    We were extremely satisfied! Here are some tips to help you enjoy your stay even more.

    We stayed in Building D, which is pet-friendly. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. There’s honestly nothing to criticize, so here are a few tips to help you enjoy your stay even more. Jacuzzi / Open-air bath / Pool: 　Bringing a swimsuit is recommended. Stink bugs (currently a large outbreak): 　It’s helpful to bring sticky tape for removal. Bakery: 　There’s a great bakery nearby. Amenities: 　High-quality POLA amenities are provided, so you only need to bring the basics. To fully enjoy it: 　You’ll probably want to stay two nights. Appliances: 　Most appliances are available, but there doesn’t seem to be an air fryer (probably). Shirarahama Beach: 　It’s just under 2 km away—slightly far. Dogs aren’t allowed on Shirarahama Beach, which is disappointing, but the beauty of the beach is amazing.

    A private annex—the perfect choice for group trips.

    The spaciousness is impressive. The Onsen water flows properly, and it’s amazing that the Rooms on the second floor are also very spacious and come with an Onsen. The Onsen was pleasantly moisturizing with a slight saltiness. There were more than enough beds, and we loved how much space there was. It’s a stylish, airy, comfortable space—if you gather with relatives or friends, just seeing the Rooms will get everyone excited! The pool is large too. At this price point, I haven’t found any other place with this level of Facility, so I think it’s a great deal for large groups on weekdays or in the off-season. The sauna didn’t get very hot (no löyly), so if you’re a sauna lover it might feel a bit lacking. Be aware that there are no seasonings provided. We ordered dinner and breakfast, but it might be good to pick up extra items at nearby Toretore Market as well. The sukiyaki beef was outstanding. Breakfast may feel underwhelming for the price. There were no trays, so carrying food from the kitchen to the living room took some time. Some Rooms didn’t have trash bins, and there were no small trash bags in the kitchen either, so bringing your own is convenient. Personally, I also loved the Japanese-style Room on the third floor—it was a wonderful space for meditation and relaxation. Crystal Villa in Miyakojima was great too, but being able to enjoy Shirahama and the Kumano Kodo made me feel Wakayama is an underrated gem. Hoping for sunny weather next time! This is a villa I’d love to visit again.

    Hot water

    The appliances, amenities, and the Room were all very good. The only thing I would like you to review is that no hot water came out of the indoor bath no matter how long I waited... I stood there naked under a cold shower waiting for it to turn hot. It never did, so I gave up. I think this would be tough in midwinter. Everything else was wonderful. It was just disappointing that the hot water system didn’t work.

    Stay with your furry friend! A truly wonderful villa!

    We stayed at the accommodation to celebrate my husband's birthday with our dog. The room was pet-friendly, but it was impeccably clean with no odor at all—very hygienic and comfortable! The onsen with natural hot spring water and the authentic sauna were incredibly relaxing for us as well. Thank you so much! For dinner, we had ordered Kumano beef sukiyaki and added matsutake mushrooms that we bought from a nearby supermarket. The quality and quantity of the meat were just right, and it was absolutely delicious! Since it was a birthday celebration, we brought a nice bottle of wine, but unfortunately, the glasses provided were plastic instead of crystal—that was a bit disappointing. Next time we'll bring our own glasses! (Haha) The spacious room made our dogs happy too—they looked so content. Definitely coming back again!!

    We stayed at the accommodation with our two dogs for my husband's surprise birthday. The satisfaction with the accommodation was excellent, and we are especially grateful for the wonderful service provided by the staff at Shirahama General Information Front Desk. The birthday decorations we requested in advance for the surprise B.D stay were absolutely amazing and deeply moving. We apologize for making such a request during your busy schedule.     A Cozy Cottage Experience

    Although we had some trouble finding our way, the accommodation was incredibly comfortable, featuring a sauna, open-air bath, and jacuzzi that we thoroughly enjoyed. The meal was a chicken hot pot, and while delicious, the portion size was quite generous for an elderly couple. Overall, it was a relaxing and peaceful experience where we could unwind without any worries.

    First Stay

    I made a reservation for an accommodation where I could enjoy a sauna with my beloved dog. On the day, check-in was smooth, and without any complicated procedures, we could go to our room right away, which was great. First of all, I was satisfied with the new building smell, cleanliness, and well-equipped facilities! The sauna was properly heated, and the cold bath was sufficiently cold; I used it multiple times. Our dog seemed happy too, so we are thinking of coming back next year! Thank you very much.

    It was great.

    Last year, we stayed at Crystal Villa Miyakojima, and this year we chose Crystal Villa Shirarahama. The best feature here was definitely the Onsen connected to the steam bath. You can enjoy the Onsen at your preferred temperature 24 hours a day. With a sauna also available, you can spend an entire day at the villa without needing to go to the beach. The bedrooms in each room were slightly inconvenient in design, but the beds were large and comfortable.

    I went on a birthday trip!

