We stayed here for a family celebration. Although we arrived much later than planned, you responded quickly and prepared our meal without delay. The Room was very spacious and clean, and we had a very comfortable stay! The bath and sauna were also excellent! The food was delicious! When we contacted you about breakfast, you came right away. We apologize for the inconvenience during your busy morning hours. Breakfast was also very tasty! We would definitely like to stay again!!

The skewered dishes from dinner that we couldn't finish were kindly prepared as steamed dishes with eel and scallops for breakfast. We had a wonderful time enjoying the conversation while being served the skewers. Since there aren't many shops nearby, it would be nice to have a few snacks to go with drinks.

A Relaxing Accommodation You Must Visit Once
A private accommodation where you can experience a feeling of time travel. With well-equipped facilities such as a sauna, open-air bath, and fire pit, you'll enjoy such a wonderful time that you won't want to leave from check-in to check-out. We chose the plan where the staff prepared dinner for us, allowing us to enjoy delightful conversations while watching them cook right in front of us. For breakfast, we prepared steamed dishes ourselves using a steamer basket, which allowed us to spend a relaxing and intimate moment together. An accommodation so wonderful that you'll want to recommend it to others and visit again and again!

The bath and sauna were great, but the meals were disappointing due to their small portions and low quality. Additionally, there was no explanation about the front door lock, and the towels and yukata provided for the bath had an unpleasant smell, ruining the post-bath experience. The accommodation's description made it seem like meals would be plentiful and luxurious, so we didn’t bring any food with us and ended up ordering Uber Eats. It was a learning experience, but I won’t be returning.

Perfect for couples or large groups!
I stayed with a meal-inclusive plan. Despite being within an hour from the city center and about a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, it was a quiet and serene traditional Japanese house accommodation. The peaceful atmosphere made me forget the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The interior of the accommodation perfectly matched its concept, blending old and new elements. It had earthen walls reminiscent of my grandmother's house, alongside modern amenities like floor heating (though unused during my summer stay). The outdoor bath and sauna, which I was most looking forward to, exceeded expectations. Although I was initially skeptical about artificial onsen water, it provided a similar tingling sensation that warmed me to the core and relieved fatigue—truly delightful! The sauna maintained around 110°C with just the right humidity, making it perfect for a sauna enthusiast like me. It was spacious enough to comfortably fit six people or more. Equipped with sauna mats, infinity chairs, gowns, sauna hats—everything you could need—it was flawless! Dinner featured fresh fish, meat, and vegetables grilled over an irori hearth—a heavenly experience especially after enjoying the sauna! Local craft beer complemented the meal perfectly for an unforgettable overnight stay. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared in advance by staff so I could enjoy another relaxing morning in the sauna at leisure. Service was exceptionally polite yet unobtrusive; since interaction mainly occurred during dinner time only, I enjoyed plenty of private moments throughout my stay. With multiple baths taken during my visit—the towel warmer proved incredibly convenient too! This is definitely an accommodation I'd love to visit again!

I would like to use this property again!
Since it is a property limited to one group per night, it was difficult to make a reservation. However, while waiting for a cancellation, there was one on the winter solstice last year, and I was finally able to use it with three friends. Passing through the impressive front gate facing the busy national highway reveals a tranquil Japanese garden. As you proceed further along the stone path flanked by lanterns, you are greeted by an old-fashioned well, dogwood hedges, and a large yuzu tree. Upon entering the entrance and completing check-in in the dirt floor area before going up into the interior of this traditional house, you'll find air conditioning as well as pellet fuel stoves and underfloor heating fully equipped. A modern dining kitchen is also available for free use. The furnishings and pillars/beams skillfully retain the charm of an old house while renovating throughout; it's perfect even for inbound guests who want to experience traditional Japanese culture. The bath facilities include 24-hour accessible shower rooms and saunas where we could relax thoroughly; yuzu were placed in open-air baths allowing us to enjoy their fragrance too! Dinner allowed us ample enjoyment around an irori hearth using fresh ingredients (the kind staff made rice balls from leftover seasoned rice). In our bedroom were fluffy futons laid out so comfortably that we overslept past our intended wake-up time next morning. Although prices may be slightly high considering cost performance makes this property absolutely recommended! Staff service was excellent providing every possible comfort at this accommodation—if forced mention any downside perhaps those from Showa era like myself might have appreciated having TV present hence rating only four stars under "Facility" category but definitely wish return again someday—thank you very much!

