I was satisfied.
Our couple in our 50s stayed for one night with our child’s couple in their 20s and our dog. The Room was spacious and pleasantly nostalgic, with a well-equipped kitchen, and the bathroom and toilet were spotlessly clean. The amenities were comparable to a Hotel. The staff were courteous, and we were able to relax completely. Since this Accommodation has no TV, it’s perfect for a digital detox! We wanted to do so many things—fireworks, stargazing, calligraphy—but ran out of time and left wishing we could have done more. This is an Accommodation meant for enjoying your time on-site. The stairs are quite steep, with the bedroom on the second floor and only one toilet on the first floor, which felt a bit risky for elderly guests or those with small children—so we rated only the Facility/equipment category as 4.

I really loved the interior design.
It was a very quiet Accommodation in a residential area with beautiful mountain views, and the interior—renovated from a traditional old house—was wonderful. However, the bedding was the only disappointment. Even though it was summer, there was only one thick winter-style duvet, making it hard to regulate temperature. The pillows were also quite firm, and both my wife and I ended up with neck pain. If all of your other Accommodations use the same bedding as well, I strongly hope this point will be improved.

It exceeded my expectations.
We chose this place as we were looking for a location where we could travel with our dog. The Room was very clean, and although we were concerned about the cold, the fireplace and stove made it comfortable. However, we did notice some dryness, so having a humidifier would make it even more comfortable. The meals were very delicious, especially the white rice served at dinner—it was exceptional! We would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

Perfect Accommodation for Creating Memories
We stayed here for a trip with eight women who had finished raising their children. We gathered information online and arrived with high expectations, which were not only met but exceeded in every way. Upon arrival, the spacious area was warmly heated, and we were welcomed with pleasant music playing in the background. After check-in, a staff member gave us a tour of the entire facility, making it feel like an exciting exploration. For dinner, we enjoyed an Irori Kaiseki meal. The staff began preparations an hour beforehand. The experience of grilling skewers over the irori was unique and delightful. The staff's engaging conversation made both our chats and drinks flow effortlessly. Over about two hours, skewers, small dishes, rice, soup, and desserts were served as part of this special meal. The spacious first floor was kept warm with a pellet stove and Dyson heater. Even the barrel bath had its own heater to ensure comfort before bathing—three adults could fit in together comfortably. The large refrigerator in the kitchen offered beer and wine for purchase while also allowing us to store any food or drinks we brought along ourselves. Although we ended up skipping the bonfire due to lively conversations indoors, stargazing at night was absolutely breathtaking! We even enjoyed some calligraphy after drinking—it turned into quite a fun activity! In the morning, steamed dishes served with ponzu dressing were deliciously satisfying alongside rice shaped into onigiri (rice balls). It was truly a luxurious stay that left everyone completely satisfied!

The traditional Japanese house interior (especially the bath) and the meals were excellent.
I was looking for an accommodation where I could stay with my dog, and I was completely satisfied with the stunning traditional Japanese house interior. It was so relaxing to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the mountain scenery. The meals, including salt-grilled sweetfish and hearth-cooked dishes, were absolutely delicious. I would love to stay at "Ru's House" in other regions as well. The staff at the accommodation were very kind, and the rice cooked in a traditional pot was also delightful. Thank you very much!

Renting an entire property is great!
We stayed as a group of three friends. Renting an entire accommodation felt more relaxing than staying in a small hotel room, and I really enjoyed it. Highly recommended. The staff warmly welcomed us and provided detailed explanations. The robatayaki dinner was carefully prepared and delicious—thank you very much! The old building has been creatively renovated, making our stay comfortable. The bath inside the storehouse was unique and interesting, and we had fun with the bonfire in the garden. The surroundings of the accommodation were peaceful, making it a wonderful place to stay. It was unfortunate that the file documenting the building's construction history was missing. I would have loved to learn more about its history, background, and features; for this reason, I gave 4 stars instead of 5. On our way there, we took a scenic mountain road filled with greenery—it was thrilling! We even passed through a tunnel reminiscent of "Spirited Away." Although we didn’t encounter any deer this time, it seems they can sometimes be spotted along the way. On our return trip via a wider road, we easily visited Minobu-san Kuon-ji Temple for prayers—this is also highly recommended!

Like a childhood summer vacation
We stayed at this accommodation for the first time with four colleagues from work. Located about a 50-minute drive from Kofu City, it is nestled in a secluded area surrounded by nature's charm. In front of the accommodation, there are forests and rice fields, and at night, the stars were stunningly beautiful. Even in late June, we could see the Milky Way and spotted several shooting stars. About a 10-minute drive away is "Firefly Village," where we saw fireflies for the first time in about 20 years. We also enjoyed hiking Mount Hirugatake and experiencing sauna-to-lake dives at Shibire Lake—truly an unforgettable trip immersed in nature. The shabu-shabu served at the accommodation was delicious, and the spacious bath allowed us to relax fully. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Very satisfied.
Sorry for the late Review. This time, we used the facility with three generations of our family, each with their partners, totaling 8 people and 1 dog. It was a very calming space, and the whole family was able to relax. It was nice to feel a little detached from the usual reality. We all enjoyed the calligraphy and herbal tea experiences as a family. The meals were also very fulfilling, and the staff took their time to attend to us. It was exciting from start to finish, and we had a very enjoyable time. I am happy that we were able to spend such a wonderful time as a family. We definitely want to use it again.

Both dogs and people are fully satisfied.
This time, we stayed at Rufu Sho no Ie with our three dogs for the first time. It is said to be an old folk house that was once used for sericulture, with three floors, and we were excited by the extraordinary space. On the first floor, there is a spacious living room with a dirt floor, and our dogs were able to relax and unwind, running around the living room or going down to the dirt floor to rest as they pleased. Even without a dog run, the space on the first floor was satisfying. We enjoyed an irori kaiseki meal. The staff carefully grilled the irori dishes right in front of us using charcoal, and each dish was exquisite. The skewers of log-grown shiitake mushrooms, Koshu beef, beef tongue, and eel were particularly delicious. In addition to the skewers, we enjoyed appetizers, chawanmushi, freshly picked salad, clay pot rice, and dessert, all made with delicious ingredients from Yamanashi Prefecture, leaving us full and satisfied. The bath we were very much looking forward to this time was a remodeled bath made from an original storehouse, and its construction was impressive. It was a large hinoki bath that could accommodate a family, with a high ceiling, and it was a type of bath we had never experienced before. We enjoyed it twice, at night and in the morning. On the third floor, there is a space where you can enjoy calligraphy, and since check-out is at 11:00, we were able to take our time and spend a fun morning doing paw print art with our dogs. Yoga mats were also provided, so it seems like you can enjoy meditation, yoga, Pilates, and reading in this extraordinary space. Our dogs also spent their time freely and became attached to the kind staff. We would love to stay again.

I had a relaxing time.
It was an extraordinary experience staying in a building originally used for sericulture in the mountains.
