    A relaxing and satisfying one-night stay for three generations

    We stayed for one night with five people across three generations: my parents visiting from our hometown and my university-aged son. The view was wonderful and the space felt open. Overall, it was spacious and exactly as expected. We were satisfied. That said, two points stood out. First, it was difficult to adjust the bath water temperature. It was too hot, and we wanted to lower it more. Second, we couldn’t watch BS channels on the TV. It was disappointing not to be able to watch MLB. Both issues might have been solvable in practice, but if so, we would have appreciated clearer instructions. On the other hand, aside from those two points, there was nothing else that concerned us, so overall satisfaction was high. It’s an Accommodation we’d like to visit again.

    Ideal for group trips

    The living room was spacious with a great view, and there were three bedrooms, which made it perfect for a group trip. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and it was great that coffee was unlimited. Dinner was kaiseki cuisine, which was perfect for a commemorative trip, and everyone says they want to come again with the same Plan. Thank you as well for helping us with various questions.

    We stayed as a famil...

    We stayed as a family of seven, including a 2-year-old. While the view from the living room was stunning as shown in the photos, many aspects were disappointing, especially considering the high price for this season. Overall satisfaction was quite low. Upon arrival, we had to wait outside in the heat before entering. The living room was unusually hot because the air conditioner wasn’t working due to dead remote batteries—a frustrating start after such a long preparation time. With no dishes available for breakfast unless washed, we tried using the dishwasher only to find it out of order. This meant handwashing everything during our vacation—a major letdown that wasn’t communicated until we discovered it ourselves. For dinner barbecue in the living room, we found that the ceiling ventilation system wasn’t functioning properly. As a result, odors lingered in the Room even into the next day—another disappointment. The natural Onsen water was extremely hot and required significant cooling and mixing before use. It was too dangerous for our 2-year-old to bathe safely and remained too hot even by morning despite attempts to adjust it. Instructions on proper usage were unclear or unavailable—yet another frustration with no resolution. The beer server pricing differed between phone guidance and on-site information; however, staff honored phone pricing due to their mistake. Unfortunately, beer from the server wasn’t chilled during dinner but only cooled by morning—indicating insufficient pre-cooling time without prior explanation about this delay. Had we known earlier, using regular refrigerated beer would have been preferable—a missed opportunity that left us disappointed again. Lastly, when using provided laundry facilities for our toddler’s clothes, we discovered an attached sanitary pad inside upon drying—a shocking oversight suggesting inadequate cleaning procedures throughout preparations—leaving us repeatedly disheartened and surprised at every turn of this stay experience!

    Satisfied.

    Since it was a whole accommodation rental, we thought we would have to set up the futons ourselves, but they were already prepared upon arrival, which was great. The cleaning was thorough and everything was very clean. For meals, we chose BBQ as the main dish this time, and it was delicious! We’ll look forward to trying the kinmedai shabu-shabu and hand-rolled sushi next time. Games were also provided, so we played with our grandchildren! The fridge was stocked with plenty of water and tea drinks, which made us very satisfied. This time there were six of us staying together, and it turned out to be a fun trip for everyone! The room size was just right for us; the loungewear provided felt like relaxing at home in jerseys and T-shirts—very comfortable. This is definitely an accommodation where I want to stay again with my family! Also, from the living room view, you could see Hatsushima Island and Atami Castle—it made for a wonderfully relaxing holiday.
