If you want to fully enjoy a sauna and a traditional Japanese house, this is the place.
We stayed here for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The space was incredibly comfortable, and we’d love to come again. The welcome drink and baked treats won us over right away, and the Accommodation itself was wonderful. The sauna was available as much as we wanted from 6:00 to 22:00, and 90°C was just perfect. The cold bath water felt silky—you could tell it was rich in minerals and iron. There were plenty of towels, the herbal tea in the fridge was delicious, and the loungewear felt amazing on the skin. If I had to mention one thing, the OSAJI? amenities—toner and emulsion—had not been replenished. When I asked, I was told they weren’t available due to import circumstances, so it would have been even better if we had been informed in advance. (There’s a convenience store nearby, so we went to buy some.) The food was very tasty—especially the shabu-shabu and seafood, which were fresh and delicious. It did need a bit of reheating, but it was great being able to enjoy it indoors without worrying about others around us. Thank you very much. Next time we’d like to stay at hanare!

I stayed for one nig...
I stayed for one night with meals included. Both the sauna and the meals were excellent, and I had an amazing time. Perhaps due to the season or the building, it felt a bit cold even with all the heating on, but everything else was perfect. Next time, I’d love to try staying at Hanare!

It was a very lovely...
It was a very lovely accommodation that made me want to visit again. I went for the sauna, and it was very pleasant. The cold bath with well water was also great. The limited-edition incense had a wonderful fragrance, and I bought some as souvenirs. The staff's kind and attentive service was also very comforting. I will stay here again. Thank you so much!

A sauna you can enjoy anytime, as much as you like.
The most memorable part of this stay was the beauty of the sauna and the thoughtfully designed space. The cold bath, using well water, had a gentle coolness that felt smooth and soothing on the skin. With minimal decoration, soft low lighting, and a beautiful contrast between the wood tones and shadows, it created a serene atmosphere. It was a perfect day to experience something extraordinary!

A Place to Awaken Your Senses
I have always loved traditional Japanese houses and bookmarked this place, hoping to see the building someday. To my surprise, it had become an accommodation, and I was fortunate enough to stay here this time. It felt like a special space unfolding in the midst of an ordinary residential area—a truly unique atmosphere. The concept was well thought out, and by sharpening my senses, I felt as if I had traveled to a faraway world. The sauna was incredibly relaxing as well. The staff were very polite, and I appreciate their assistance even after the sales hours had ended. Thanks to this place, I got to visit a station and town that I would never have encountered otherwise in my life, making for a wonderful experience. Thank you very much!

Unconscious
We stayed here for each other's birthday trip. Being a private accommodation, it was very appealing that we could enjoy our time without worrying about other guests. From the moment we arrived, the staff's polite and clear explanations made us feel at ease and ensured a comfortable stay from check-in onwards. The accommodation was clean, with tastefully arranged interiors creating a calm atmosphere. The warmth of the wooden design combined with pleasant lighting and fragrance made us think "we're so glad we chose this place" the moment we stepped in. The kitchen, bathroom, and amenities were well-equipped, offering both the comfort of a hotel and the coziness of home. The surrounding area was quiet with good access to Kyoto city center, making it very convenient as a base for sightseeing. At night, there were few people around, allowing us to enjoy peaceful moments together—a perfect setting for an indulgent birthday trip. It had a special charm unique to private accommodations while maintaining simplicity and elegance without excessive decoration—truly comfortable throughout our stay. We are grateful for the thoughtful care provided by the staff as well. This is especially recommended for couples looking to spend anniversaries or special occasions quietly and leisurely together. It was such a wonderful accommodation that we'd love to visit again in another season!

