The worst accommodation, very uncomfortable. Not worth the money.
- Everything is dirty and unsanitary. The ventilation ducts are completely black, and the air conditioner is covered in dust even before reaching the filter. It makes you wonder how many years it has been since they last cleaned. The sofa looks so faded and dusty in the corners that it makes you question if they brought in trash instead of furniture. The kitchen sponge is pitch black, emitting a noticeable foul odor even from a distance—how many years have they been using this sponge? The water dispenser is also dusty with visible fingerprints all over it. It's evident that no attention has been paid to hygiene or cleaning of the facility at all. - Although advertised as having private Onsen sauna facilities, the main Onsen sauna area is completely visible to passing fishermen or guests from nearby camping sites using the footbath outside—there's absolutely no sense of privacy. There are no curtains or blinds provided; instead, old rusty partitions are available for self-installation, which are filthy and unhygienic—a hassle to set up as well. The floor of the Onsen feels slimy and unpleasant. - Despite being fully exposed from outside while using the Onsen sauna, there are no bathrobes provided—not even pajamas available for use. This was my first experience where I had to be so conscious about being seen by others while trying to enjoy an Onsen sauna. - From completing the reservation until check-in, there was no information provided about the facility at all. Even during check-in, multiple calls were made but went unanswered; when finally connected, I had to ask for a key code over phone—a frustrating wait. - This accommodation does not belong in any luxury category whatsoever. For ¥160,000 per night? It’s nothing short of extortionate pricing. This experience made me question IKYU’s screening standards—not only will I never return to this accommodation again but also lost trust in IKYU entirely. Incidentally, their original Airbnb reservation page seems to have disappeared now—it raises suspicions. Despite this fact though—they present themselves on IKYU.com as if they're offering luxury accommodations—it felt like complete deception. For IKYU.com to list such poorly managed facilities with zero hospitality... There’s nothing luxurious nor comfortable here—just an unbelievably unsanitary accommodation!

Moving forward, we will work on creating an environment where you can feel more secure by improving visibility measures and equipment conditions as well as providing clearer guidance on these aspects. We also regret any inconvenience caused due to insufficient guidance or communication upon arrival. We will strive to improve our support system from reservation through the stay process. The ultimate relaxation facility!!
We stayed for one night as a group of five friends. From the first floor to the rooftop, every room offered an ocean view with a stunning horizon, and the interior was stylish and calming. The breathtaking scenery could be enjoyed at any time of day! The sauna on the first floor was spacious enough for five people, with adjustable temperature settings and a löyly feature. The baths, both Onsen and cold water, were also large enough for all five of us to enjoy together comfortably. Being on the first floor near the sea not only provided amazing views but also allowed us to relax with the natural sound of waves as background music—a perfect relaxation space. Since it was exclusively ours during our stay, we appreciated being able to adjust not just air conditioning and lighting but even Onsen and sauna temperatures without worrying about others. In addition to amenities like toiletries, there were convenient facilities such as speakers, a water server, and hair dryers available. Until just before check-out time, everyone kept saying they didn’t want to leave because we had such an incredible experience! We would love to stay here again. However: - The refrigerators were only on the 1st and 2nd floors while the kitchen was on the 2nd floor; this made preparing BBQs on the rooftop slightly inconvenient. It would be great if freezers could be added too. - There were only two long sauna mats available; having more or individual ones would make it easier for groups larger than five. - Foot mats near water areas would be helpful when stepping out into hallways. - Be cautious about forgetting to stop filling up hot water in bathrooms near entrances—it might overflow into dressing rooms!

A luxury facility for adults you'd want to visit again.
The Facility was even more sophisticated and beautiful than I had imagined from the photos, and I’m so glad I visited! We had a BBQ on the rooftop, where the breeze was pleasant. Even though it was late July in the middle of summer, we were able to enjoy our time comfortably. The rooftop had a kitchen and all necessary equipment, allowing us to cook both upstairs and downstairs—this was very convenient! A supermarket was also just a short drive away. During the BBQ, my friends and I looked up at the night sky and saw countless stars. We ended up turning off the rooftop lights and spent about 30 minutes gazing at them—a memory that remains vivid in my mind. It might have been my first time seeing such a stunning starry sky. I had high expectations for the sauna, but it exceeded them! There were 8 of us using it, with 4 infinity chairs available. The sauna space was spacious enough for everyone to use smoothly without waiting too long (we could even make "Oropo" drinks in the fridge). The cold bath water helped us refresh instantly... Plenty of towels were provided as well, so we enjoyed morning baths and saunas while watching the sunrise. The sauna and bath area are located on the first floor; however, there may be some stairs when moving between spaces like the living room or rooftop. I would love to visit again during another season!
