Both the facilities and services were very good.
I stayed for one night and two days for my husband's birthday. The room we stayed in was Usui Residence 104 (with sauna). Both the facilities and services were excellent! Until now, I had the mindset of wanting to stay at new properties rather than revisiting ones I've stayed at before, but I would definitely like to repeat my stay at Minamo! Here are the good points: - The facilities are clean - The room has a wonderful hinoki (cypress) scent - The room's air conditioning is just right - The atmosphere and scenery are good - The food and drinks in the room were included in the accommodation fee (at the time of stay, it was 50,000 yen per night for 2 people) → No need to procure snacks at a convenience store - The sauna was also great → The hojicha (roasted green tea) löyly and relaxation chairs were nice - Breakfast is an 8-minute walk to a separate residence, and the surrounding townscape is pleasant, making for a good morning activity - A completely private space Here are the points of concern: - There is no TV in the room → Personally, I enjoyed the room's atmosphere more without a TV. This time, I didn't have much time to explore the town, so I definitely want to come back and stay again.

It was wonderful.
I enjoy traveling alone and was alone this time as well, but the room was so spacious that it felt like a waste for just one person. It was pouring rain on the day of my stay and the next morning, so I was very grateful to be picked up by car from the JR station and to have shuttle service to the breakfast venue. I was also very satisfied with the wonderful restaurant that was recommended for dinner. The only thing that scared me was the beautiful box stairs; I was quite nervous about the possibility of falling if I stumbled while half-asleep. Thanks to the attentive care of the staff, my stay was very comfortable. Thank you very much.

Everything is perfect.
As a Diamond member, I ordered a fruit platter. It was very delicious. Regarding the Room, I was impressed the moment I entered. There was plenty of space to relax and unwind!! Local ramen, water, and cider were in the refrigerator. The water was so delicious that it felt like I was drinking it for the first time!! The staff were also very kind, and it's a Hotel I would highly recommend!!

It was excellent!
There was a spray to get rid of mosquitoes in the room, so I used it before going out, and at night, a lot of gnats were scattered on the floor (lol). That was a bit disappointing, but everything else was great! The drinks were delicious, the room was clean, and we had a wonderful time. I'm glad the first place I stayed with my boyfriend was Minamo! Thank you for the cake too! It was delicious!

Insect
I stayed at Kagamidenzo 301. Ramen, soda, bar drinks, and tea snacks were prepared, and I stayed with excitement. I noticed a few dead insects, so I sprayed the provided insecticide and went out for dinner. After returning, although the room was closed, there were dozens of insects! Flies? They were dead. We cleaned up ourselves. This was the first time I had such an experience. We also cleaned in the morning. We had a Multiple Night Stay, but we cleaned up a large number of dead insects 2-3 times a day. We had saved up and planned to spend a relaxing time as a couple at a slightly nicer Stays. However, we felt very sad and disappointed by the poor hygiene. We couldn't even lie down on the tatami. Other than that, it is a very lovely Stays, and I would definitely like foreign guests to spend a relaxing time here. They should really take measures, whether it's putting up interior walls, doing special pest control, or reconsidering the management itself. It may be inevitable because it's an old building, but I don't want others to experience such unpleasant feelings. The second floor generally has insects fallen, but especially the back wall side has many insects. They probably come in through the gaps. Please make improvements.
