    Changed plans from Kouri Island to Sesoko Island (due to a typhoon).

    Due to the typhoon, it became difficult to stay on Kouri Island. Even after arriving in Okinawa, power outages and other issues meant we were ultimately guided to an Accommodation on Sesoko Island. Above all, the staff in charge were truly wonderful and kept us informed in advance by email and phone. We looked for other places as well, but we still wanted to stay here and held out until the very last minute. We couldn’t stay on Kouri Island, but they arranged Sesoko Island for us, and we had a fulfilling trip. The Accommodation was on Sesoko Island, but I’m sure Kouri Island is also amazing without a doubt. The pool, the Facility, and the staff—everything was excellent!

    So relaxing—absolutely wonderful!

    I stayed for one night. The Facility was clean, and the place was very spacious—with a 1st-floor living room, a 2nd-floor bedroom, and a rooftop—so I could relax a lot. As for the “bugs” others mentioned, I don’t think they were much of an issue. (That said, there are some, so if you really hate bugs, please be aware.) The Room had an electric insect repellent and insect spray provided, and I felt they did what they could to be considerate. Self check-in was clear and easy. Regarding the shower partition: it’s true there isn’t one, but I was able to use it without soaking the sink area. There was no drain odor either. If I could suggest one improvement, the Room Wi-Fi was a bit unstable and it made working on my laptop slightly difficult. Mobile reception is also somewhat weak in this area, so Wi-Fi is essential—if possible, I’d appreciate improvements. (This is why I rated the Facility 4 stars.) Overall I’m very satisfied and think it’s great value for money. Next time I’d like to stay in a different Room too!

    The shower!

    As mentioned in other guests’ Reviews, there is no partition for the shower, so the entire washroom gets soaked, and it feels unpleasant to walk around barefoot. There is also a strong odor from the drain, so I would like to see this improved. If these issues are addressed, I would definitely stay again—the pool is spacious and has good depth.

    Love Okinawa!

    I first discovered Okinawa two years ago, and this was my 13th visit—my first time on the main island. I wanted to visit Kouri Island, so I chose my Accommodation through the site and decided on Villa KAP A without hesitation. The Room design and cleanliness really came through in the photos on other sites. It was a wonderful Room, exactly as I had imagined. The female staff member who assisted us at check-in was also very pleasant and made a great impression. There were plenty of complimentary drinks provided, the bedroom was clean, and both the ocean view from the second floor and the rooftop scenery were absolutely breathtaking. I’ve already decided that I’ll be staying here again next July as well. Thank you in advance.

    The bathroom was extremely disappointing. There was no partition at all in the shower room, so water splashed onto the washing machine and sink, making the layout very inconvenient. Also, the smell coming up from the drain was quite strong.

    Prime Location

    We stayed for a multiple night stay on the last days of our Okinawa trip. The accommodation is situated on a slope overlooking Kouri Bridge, offering breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace. We went out to the terrace several times a day to enjoy the colors of the sea shimmering in the sunrise and sunset. Fortunately, we had clear skies throughout our 2-night, 3-day stay, allowing us to fully appreciate the beauty of Kouri Island. The building's white base must require significant upkeep, but it was impeccably maintained without a single stain in sight. The variety of drinks provided in the room and abundance of towels were also much appreciated. The pool was spacious and deep enough for comfortable swimming in both mornings and evenings, which helped alleviate any lack of exercise during our trip. While food delivery might be an option depending on providers, we opted to purchase groceries from nearby supermarkets this time and found it convenient enough. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating; they even allowed us an early check-in, which was very helpful. Whenever we stay on Kouri Island, we usually drive around searching for beautiful locations; however, this villa’s stunning view alone made our stay more than satisfying—it was both comfortable and enjoyable! We look forward to staying here again for another multiple night stay next time. Thank you very much!

    Best stay during my trip to Okinawa! Great location, passionate staff, and an amazing pool. My family and I had a wonderful time here. We already miss this place and will definitely return in the future!
