    It was amazing!

    We stayed with three family members and our dog. The building nestled in fresh greenery was truly beautiful, and the extraordinary Room space was amazing! At night, we dimmed the lights, played jazz, enjoyed some drinks, and relaxed at our own pace. Our daughter also played the lovely piano for us—it was such a luxurious time. There were Jenga and playing cards provided, and it was surprisingly fun to play them in such a unique setting! The morning bath surrounded by greenery was also wonderful—every moment was truly special. Our daughter was thrilled and said she wants to stay here again next time we come to Karuizawa, and we had a fantastic time overall. Thank you as well to the staff for being so friendly and kind!

    Golden Week stay

    This was my first stay during the season of fresh greenery. It was a little chilly outside in the mornings and evenings, but the room was comfortable. I expected the bathtub to feel cold, but it had a reheating function, so it was warm and very relaxing. I also enjoyed playing music to my heart’s content. I’d love to stay again in autumn!

    Accommodation for Doing Nothing Time

    This is a place I’d especially recommend to anyone who feels that ordinary stays are no longer enough. Rather than simply “staying overnight,” this Accommodation lets you experience the building itself. The guest room has a layout that allows you to walk all the way around, making it truly unique. There’s no inconvenience, and the floor-to-ceiling glass windows let you enjoy scenery that changes with time. Just being in the space feels fulfilling—you don’t need to force yourself to do anything. It makes you realize how luxurious it can be to spend time doing nothing. This is not an extension of everyday life, but a place you’d choose when you want to Clear your mind. The more Accommodations you’ve stayed at, the more this will feel like a refreshing stay with a different kind of spice from the usual. The meals were also highly satisfying—generous portions with carefully crafted flavors. The pizza and tiramisu dessert were especially memorable. Since the food is catered from a popular restaurant, one of the highlights is being able to enjoy flavors from a place that’s usually hard to get a Reservation for—right in this setting. It was also great that we could complete everything without going out, enjoying meals without breaking the atmosphere of our stay.

    A Mysterious Building

    I booked this Accommodation because I was drawn to its unique exterior, and once inside, I loved the open feel and panoramic view from the living room. The bedroom—perhaps because it’s built into the cliff—was surprisingly calming, and I slept deeply and felt completely recharged!

    An unforgettable experience—every bit as exceptional as Wa no Ie.

    We stayed here the day after visiting our sister Accommodation, Wa no Ie, also operated in Karuizawa. We were already extremely satisfied with Wa no Ie, but this Ro no Ie impressed us even more. At first I wondered what a donut-shaped building would be like, but despite its unusual appearance, it was very comfortable to stay in. Wherever you are inside, it feels like a secret hideout, and combined with the surrounding nature, it was truly an extraordinary experience. This time we came as a couple and didn’t bring our child, but I’m sure kids would absolutely love it. Next time we’ll come together. By the way, there is a piano here as well. It seems to be a very good one, and my wife was thrilled and played it enthusiastically. If you’re staying as a couple, I highly recommend that the men practice beforehand—playing it really sets the mood.

    Extraordinary experience! A building beauty that seems to float in the forest.

    This time, I stayed for the first time. Since it is a bit far from Karuizawa Station, I was hesitant to reserve, but the building's design seemed interesting, so I reserved. When I actually saw it, I was so surprised that I exclaimed, "Wow!" The building is designed as if it is piercing through the beautiful mountains of Karuizawa's villa area! How on earth was it built? I was amazed. I went with my child, and they said it looked like a UFO. Inside, the living room, dining room, and bedroom are connected in a donut shape. My child was running around (laughs). The bedroom is divided into two large sections, and there was floor heating, so it wasn't cold at all. The sofa was comfortable, and with the sunlight streaming in, it was warm and I ended up dozing off. The kitchen is simple but seems easy to use. We ate outside that day, so we only used the drinks and pot, but there were plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. The bath also had a view outside, and looking out from inside felt like floating, which was mysterious! The toilet was hidden by a curtain, so some people might be concerned, but it wasn't an issue for a family visit. The view from inside the room was very beautiful. I recommend it for those who want to spend time quietly away from everyday life.

    I was healed by the pleasant silence and luxurious space. The location surrounded by nature was wonderful, and the silence that made me feel like I was in another world healed my mind and body. I was impressed not only by the beauty of the architectural design but also by the meticulous cleaning and detailed hospitality. The Room was spacious, and as I walked down the hallway, there was a living space filled with natural light. All the furniture and furnishings were tasteful, allowing me to relax in a simple and calm atmosphere. During my stay, I enjoyed a luxurious moment as if time had stopped, gazing at the view from the window, getting lost in reading, or leisurely enjoying tea. It is truly precious to have such a quiet and peaceful time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would like to visit again in a different season.

    I had a wonderful ex...

    I had a wonderful extraordinary experience, feeling as if I were in the forest while in the room, with a view of lush greenery from the window. Since we used the room for two people this time, it felt luxurious like an overseas luxury suite, but the bathroom and toilet are connected like in foreign hotels, which might be a concern for friends staying together. I would definitely like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
