    A soothing villa you’ll want to return to again and again

    I visited during the season of fresh greenery. Not only was I soothed by the surrounding nature, but I was also impressed by the attention to detail in everything—from the villa’s design to the furniture. The sense of openness in the bath was especially wonderful. We also lit a fire with firewood, baked pizza in the pizza oven, and enjoyed meals on the terrace morning and evening. An Accommodation that makes you never want to leave. I will definitely come again. Lastly, we also enjoyed the picture books. Thank you very much.

    Accommodation for 2 guests for 1 night

    We stayed in the Elm building. Flavored tea was available at the front desk. After receiving an explanation of the room, it was fun to look around the cottage. The treehouse in particular had large windows with the green forest close by, making it a very relaxing space. The bath was also clean and pleasant. Cooking was allowed as long as there were no strong grilled-meat odors or smoke. If we visit again, we’d like to cook for ourselves. The front desk staff also had a nice atmosphere.

    Enjoy nature

    I had a very enjoyable time. Overall, I am very satisfied. I believe this is a place where you can experience the luxury of relaxing at your own pace. If possible, it would be great if check-in could be made 1–2 hours earlier. I look forward to staying here again. Thank you very much!

    I had a relaxing stay.

    We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days as a family. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing amidst the trees. We would love to stay longer next time!

    ELM Building

    We were provided with 6 beds for 5 adults and 2 infants. When we made reservations for each day separately, we received a kind phone call offering a discount for the multiple night stay. There is a lovely management building on the premises where the manager is stationed, and it operates as a system where you settle payments and receive your keys. The ELM building offers a very quiet garden surrounded by trees right in front of it. The kitchen was well-equipped with seasonings, tableware, coffee beans, and more (the refrigerator was stocked with complimentary drinks such as water, cola, non-alcoholic beer, and Karuizawa beer). When I asked if there were any rubber gloves available for washing dishes out of personal preference, they kindly lent me clean ones despite initially offering their own pair. We enjoyed activities like taking out roast chicken from Castagne near the station or buying bread at "Mel Mill," about 10 minutes away by car (open from 7:30 AM), relaxing in the bath, or simply admiring the garden during our wonderful two-night stay. The staff at the management building and those handling linen changes were also very kind. We would love to visit again someday! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

    Heaven in Karuizawa.

    The vacation rental villa in Karuizawa is unparalleled. It was a truly wonderful stay. The Room was just the right size, with beautiful wood creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. It felt as if a homely forest fairy might live there. Naturally, the surrounding scenery was stunning, and the natural light streaming into the Room was liberating, warm, and absolutely beautiful. Open, introspective, yet warm. The fireplace was also lovely, with its flickering flames and crackling sounds, washing away stress like a soothing bath. The bath was astonishingly good. It might be my favorite part. The design was a sophisticated modernism, reminiscent of works by architect Yoshio Taniguchi or David Chipperfield. The size was perfectly compact, and it brought me joy. I will definitely come back! Thank you so much!