A blissful time to relax
We stayed with four people, including a toddler and an elementary school child. The children were very excited to see the traditional Japanese house for the first time as we passed through the gate. Since we arrived at night, after checking in, we immediately had dinner prepared at the irori while we went to the onsen. The interior was fully equipped with modern facilities (having two toilets was also a delight), making our stay truly comfortable. After coming out of the onsen, we enjoyed seafood, vegetables, meat, and seasoned rice cooked over an open hearth; the children found sweet potatoes delicious and ate them eagerly saying "sweet!" The seasoned rice cooked in a hagama had crispy bits that made us go for seconds multiple times. For breakfast, preparations were made by property staff beforehand so that we could prepare it ourselves in the morning at our own pace. This allowed us to enjoy our morning leisurely. There was also space in the courtyard where we created family memories by holding sparklers at night or roasting marshmallows with coffee in hand during mornings. We basked in sunlight on the porch or sprawled out on tatami mats enjoying simple daily happiness throughout this trip. I think it's an incredibly luxurious property just over an hour from Yokohama!

It was a wonderful Stays that the whole family could enjoy.
We found "Ruufu" while searching for a "whole house rental" due to its accessibility, being about an hour's drive from the city and close to the highway exit, and the fact that it allows for a relaxing stay with children. We stayed for one night. In addition to the unique dining style with an irori, which is not found in hotels, there were many photo spots, allowing us to enjoy a fun time with family. It was also great that the sauna and other facilities were pre-heated, so we could enjoy the bath and sauna immediately upon arrival. The facilities were clean, with interesting heating stoves and a bonfire space, making it a recommended place to relax with family and friends. We will definitely make a reservation at your affiliated Stays again. Thank you very much.

Let's go to the traditional Japanese house!
Forget about work for a two-day, one-night trip. Where shall we go? We can't go far, but we want to escape the city and immerse ourselves in an extraordinary world. "Ruufu Yujiya" fulfilled that wish for us. Located close to the station in the middle of a residential area, with a stylish noren and a solid gate of a Japanese house, beyond the white pebbles reminiscent of a Japanese garden, there is an old folk house that reminds you of an old village headman's house. And the staff greeted us with a gentle smile. In an instant, we were lost in the world of the good old Showa era. What is this feeling? The excitement won't stop! The sound of charcoal crackling in the irori, the scent of tatami, the warmth of the wood gently enveloping the outside breeze, and the sunset through the shoji. Enjoy the open-air bath and sauna before dinner, change into the provided jinbei-style room wear, and toast with beer. Savor grilled seafood, meat, vegetables, and seasoned rice cooked over the irori, followed by a bonfire after dinner. Relax in the living room while eating dessert ice cream and watching "YouTube" about Naritasan, where we'll go tomorrow, the floor heating feels pleasant on our feet. Ah, what a happy time! This time we came as a couple, but next time we'll come with friends for a lively visit. I'll boast about knowing such a wonderful Stays.

