Pros and cons
Although the Reservation was under the Facility name “Moon and Sun,” I received emails from a place called Angel Forest Atami Shizenkyo. I was prompted to create a membership account, and there were many unexpected steps, so I suspected it might be phishing. I thought a QR code would be sent in advance, but instead I had to complete pre-check-in by email and then go to a separate location where the QR code was available. It was very confusing, time-consuming, and inconvenient. The Onsen tab would not come off, so I could not reheat the water. It was difficult to drain the water when it cooled down or on the next day of a Multiple Night Stay. The drum washer-dryer did not dry at all, and it made the laundry smell bad, so I had to wash things multiple times. Cleaning the filter helped a little, but in the end a fan dried better. The kitchen and other items were well equipped. Perhaps because many guests cook yakiniku (BBQ), there was still an odor in the Room from previous BBQ use.

I visited with frien...
I visited with friends. I loved the interior, and I was completely satisfied with everything, including the bedroom. The sunrise views from the living room and bedroom were especially amazing, and we had a wonderful start to the day. The sauna was also top-notch, and it was fantastic to be able to look up at the starry sky from the relaxation area. It was also great that we could enjoy it both in the morning and at night. I’d love to come again.

Enjoy a luxurious Onsen sauna experience with breathtaking views.
Stayed at "Moon and Sun ENA Atami" with a group of 8 men, and it was simply the best experience. The first thing that stood out was the traditional Japanese atmosphere of the renovated old house. The blend of warm wooden textures and modern design created a unique yet incredibly comfortable space. The sauna was perfect in both temperature and humidity, with aromatic löyly that felt amazing. From the spacious outdoor relaxation area, you can enjoy panoramic views of Atami's cityscape and ocean—city lights at night and a blue horizon in the morning offered an unparalleled sense of tranquility. The dining area features a large counter where friends can cook snacks right in front of you while enjoying drinks—a lively, fun way to share meals together. With Onsen, sauna, stunning views, delicious food, and drinks all in one place, this is truly the ultimate private villa experience! Definitely planning to return—it’s no surprise this place is so popular!

It was excellent.
All rooms were clean and smelled wonderful. The greenery in the courtyard or patio was absolutely beautiful, and above all, waking up to the ocean view was breathtaking. Most importantly, the sauna and Onsen provided exceptional hospitality. The luxurious facilities were truly impressive.

A pet-friendly rental villa perfect for sauna enthusiasts!
Surrounded by stylish interiors that make you think, "I wish I could live in a house like this!" and equipped with luxurious appliances, the entire stay was truly impressive. This time, one of our group brought their beloved small dog (only small dogs are allowed), and the accommodation was well-prepared with pet supplies such as dog bowls and toilet sheets. It was reassuring and comfortable for those traveling with pets. For sauna enthusiasts, the highlight is two types of authentic saunas. Both support self-loylyu and come with fragrant sauna scents. Multiple sauna hats and fluffy bath towels were provided, showing thoughtful attention to detail that we greatly appreciated. Additionally, there’s a washing machine with a drying function for post-sauna swimwear care—an ideal setup for sauna lovers. The saunas, interiors, and facilities exceeded expectations. Plus, it’s pet-friendly. This is an exceptional rental villa that we confidently recommend to both sauna enthusiasts and dog owners. We can’t wait to visit again!

I stayed with my colleagues. The sauna was absolutely amazing!!! There is also an Onsen and an open-air bath, making it the perfect space to relax. The entire accommodation is spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable! The ocean view was also fantastic. I would love to stay here again!!

The Ultimate Extraordinary Experience
We stayed as a group of five! Upon arrival, the entrance had a Ryokan-like atmosphere, exuding elegance, and stepping into the living room, we were amazed by the breathtaking view! The building itself is three stories high, and I thought children would absolutely love it! What impressed me the most was the Onsen and sauna!! There are two saunas, and you can step directly outside from the bath area to enjoy the view while relaxing! I experienced a private sauna for the first time ever—it was truly an extraordinary experience! This time I visited with friends, but I think it would also be perfect for spending quality time with family—parents or children. I’ll definitely visit again!

A comfortable villa offering breathtaking views of the moon and sun.
Drawn by the name "Moon and Sun," we stayed for two nights around the full moon. We visited in March and, true to its name, were able to admire both the moon and sun rising from the horizon of Sagami Bay. In addition to a deck, there was also a rooftop deck that could be called a "moon-viewing platform," offering breathtaking views. After reading reviews, we were initially concerned about cleanliness; however, every area—bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, deck—was impeccably clean and made our stay extremely comfortable. The sauna reached nearly 100°C and allowed us to fully enjoy löyly sessions. It was delightful that three different aromas were provided for morning, afternoon, and evening use. The bath on the deck was perfect for cooling off after using the sauna. The indoor onsen had excellent water quality that left our skin feeling smooth. The appliances were high-quality brands like Balmuda and met all our needs without inconvenience. Having both cold and hot water dispensers made hydration easy during our stay. There was even a shaved ice machine available—something that would surely be enjoyable in warmer seasons! Plenty of towels were provided as well; Imabari towels felt luxuriously soft against the skin. As noted on their website, there is quite a staircase leading from the road to the entrance—something worth checking beforehand—but since we found ourselves so comfortable in this accommodation with minimal need for outings beyond essential shopping trips, it wasn’t an issue for us. As someone who loves renting entire accommodations during travels, this place was absolutely perfect. I look forward to visiting again in another season!

An accommodation where you can feel Japanese harmony and want to visit again.
I had the pleasure of staying at EN ATAMI! The guest room had a luxurious Japanese-style design, was impeccably clean, and overall very impressive. The highlight for me was the island kitchen—it was so convenient and perfect for cooking while enjoying meals together! I wish I could have one like this at home! This time, I stayed with a large group of friends, and both the sauna and Onsen were amazing. We all enjoyed them together in a lively atmosphere—it was fantastic! I've never seen such a high-quality sauna in a vacation rental before; it left me speechless. Next time, I'd love to visit with my family for a relaxing stay!

A luxurious modern Japanese-style extraordinary space.
Absolutely amazing!! The property is three stories high, and with so many rooms, it felt like a fun secret base! As you enter the entrance, the mezzanine floor has a spacious living room and an incredibly large dining kitchen! We cooked our own meals while enjoying drinks, and the dining table and kitchen were absolutely perfect. There are four bedrooms in total, each separated for excellent privacy! We went as a group of seven this time, but it’s clear that up to 10 people can stay comfortably. It also seemed ideal for four couples. On the first floor downstairs, there’s even a wooden deck where you can have a barbecue! Although the weather was cloudy (luckily no rain), being able to barbecue even in bad weather was fantastic! There’s also an inner courtyard with bamboo growing in the center. One of us wasn’t Japanese and they absolutely loved the modern Japanese aesthetic. And then there’s more—downstairs in the basement is an authentic Onsen and sauna! There are three outdoor Onsen baths combined with two saunas that were simply incredible. The wooden deck here also had chairs lined up—perfect for sauna enthusiasts. We came by car (two cars) this time, and parking was super easy—plenty of space! The only challenge was driving about 10 minutes up mountain roads to get there. But because of that effort, we got breathtaking views of Atami cityscape and ocean from every floor—it was totally worth it! Definitely going back again!!

The cleaning is not thorough.
The Room, terrace, and jacuzzi were not thoroughly cleaned, which was disappointing.
