    Ideal for family trips

    We chose to stay here as it was difficult to use a Ryokan due to our large family. The Facility and equipment were very well-maintained and clean. The children had a great time playing table tennis and basketball, but please note that the Room for these activities does not have air conditioning, so be cautious of heatstroke. For dinner, we purchased ingredients around Odawara and enjoyed a BBQ. It was a very enjoyable experience. There were two baths available; however, one of them did not provide Onsen water, so we deducted one star from our rating. Other than that, we had a very comfortable stay. Despite being in the mountains, Yamato Transport provided same-day delivery service for luggage like clothes, making everything smooth and convenient. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience!

    The water (hot water) suddenly stopped while bathing, which was surprising... but everything else was good.

    Used for a once-a-year Tanabata gathering with four generations. We usually stayed at a hotel, but this time we tried a private villa accommodation with a BBQ plan for the first time. It was one of the few villas that could accommodate large groups, and it was such a lovely property that even the grandchildren kept saying they wanted to buy it. ① For the BBQ, we originally wanted to use charcoal grilling, but since open flames were prohibited, we used two gas grills provided on-site. Unfortunately, they were connected by hoses and could only be used on the wooden deck. There was another grill upstairs powered by what seemed like a gas canister, which we were able to use as well. ② The rooms were designed for about three people per room, so it was challenging to decide how to allocate families of four. ③ There was a basketball hoop and ping-pong table available, which everyone enjoyed thoroughly. ④ One disappointing issue was that water suddenly stopped running during our stay. When I tried contacting support via LINE messaging app, I noticed prior communication stating this might happen and advising us to wait about 15 minutes if it did occur. However, one family member happened to be shampooing at that moment and faced some trouble because of this. It would be helpful if there were warnings in advance—such as showing how much water is left—or if this information had been communicated clearly at the reservation stage. While I understand it's due to being located on high ground, better preparation would have been appreciated. ⑤ Lastly, while it wasn’t inexpensive accommodation-wise, apart from the water issue everything else made for an extremely satisfying stay. The quick responses via LINE messaging also provided peace of mind!

    Facility malfunction

    The view was great, and there were plenty of Rooms, but unfortunately, the essential Löyly sauna was unavailable. If the Facility cost 100,000 yen range, it might have been understandable. However, considering we paid 350,000 yen for the holiday rate, satisfaction was quite difficult to achieve. 1. There were no instruction manuals or guides available, making it hard to understand how to use the Facilities. 2. Without prior notice, "Do Not Use" signs were placed on two saunas. 3. The jacuzzi tub was dirty with leaves and dust particles. 4. The scale had a dead battery. Overall, it was disappointing in many aspects.
