals, so we’d love to stay again. It’s an adults’ hideaway that my elderly mother, my grandchild, and our dog could all enjoy—and a place we’d like to visit again and again.

    Amazing! Super relaxing!

    We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and our dog’s recovery. We’ve used many Accommodations, not only around the Kansai area but also as far as Tochigi and Chiba, and this place stood out. The Room and the dog run were spotless, and above all, the amenities were exceptionally well stocked—from tableware to the kitchen setup to even a vacuum cleaner—so we felt completely at ease. The surroundings were quiet, and true to its name, the sunset view was truly magical. It helped us forget our everyday routine and feel refreshed. The BBQ meal was plentiful, and we were very satisfied with everything—the thickness of the Awaji beef and the sweetness of the onions in particular. Most of all, a few days before our stay they contacted us and provided careful guidance. Even though we made a mistake on the day by accidentally going to the wrong Room due to an unfortunate series of coincidences, they handled it kindly. Even though it was our fault, their thoughtfulness was outstanding. We are truly grateful. Both the Facility environment and the staff’s hospitality were soothing. We would love to come back for a Multiple Night Stay. This was the most comfortable Accommodation we have ever stayed at. Thank you very much.

    We stayed here this ...

    We stayed here this time with my son and his wife, our two grandchildren, and two dogs. We stayed about 20 days ago and it was so wonderful that we made a Reservation right away. Since we rented both cottages, the dog run was spacious and our dogs were thrilled. The kids also had a great time playing with water guns. Once again, the shabu-shabu was delicious and more than enough (laughs). My son and his wife also loved it, saying it was a very clean vacation rental. We’ll definitely come back again. Thank you very much.

    Exclusive Use of Two Buildings

    This was our third stay and our first time renting both buildings. We stayed with relatives. Because our dogs don’t get along and we wanted to avoid any trouble, we asked in advance to have the partition door between the two buildings unlocked but kept closed, so only people could go back and forth. For meals, we had BBQ in each building and sukiyaki. We bought extra ingredients such as seafood for the BBQ, so there was a little left over. For the sukiyaki, we also received some food from a neighbor, so there was a little left over as well. We finished everything at breakfast the next morning. We played in the dog run with a great view, and in the clean Room both our family and relatives had a wonderful time and made great memories. If you open the partition door fully, it becomes one very large dog run where everyone in your group can enjoy spending time together. Renting both buildings is highly recommended!

    Spectacular Views

    I had read the Reviews and also confirmed by phone, but the slope was so steep it was scary—much more than I imagined. My car scraped... On the other hand, the view was breathtaking, and the sea lit by the sunset felt like I had wandered into another world... The dog run was just the right size for our Pomeranian, and he looked so happy walking around. In fact, before coming here he had paralysis and couldn’t even stand, so it felt like a miracle!! What was disappointing was that the Room floor didn’t seem very dog-friendly; it was so slippery that he couldn’t walk. We didn’t add meals, but it seems restaurants around here close early, so be careful. Luckily, we found a place that prepared sashimi and wine for us even outside business hours—we were fortunate.

    An Accommodation where you can relax with your dog while enjoying ocean views

    Upon entering the Room, a breathtaking ocean view unfolded beyond the window. Along with the stunning scenery, the spacious Room and garden made this Accommodation perfect for spending time with our dog. Even with four adults, we were able to relax comfortably. The cleaning was thorough, and everything was spotless. The BBQ Plan meal was extremely delicious, and we were very satisfied. We could truly enjoy an extraordinary getaway, and we would love to visit again.

    We stayed with two adults and two dogs. As mentioned in the Reviews, we panicked when the tires spun on the uphill slope at the entrance. We managed to make it up, but it seems tough on rainy days. That was about the only downside—otherwise, this is an amazing vacation rental. We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals in Awaji, and this one was truly great. You can go straight from the living room to the dog run, and it’s nice being able to watch our dogs running around from inside. Many places require you to step outside first to get to the dog run. The shabu-shabu dinner was excellent in both quantity and taste. We were able to relax while watching various boats pass by, and both the sunset and sunrise were beautiful. Our two dogs were thrilled from the moment we arrived, running around happily—it was easy to see how much they were enjoying it. The Room was also spotless and very well cleaned. Next time, we’d like to rent two cottages with our son and his wife and connect the dog runs so everyone can play together. We’ll definitely be back again. It was truly wonderful—thank you very much.

