    Family Trip

    This trip was planned so my elderly mother could travel while she still can. We really appreciated being given a Room close to the car, which was very helpful. We had a comfortable stay throughout. The bath in particular had wonderfully silky water, and we were very satisfied. There were plenty of drinks available, which was great, but it would have been even better if tea bags were provided so we could have hot tea. We borrowed some board games and enjoyed them together—it was a lot of fun. We had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

    New sauna installed

    This was my third visit. I happened to find out on IKYU.com that a new sauna had been installed, so I made a Reservation. My previous two visits were during the off-season winter for glamping, so even though it was a revisit, I enjoyed it with a fresh feeling. The breakfast style and services seem to change slightly every time I visit, which can be confusing, but it's clear that you're trying to improve through trial and error. Please keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to my next visit. It was almost perfect, but the air conditioning in the bedroom wasn't working well—improving this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your hospitality!

    It was a wonderful villa.

    We stayed as a couple. Upon arrival, we were unsure where to check in, but a foreign staff member noticed us and came to assist. Based on previous reviews mentioning that the top floor rooms are the best, we requested one and our request was granted. The room was conveniently close to the parking lot and the area with beer and other refreshments, plus the view was fantastic. However, the entrance of our room had an iron gate-like door that made it easy to see inside from outside. It felt uncomfortable when using the open-air bath as privacy was compromised. Since all rooms seem similar in design and ours being on the top floor at road level made it more concerning, I mentioned this in a survey provided in the room and suggested adding curtains or some kind of privacy screen. If this issue is addressed, I would love to stay again. The private spa was excellent! The onsen in our room's open-air bath as well as the sauna were also wonderful. Lastly, when trying to call a number listed on your website just before arrival for some inquiries, I received a message saying "this number is no longer in service," which caused some anxiety.

    A villa built on an elevated location with a wonderful terrace

    ● Room - A villa with a unique layout: one building with a dining area, another with a living room, bed space, and bathroom, and a terrace in between. While moving between the buildings can be slightly inconvenient in colder weather, the overall design, featuring wooden interiors, makes for a pleasant Room. - The terrace offers a stunning view of Toba's rias coastline. It also includes an open-air bath and a sauna. - There are three villas built on a slope, and the top villa is the most desirable Room. It offers the best view and is at the same level as the road, making it easy to unload luggage directly into the Room without using stairs. - The interior is simple, but the lack of places to hang clothes or shelves for valuables can make it a bit challenging to keep the Room tidy. - The dining building is equipped with a commercial refrigerator and a kitchen. - The sauna takes time to heat up, so it’s recommended to turn it on as soon as you enter the Room to ensure it’s ready when you want to use it. ● Service - There is a small shared building that also serves as an office for the Hotel staff, where you can get drinks. ● Shared Facility - There is a private open-air bath available. The underwater lighting changes depending on the time, creating a stylish atmosphere. The changing room is spacious enough for a family, and the open-air bath itself is quite large. ● Meals - Dinner is a self-cooking style, with ingredients provided in the refrigerator for easy preparation. A smokeless roaster is available for barbecue, which can be done in the dining building. The ingredients are luxurious and sourced from Ise-Shima. This setup allows you to eat at your own pace and time without worrying about others, making it ideal for families with children. - Breakfast is delivered to your Room and is more than sufficient in quantity. ● Satisfaction - Visiting during a warmer season would likely enhance the experience, as the terrace is the highlight of the Room, and its appeal diminishes slightly in winter. However, the minimal interaction with Hotel staff and the ability to enjoy a private, comfortable stay make this Property highly enjoyable. While the Hotel markets itself as an adult resort villa, it is also suitable for families. The self-service aspect of the meals may be a matter of personal preference.