Old yet new!!
We stayed at the traditional house property, Yuuya, with our family of four. Despite its proximity to the city center, the spacious garden behind the road provided a very quiet space. With floor heating installed everywhere, it was very comfortable even on cold days. It was my first experience having warm floors in the dressing room and even the bathroom sink area. There are also two toilets, and they even have a child seat, which is very considerate. First, we headed to the open-air bath we were looking forward to. The washing area is a bit narrow, but the bath seems to be an artificial onsen, keeping us warm even after getting out. The sauna is authentic, allowing us to enjoy a good sweat with self-pouring water. Additionally, the presence of a hairdryer, hair iron, and curling iron delighted the women in our group. While dinner was being prepared, we enjoyed a bonfire, and for the much-anticipated dinner, we gathered around the hearth to savor meat, shrimp, scallops, and clams. The seasoned rice was also a big hit. Before bed, we spent time in the Western-style living room, drinking and watching movies on the big screen, or playing games like cards we brought along, enjoying a leisurely and fun time. We took another bath late at night, and it was nice to have the bath towels dry, thanks to the towel warmer. The next morning, we lit charcoal in the hearth to grill salmon and enjoyed side dishes that went well with rice, eating until we were full. We had planned to have lunch at the famous Western restaurant Los Angeles nearby, but we had to give up. To conclude our family trip, we visited the Kawamura Memorial Museum of Art, which is about 30 minutes from the property, to enjoy genuine works by renowned artists like Rembrandt, Renoir, Monet, Picasso, and Chagall. We were glad to visit before its closure next year. It seems you can consult about the number of guests, so next time, I would like to come with a friend's family. It was a fulfilling weekend that we could enjoy precisely because we didn't travel far. Thank you for the wonderful time.

I was able to relax from the bottom of my heart.
This time, I wanted to spend a relaxing time at a property about an hour away by train from the city, so I stayed for one night and two days at "Ruufu Yuinoya," which offers whole-house rentals! It's about a 10-minute walk from the north exit of Katsutadai Station, and the location features a well and a spacious garden typical of a Japanese house, creating a calm atmosphere that makes you forget you're in the city. At check-in, the staff kindly explains each room and the sauna. They only come for meal support or futon preparation, so it's a perfect distance for spending private time with family or friends in the old house. Inside the building, there are spaces reminiscent of a movie set inspired by a red-light district, an irori, and a courtyard with a bonfire, all of which are photogenic and exciting! It seems like cosplayers visiting in groups for photoshoots could enjoy it in a different way! Despite the traditional building, the living space is equipped with a sofa and a large projector, and the air conditioning and amenities make it a very comfortable indoor experience. The highlight was the open-air bath and barrel sauna. It's an artificial onsen containing radon, and I enjoyed it repeatedly. The sauna allows for löyly, and the option to choose and use aroma oils is a point that women would appreciate. The sauna hat, sauna poncho, and sauna mat are well-stocked. There is also a proper outdoor air bath space, making it very satisfying for sauna enthusiasts! Dinner features robatayaki at the irori. Seafood like shellfish and shrimp, meat, and vegetables—all allowed you to taste the natural flavors and were exquisite! There was also ice cream for dessert, and enjoying it in the courtyard by the bonfire after dinner was a relaxing time. There is also a service where you can send a letter to yourself a year later, which is one of the unique experiences that make Ruufu appealing. There was so much fun and healing that I can't fully describe it, so it's highly recommended not only for refreshing but also as a property to stay at for anniversaries!

Recommended for those with small children, take it slow!
We used this property for our first trip with three generations of our family. We traveled with an active 3-year-old, and since the property is limited to one group and mostly unmanned, we only met the staff during meals, allowing us to enjoy our stay without worrying about others. We were able to relax by enjoying the onsen and sauna at our leisure. The view of the trees and blue sky from the onsen during the morning bath was fantastic. With unlimited access, it's the perfect property for sauna enthusiasts. We also enjoyed a delicious meal of robatayaki by the hearth. The single-story architecture evoked a sense of nostalgia, but the tatami room was equipped with underfloor heating, so we had no issues with the facilities. After the onsen, we recommend relaxing with a drink by the bonfire or on the veranda. With access to U-NEXT and Netflix, our child was engrossed in watching Anpanman, giving the adults time to leisurely enjoy the onsen. It was our first time staying at a renovated traditional Japanese house, and it was very clean with well-equipped facilities. We enjoyed the trendy sauna while also experiencing traditional elements like the hearth, tatami rooms, and exposed beams, which gave us a sense of Japanese architecture. About 40 minutes by car from the property, in the neighboring city of Sakura, we were able to see both cosmos and sunflowers at the same time, making it the best season to visit.