    The Room is clean an...

    The Room is clean and well stocked with amenities, making for a very comfortable stay. If possible, it would be even better to have wet wipes available for wiping a dog’s paws. The slope in front is quite tight for large one-box vans and similar vehicles, and it can feel risky unless you’re very confident driving. Also, traveling with a dog can be hectic, so we would appreciate it if checkout could be 11:00.

    Your First Trip with Your Dog

    This was our first overnight stay with our dog. I’m so glad we trusted everyone’s Reviews! It was the first time I’d ever seen such a happy face, and I had a wonderful time too. Not only was the Room spotless, but the Facility was excellent—we wanted to book a Multiple Night Stay. We were also very satisfied with the BBQ. We’ll definitely stay again.

    This was our first trip traveling with our dog. I saw in a Review that the slope was steep and was worried, and it really was steep, but we were able to manage it without any issues. The dog run was spacious, clean, and great. We had a wide view of the ocean, it was quiet, and it was perfect!! The yakiniku set was also just the right amount. We’d love to come back again.

    A Facility where you can relax with your dog

    This was my first stay here. I’ve stayed at many places that allow dogs, and this Accommodation was also very relaxing—I'd love to stay again. What I liked It was clean and had a lovely atmosphere. It gets chilly in the morning and evening, and since we had a small dog, the underfloor heating was especially appreciated. The road up from the main road to the Accommodation is a steep slope, but it’s paved and we had no trouble driving up. There were plenty of dog amenities—so much so that we didn’t need to bring anything except food and treats. It was spacious enough even for large dogs. The view from the bedroom was amazing. What could be improved A few of the provided supplies were almost empty when we arrived. They brought replacements right away after I called, but it would be helpful if there were an extra spare for each item. BBQ on the terrace was cold because it was windy; having wind-blocking curtains would probably make it much more comfortable. Some of the provided seasonings were from last year—I might have used them if I hadn’t noticed. I hoped to see the sunset from the Room, but a tree blocked the view (it may depend on the season). [Request] This is just my personal wish, but I’d be thrilled if there were something like a massage chair in the spacious living area (haha). We went grocery shopping by car in the evening after arriving. A small nearby supermarket often seemed out of stock, but a larger supermarket about 20 minutes away had everything. There’s also a FamilyMart near the Facility.

    The Perfect Hideaway

    This was our second stay with our dog. Our first visit was so wonderful that we made another Reservation right away. The outstanding location right in front of you and the beautiful night view were amazing, and just like last time, the rooms were spotless. We especially love the underfloor heating throughout the bedroom, living room, and bathroom—our dog loves it too! The amenities and pet supplies were also very well stocked, with nothing missing. This time we chose the BBQ course, so we checked in early and enjoyed it at a relaxed pace as a slightly late lunch. The meat was tender, and there was more than enough food. On the terrace, listening to Japanese bush warblers and other small birds while relaxing with our dog, we were able to spend a truly lovely time. We would love to stay again next time.

    Clean and well-maintained

    There were no unpleasant odors, and we had a very comfortable stay. We could see the terrace from the Room, so we really enjoyed the barbecue. The selection of plates and other items was great, and we had a fun stay overall. Cleanliness is always my biggest concern, so I’d love to stay here again. You can stay with peace of mind. Thank you very much. One request: it would be helpful if a hair iron were available.

    Second stay

    Last year, when we stayed here for the first time with our family of four and two dogs, everything was wonderful—the Room, the dog run, and the meal (Sukiyaki Plan)—so we came back again. The Room is spotless and feels so comfortable. We’re truly impressed by how well it’s maintained. For meals, we chose sukiyaki again this time. The portions were more than enough, and it was absolutely delicious. Whenever we travel to Awaji Island with our dogs, this is where we’ll stay. We’re already having a family meeting about when to come next.

    Everything was comfortable!

