    This was our first t...

    This was our first trip to Shikoku by car from the Kanto area. Since my husband loves saunas, we often look for an Accommodation with a private sauna. This one isn’t completely private, but we chose it because the view from the barrel sauna is truly one of a kind. Right up until checkout, we were picking up shells with our child, spotting fish, chasing fast-moving crabs… and we were surprised to even see a ray-like fish. Even though we’re adults, we got way too excited—now that we’re back home, it honestly feels like the Urashima Taro story. For dinner, we had the “Tamatebako” shabu-shabu and added the optional sashimi. The photos didn’t show any carbs, but the shabu-shabu came with udon noodles to finish, and the portions were more than enough for our family of four. There were two types of meat in two tiers, plus plenty of vegetables—it felt very generous and good value. We couldn’t finish everything at night and had the udon the next morning! Are those breakfast croissants sold anywhere? They were so delicious! To the woman who explained everything in the building: when you showed us to our Room and saw that we’d bought lots of alcohol, you kindly said, “Please go ahead and use the fridge as soon as possible!” That thoughtfulness made me really happy—I wondered if you enjoy drinks too. Needless to say, the scenery was incredible. We were blessed with great weather and spent an unbelievably happy time there. There aren’t pajama-like items provided, so I slept in my sauna poncho—but Nishikawa bedding was very comfortable. It was also convenient to have two hair dryers. A drum-type washer/dryer would be even more convenient someday—please consider it (haha). Next time I’d love to book a Multiple Night Stay! Thank you very much for taking care of us.

    We had an amazing time!

    At check-in, the staff kindly explained the property concept and how to use the Facilities, and provided very attentive service. Both inside and outside, the space was extremely comfortable, and just as promised by the concept, we were able to forget about time and enjoy a relaxing, meaningful stay. We would love to visit again when we want a special getaway. Thank you very much.

    Like Urashima Taro...

    I stayed with a group of boys in elementary and middle school. After returning home, the kids kept saying, "That was so much fun!" and "I don't even know where to start talking about it because it was so amazing." For us mothers, the flexibility of not having fixed meal times allowed us to set up the steamer at our convenience. As we enjoyed the delicious aroma, we said, "We're getting hungry... shall we eat?" While eating, we watched the sunset over a beautiful view. Once the sun had set, the night view across the shore appeared, letting us savor the transition into evening. The steamed meal was filled with plenty of vegetables that nourished both our bodies and hearts. In the morning, as high tide came in, it naturally marked time for us. We spent some wonderful moments discussing plans for that day. Having access to a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen made traveling with children incredibly convenient. At the private beach, we encountered baby shrimp, crabs, fish, hermit crabs... so many creatures! Coming back home felt surreal—it was as if time had stopped while we were there! It reminded me of Urashima Taro's story. We also read through booklets provided at your accommodation about its environmentally conscious design and its thoughtful consideration for local community development. Learning more about these efforts made me want to stay again even more deeply—not just on surface impressions but from understanding its essence. Honestly speaking—we want to come back every year!

    A Blissful Private Villa That Exceeds All Expectations

    The expectations were quite high as I had seen many photos and videos during the reservation process, but the actual stay far exceeded them. The breathtaking view of the Seto Inland Sea from the guest room "Oto -silence-" was stunning, especially on sunny days when the sunset and sea viewed from the terrace were exceptional. The beach directly below the terrace featured crystal-clear waters, and with a sauna exclusively for guests, it felt almost like a private beach. The interior was clean and comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen showed attention to detail with its cookware and tableware, allowing us to enjoy cooking fresh fish and vegetables purchased from local supermarkets or markets. The surroundings of the accommodation were quiet and serene without any commercial noise, offering a peaceful atmosphere reminiscent of an isolated island. A short drive away led to attractions such as Shiude Mountain's scenic viewpoint or highly-rated Sanuki udon restaurants, making drives during our stay enjoyable. The staff maintained just the right level of interaction—always approachable with warm smiles whenever assistance was needed. One request would be for additional amenities like a washer-dryer, dishwasher, oven, or grill for even greater comfort during multiple night stays. This time we stayed for two nights but would love to enjoy a longer stay next time. Thank you for an amazing experience!

    Adult Getaway

    We enjoyed a peaceful time surrounded by the calmness of the Seto Inland Sea and nature. We stayed as a family, and even our children (middle and high school students) seemed to enjoy both nature and the sauna. For meals, we ordered the treasure box set and sashimi platter, which were more than sufficient in quantity. Adding meals is recommended for those who want to relax in their Room. The location being close to Chichibugahama Beach and Shiudeyama Mountain was also a great advantage.

    It was a wonderful accommodation.

    It was a very lovely accommodation. The staff were very kind, and I felt safe staying there. I stayed to visit Chichibugahama Beach, which was conveniently about a 15-minute drive away. In front of the accommodation, there was Angel Road leading to Maruyama Island, and I could walk over to the island for a stroll. The view from the room was excellent as well. The steamed dish "Tamatebako" I ordered for dinner had such a generous portion that I couldn't finish it all—completely satisfying! The room was very clean and comfortable to stay in. If I have another chance, I'd love to make a reservation again!

    A wonderful Property

    We stayed as a couple in our 50s. It was our first time staying at a whole-rental Property, and we are so glad we chose this one. At the beginning, the Facility manager gave us a tour of the Property, and after that, we had the entire place to ourselves until check-out. The check-out process was seamless with no formalities. We were able to relax and enjoy the stunning views in complete privacy, feeling as comfortable as if we were at home. With no TV or clock, we had a wonderful time reconnecting and enjoying conversations as a couple. This time, we ordered the special dinner box, which was absolutely delicious. Next time, we’re thinking of trying the nearby Italian restaurant. We’re already looking forward to staying here again. It was such an amazing Property.

    It was amazing!

    Fortunately, there were no other guests during our stay, so we had the entire accommodation to ourselves. We made the reservation for the sauna, but the view from the room exceeded our expectations and was very satisfying. The seawater bath after the sauna was amazing! Although there was a slight draft in the sauna that made it difficult to reach higher temperatures, overall, we were extremely satisfied. For dinner, it might be better to either bring food in advance or order at the accommodation if possible. Going out feels like a waste of time here. It’s a facility we’d love to visit again!

    A Luxurious Hideaway

    Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I have stayed at several one-building accommodations in my hometown of Kagawa, but the views, tranquility, and privacy of this accommodation are exceptional. Watching the sandbar leading to Maruyama Island change shape with the ebb and flow of the tide allows you to relax and forget time at your own pace. The Seto Inland Sea is scenic and beautiful, but with increasing tourists making some areas noisy, this hidden gem of an accommodation is truly valuable.

    It was excellent!

    The best accommodation experience of my life. Everything, from the scenery to the staff's hospitality, was absolutely satisfying. I was able to forget about time and fully enjoy my stay, just as the concept promised. I would love to stay again in a different season. I've never written a review before, but I wanted to express my gratitude, so I decided to write this! Thank you very much!