    I stayed for one night to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday trip! It was truly amazing! The Room itself was spacious, clean, and smelled wonderful. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna, open-air bath, and screen were all fantastic! The amenities were well-equipped! As a girl, I especially loved the ReFa hairdryer and showerhead. The staff also took care of cleaning up for us, making our departure easy and stress-free. The Room was so large that we even played hide-and-seek—it was that spacious and wonderful! For dinner, we chose pork shabu-shabu, which was delicious! However, those with big appetites might find it a bit insufficient. But the highlight of all was experiencing the sauna followed by a dip in the pool and then relaxing with an outdoor air bath—that experience was absolutely incredible! Even though it was cloudy during our stay, it didn’t bother us at all because everything else made up for it perfectly. It truly is a beautiful space where I had such an amazing experience that I genuinely want to visit again from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much!!!

    Highly Rated Accommodation

    Clean and spacious room and terrace as shown in the photos. The kitchen is equipped with cooking tools, along with kitchen paper and plastic wrap. The dining chairs and living room sofa were very comfortable. The Onsen on the terrace is a ceramic bath where you can fill it yourself with natural hot spring water. The jacuzzi and pool are open-air, while the barbecue area has a covered space. There’s a unique coffee shop across from the villa, but other shops are quite far away. It was quiet and relaxing. A wonderful accommodation I’d love to visit again!

    It was really great.

    This was my first stay, and it was the best I’ve ever had. It felt like an incredibly luxurious space—however, it was very disappointing to find popcorn on the floor that we hadn’t eaten, a beer bottle cap we hadn’t used, and some dust. There was a cordless vacuum so we could clean ourselves, which is nice, but it had no charge at all, so we had to charge it first. Since we didn’t choose the drink bar option, only water was provided in the refrigerator. We stayed for two nights, so it wasn’t nearly enough. There were more than enough towels and amenities. On the first day, due to unfortunate rain, a hot plate was prepared indoors for BBQ. However, the heat was far too weak and took too long to cook, so we used a frying pan instead. Also, placing the cord on top of the hot plate didn’t feel good. For BBQ on day 1 and shabu-shabu on the night of day 2, there wasn’t nearly enough food (especially meat), so we bought extra meat ourselves. On the morning of day 2, breakfast was delivered on time. I overslept and called them, and they kindly brought it again—I’m truly sorry about that. The service and responsiveness were excellent overall, so I would like to stay again.

    It was enjoyable even for two people.

    It was my first time using a villa, and I thought it would be wonderful to come with multiple people like friends or parents. With just the two of us as a couple, it was enjoyable but a bit too spacious. We stayed in Building E with the Kue Nabe Plan. ■ Guest Room As seen in the photos, it is very clean. The cleaning is thorough. ■ Service The check-in location is inconveniently far. It's understandable since it also serves as the reception for other villas, but it's a bit challenging without a car. However, for check-out, you can call, and they will come to collect the key, making it very convenient to leave directly. ■ Onsen The quality of the spring water is good, and we enjoyed it comfortably. The onsen, jacuzzi, and pool were all clean. We used the pool a little after the sauna. ■ Facility The sauna felt a bit low in temperature even when set to the maximum, but since it was private, and we could do löyly, we were satisfied. However, the steps and exits to the outdoors throughout the house felt a bit high. It might be a little dangerous for small children or the elderly. ■ Meal It might be due to my personal taste, but the Kue Nabe didn't feel worth the price. The portion is sufficient. At this price, I think dining out would be better. A BBQ with a large group would probably be ideal.

    Family Trip

    It was our first family trip with 12 people and 2 pets. We couldn't split the cost evenly, so we had to be prepared for the accommodation expenses. The property was white, spacious, and beautiful. When we stepped in, we heard cheers from all around. Seeing the happy smiles made us feel delighted too. We drank late into the night in the spacious living room with BGM playing on the big screen. By that time, we had already decided to come back next year. With four bedrooms, everyone could sleep at their own pace. There were two washrooms, a shower room, a sauna, a jacuzzi, an onsen with flowing water, and even a pool. The kids enjoyed it to the fullest. There were amenities for children too. Considering the accommodation cost, it might be expected, but the thoughtfulness was appreciated. If I could make one request, it would be to have a dog run on the rooftop for the pet-friendly building, as there wasn't one.

    This time, we were able to use the pool. Although the weather was unfortunate, we were able to spend a relaxing time. When I inquired about the content on the IKYU site, I received a very generous response, for which I am grateful. Thank you very much. Our dog is also getting used to coming here and is relaxing as if at home. We enjoyed a one-night stay with the whole family. We would like to visit again.

    I was surprised beca...

    I was surprised because the reception was in a different location! It would be helpful to receive an email notification that the reception is at the visitor center near Adventure World. The Facility was clean and I was satisfied. However, please be careful when opening the sauna door from the outside, as for some reason, your heels might get caught. As for the service... I think those who can judge from the photos will be able to. I stayed for two nights, and even if the Room is not cleaned, it would be nice if at least the combustible trash could be collected since there is cooking of perishable items.