    The room was spacious, and it was thoroughly cleaned down to every corner—very clean and comfortable. The kitchen, amenities, furniture, and other provided items were also very well stocked, with nothing to complain about. Having separate toilets for men and women was also a great plus! Next time I come to Awaji Island, I’d love to watch the sunset from here again while seeing my dog happily playing.

    I felt relaxed, just like being at home.

    The room was very spacious, clean, and absolutely perfect. There was no hassle of waiting during check-in or check-out, and it was very convenient as there was no need to carry luggage through elevators like in a hotel. The two sinks in the bathroom were also great as there was no need to share. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the amenity brush—it’s rare to see such a good type compared to the simple ones I’ve seen before. The room itself was large, and even our dog felt relaxed as if at home. The size of one bedroom felt comparable to a twin-sized room in an ordinary hotel. Since we chose a meal-inclusive plan, it came with 2 cups of rice. I thought about making rice balls for breakfast with any leftovers but realized there wasn’t any salt available—having some would have been nice! Also, my nail broke during my stay, so having nail clippers would have been helpful too (though this might have been mentioned somewhere). Still, everything overall was fantastic and deserves five stars! We visited during a cold season so we didn’t use the dog run area but would love to come back again when it’s warmer. It truly was comfortable—thank you for providing such a wonderful experience! It became a great memory for us.

    First Trip

    First trip with our dog. The open space made it enjoyable for our dog, even in a new environment. We chose BBQ for the meal, but it was too cold to do it outside, so we ended up having a standing meal indoors (under the ventilation fan). Even so, we enjoyed the delicious food in a different setting than usual. However, we were looking forward to the thick-cut bacon listed on the BBQ menu, which unfortunately wasn’t included—this was disappointing. Other than that, everything was perfect and we had a meaningful time. We’d love to visit again!

    It was our first tri...

    It was our first trip to celebrate our dog's 1st birthday. The place was spacious, clean, and had an amazing ocean view! Everything was perfect. Our dog was so excited and overjoyed. We requested sukiyaki for dinner, which was delicious and just the right amount to satisfy us. However, we thought it would have been nice to have rice as well—next time we'll bring some ourselves! The udon provided was sufficient though. The dishes and kitchenware were cute and lovely, with everything we needed perfectly prepared, including cleaning supplies. There were also dog sheets and manners wear available, so nothing was lacking for our pet's needs. Since we only stayed for one night, we wished we could have had a Multiple Night Stay instead. We even talked about how wonderful it would be if this were our home! We definitely want to visit again in the future. Thank you so much!!

    Solo travel after all

    The trip was originally planned as a family vacation, but due to unexpected circumstances such as a parent's hospitalization and an infant's fever, it turned into a solo trip. The space felt too large for just one person (laughs). The restrooms are separated by gender, so it's convenient for group use. One minor issue was the lack of towels near the kitchen after use; it would be helpful to have towels placed next to the sink. The living room and bedroom feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows, offering an incredible view! I expected complete darkness at night, but the night view of Honshu was unexpectedly beautiful. We used the larger area in the back since we had many people, but I wondered if the front side might offer a better view of the night scenery. Overall, it was a highly satisfying trip. **Cons:** - The entrance from the main road is initially hard to find. - Although short, the road from the main road to the Facility is narrow with steep slopes and curves; low-clearance vehicles may scrape their underside. **Pros:** - Close proximity to roadside stations and major facilities on Nishikaigan (West Coast). - Convenience stores are just a few minutes away by car. - On your way back to Honshu, you can stop by Awaji Island SA using Smart Interchange (note that you cannot access Awaji Island SA from Awaji Island IC).

    Had the best trip with my beloved dog.

    We stayed here for our first overnight trip with our beloved dog and family of five. The location offers an outstanding view of the Seto Inland Sea right in front of you, the rooms were very spacious and clean, and the facilities were fully equipped with everything we needed. The bedroom, bath, and toilet were all extremely satisfying. We reserved the BBQ course, and the meat was tender with more than enough portions. We would love to visit again with our dog at least once a year!

    We had an extraordinary experience.

    The location, facility comfort, and amenities were all excellent. We stayed for two nights; on the first night, we had a BBQ on the terrace, and on the second night, we were served sukiyaki with very delicious meat in generous portions.

    We had a comfortable stay with our dog and family.