An extraordinary space in a traditional Japanese house
For this trip, as we couldn't spend time on nearby sightseeing, we chose to stay at 【Ruufu Yuuka】, which offers easy access from the city center, with the purpose of "relaxing at the property" and "experiencing something different from usual." Upon entering the large traditional house that suddenly appears in the quiet city area, you are immediately transported to an extraordinary space, cut off from the surrounding residential area, as you pass through the front gate and garden into the property. Despite being a traditional house, it is equipped with air conditioning and floor heating, and the toilets and water facilities are new, ensuring a comfortable stay. Enjoying the unique interior of the traditional house was so engaging that time flew by. Dinner was a robatayaki using an irori, where meat and seafood are deliciously grilled over charcoal. The rice cooked in a traditional pot had a delightful crispy crust, and the leftovers were made into rice balls for a late-night snack... The bath features a semi-open-air hinoki bath and a genuine sauna, with artificial onsen water, allowing you to relax and unwind while enjoying the pleasant scent of hinoki. In the garden, you can experience a bonfire and enjoy fireworks and light meal preparation. The living room is equipped with a projector, allowing you to watch movies on a large screen, different from a TV. Staying in a traditional house was the main focus of this trip, and we were very satisfied with the various experiences we couldn't usually have. The staff who assisted with check-in and dinner preparation were very courteous, allowing us to use the property with peace of mind.

Sauna is the best!
I used it for a stay before the next day's golf. Since many of us are sauna enthusiasts, we found a property close to the golf course among the "Ruufu" (Ruufu) properties where we had previously stayed and were satisfied. It was a great choice. We enjoyed the sauna, cold bath, and semi-open-air bath. Also, the room with a kitchen had a sofa that could comfortably seat about six people, and there was a large screen, so we all enjoyed watching nostalgic dramas together. This time, we had dinner at a nearby Indian restaurant, so we didn't use the irori, but it's possible to bring in ingredients and have an irori BBQ with drinks. The access was convenient as the members gathered on-site, and those who came by train said it was nice to be able to walk from the station. The property itself is quite in the town, but the courtyard is spacious and far from the road, allowing us to enjoy an extraordinary experience away from the hustle and bustle. I would also like to visit the "Ruufu" (Ruufu) in the Yamanashi area. Thank you very much.

You can forget the time and relax.
To celebrate our wedding anniversary and birthday, and as a temple enthusiast, I found Yujika, an interesting Stays with good access to Naritasan, to visit with my wife. Although I heard it was an old folk house, a spacious garden spread out from the entrance, giving a sense of luxury and cleanliness. The bath is a semi-open-air cypress bath containing artificial onsen radon. It is said to be a "beauty bath," and upon seeing it, my wife declared, "I'll take it five times." Although she usually doesn't take long baths, she seemed quite excited about the bath. There is also a sauna with sauna clothes and hats provided. She was thrilled to wear clothes she doesn't usually wear and took many photos. The temperature control was good, allowing for a good sweat. Bathing while gazing at the sacred tree in the courtyard was very pleasant!! Dinner was robatayaki. With plenty of seasonal vegetables, fresh seafood skewers, and chicken thigh slowly grilled over the hearth, the ingredients' flavors were condensed, offering a taste completely different from usual. Enjoying the meal around the hearth while listening to the staff's detailed explanations and stories about Naritasan was fun and a very meaningful time. In the living room, there is a projector where you can watch YouTube, Netflix, etc., so you won't get bored. The kitchen has a coffee mill, allowing you to grind and pour coffee beans... This was also an experience we don't usually have, so it felt luxurious. This time, we visited as a couple and fully enjoyed the spacious area, but I think there would be different fun if you go with a large group. Both my wife and I are very satisfied. We had a wonderful anniversary! Thank you very much.