I would definitely stay here again.
I stayed here for my girlfriend's birthday trip. The sauna was excellent, and the cold bath, using natural well water, was incredibly refreshing. The interior was clean and stylish, with spacious rooms and fully equipped amenities. There were even speakers and incense, creating a perfectly relaxing atmosphere. The meals exceeded expectations in both taste and portion size—absolutely satisfying. We also opted for additional birthday options like a cake, bouquet of flowers, and alcohol; these were fantastic as well. Everything about this accommodation was perfect, and my girlfriend loved it too. It's rare to find such an amazing villa at this price point! I definitely want to stay here again—it has become one of my favorite accommodations. Thank you so much!

The ultimate private space away from reality
This was my second visit. It's always the best no matter how many times I go. Since you rent the whole property, you don't have to worry about neighboring rooms and can enjoy a private space. Above all, the sauna is very pleasant, and the outdoor air bath after the well water bath is the best. You can choose an aroma at check-in, which is mixed into the water for the löyly, allowing you to enjoy a very relaxing sauna. The entire room is enveloped in a very nice scent from the diffuser, so you are soothed by the fragrance wherever you are. As for meals, we went shopping at a nearby supermarket and made a hot pot to enjoy a leisurely time. Another great aspect is that the staff are very kind. They were very helpful during the initial explanation and at check-out, providing a kind service that embodies the world view of the stays. We had a very good time, so I definitely want to visit again soon! Thank you very much.

We used it for my wife's birthday trip.
I used the property for my wife's birthday trip. I made a reservation about a month in advance because there was a vacancy during the middle of a three-day weekend. Since we were in Osaka (USJ) the day before, I thought the travel would be difficult, but it was surprisingly close to Kyoto Station, and the transportation convenience wasn't too bad. However, since the number of trains is limited, I think it's better to check the train schedule in advance. Upon arrival at the property, we were offered a welcome drink and tea sweets at the attached café, and given an explanation of the precautions for the stay. The staff's response was very polite, and the atmosphere of the café was very nice, so I thought I would like to use it someday. Regarding the property, the concept of "traditional house × art" was exactly as described, and the atmosphere was very good, allowing us to spend a relaxing time. There was attention to detail in the room, and the speakers, lights, and amenities in the washroom were all very good. The overall atmosphere of the property was excellent, but perhaps because it was a traditional house, I was a little concerned about the cold. There were plenty of heating appliances available, so I regret not using them. The sauna was also excellent, especially the point that you can adjust the temperature yourself and the atmosphere created by intentionally dimming the lights. There was also herbal tea for the sauna, which was very relaxing. The sauna was a bit cold at the feet, but there was no particular problem if you lifted your feet onto the chair. It was a completely private space, so I was able to relax very much. Dinner was luxurious and served in the room, so we enjoyed it very much. It was a bit disappointing that there was no explanation of the dishes, but everything was very delicious. It was also nice that we could use the sauna until the last minute in the morning. Even after checkout, they served coffee and Japanese black tea from the café. When I tried to decline because I didn't have time, I was impressed by their response to prepare it for takeout. The atmosphere, service, etc., were all excellent, and I would like to stay again.

A sauna Stays you want to visit again
I was able to spend a time where I could truly relax and forget about everyday life. This time, we used the facility for my parents' 60th birthday celebration with the family, and we rented out both the main building and the annex. My father, who loves saunas, and my mother, who experienced a sauna for the first time, both ended up enjoying it, and it was a wonderful experience to see them relax together. The temperature in the sauna room was perfect, providing a pleasant sensation of warmth, and the aroma of the essential oils during the löyly was soothing. By choosing the Room Dining Plan, we were able to enjoy a relaxed gathering with my sibling's family, who have small children, and celebrate together, which was very nice. I am grateful to the staff for their attentive care and for willingly accommodating various requests. It became a very good memory for our family. We would like to visit again with everyone. Thank you for the wonderful time.

I had a relaxing and...
I had a relaxing and enjoyable time. I refreshed myself in the sauna and was able to eat freely at my preferred time using the equipped kitchen. The availability of tableware was helpful. I felt a bit inconvenienced as there was nothing to dry the dishes with after washing them. Overall, I was very satisfied and would like to use it again.