    Every summer vacation, my family and I, along with our newly adopted dog since the day before yesterday, have traveled to Awaji Island and stayed at various Hotels and cottages. However, this stay was by far the most comfortable experience we've ever had. Thank you so much. The design of the Room, the number of utensils provided, the variety and quantity of amenities that were thoughtful for both humans and dogs, as well as features like the indoor dog run—all were highly satisfying. The location was also perfect; just down the hill was the sea, and we could enjoy a view of it from our Room. It offered excitement for both children and adults alike. We will definitely stay here again. It became a wonderful memory for us. Thank you!

    A Taste of Foreign Lands Nearby

    Thank you for your hospitality the other day. The beautiful exterior, spacious interior, natural grass dog run, and covered barbecue space were all exceptional. The barbecue offerings, including flavorful beef and a variety of vegetables, were perfectly balanced and left nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, the rain was a bit disappointing. Despite maintenance being done a month ago, we left noticeable tire marks on the steep curve. However, we appreciate that improvements to the second parking lot are underway. This Facility is definitely one we will revisit!

    The Room and the view were excellent.

    Stayed on a sunny day. The scenery was great, and it seemed like our dog enjoyed it too. Although meals were self-catered and not subject to evaluation, the thoughtful touches such as drinks in the refrigerator, amenities for dogs, cooking utensils, and tableware were well-prepared, allowing for a pleasant stay. Located on the west coast of Awaji Island with many nearby spots to visit, I would love to come back again. Thank you for your hospitality!

    I had a comfortable stay and enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay. The Facility provided a relaxing atmosphere, allowing me to unwind completely. There was no noticeable smell from dogs, which was great. However, there are a few points of concern: the road signage could be made clearer, and the steep narrow slope at the entrance becomes challenging during rain or when covered with fallen leaves. It feels unsafe for descending as well. Although there is a warning about low-clearance vehicles, it seems difficult for such cars to pass through as the width is very narrow—just enough for small trucks. I managed with my four-wheel drive but recommend improving that area as it detracts from an otherwise excellent location. There were some minor cleanliness issues: debris remained in the Dyson vacuum cleaner, and dog waste was found on the lawn in front of the bedroom—it seemed left by previous guests' pets and I hesitated to clean it myself. Additionally, there was some pink mold under the bathroom door; however, other water areas were spotless and felt very hygienic. The kitchenware and dog amenities were adorable and impressively well-stocked—truly thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience! If improvements are made to the entrance road area, I would definitely love to return again. The staff greeted us warmly with smiles which added to our positive experience. Apologies for writing so much! The building design, Facility features, and overall ambiance deserve full marks—they are truly stylish and soothing spaces!

    Excellent!

    The parking lot is conveniently located right next to the building, making it easy to carry luggage. Check-in and check-out were smooth using a tablet. The facility is spacious with no sense of confinement, allowing both us and our dog to relax comfortably. The cleanliness was impeccable, and having a vacuum cleaner and cleaning items available was perfect for someone like me who values hygiene. While the kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of utensils and dishes, there are no seasonings provided (which wasn’t an issue as I prefer bringing my own). Having two restrooms was a big plus! The amenities for dogs were excellent—large cages, cute patterned scented sheets, two bowls in different sizes, various sizes of dog diapers, etc. There was even an adorable photo space at the back of the bedroom! The view from both the living room and bedroom offered stunning scenery that felt extraordinary. We didn’t use the outdoor grill or BBQ area this time but noticed they were clean with spacious tables; we discussed trying BBQ during our next visit! As for access to the accommodation (narrow roads with steep curves), we had no issues navigating in our Alphard vehicle; however, larger or lower vehicles might find it challenging. There’s nothing negative to mention about this accommodation! If anything could be added: dog shampoo and dryer, a full-length mirror, hairbands among women’s amenities would be nice touches. Everything deserves full marks—it’s an amazing accommodation. Next time we’d love to visit with meals included! Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for our family!

    It was relaxing.

    We had a relaxing stay, and our dog seemed to enjoy it as well. The 2:00 PM check-in time is also convenient. There are restaurants and parks nearby, about a 10-minute drive, where you can go with your dog, making the location ideal. We would love to visit again in a different season. Thank you very much!
