    The Ultimate Adult School Trip in West Izu

    Five of us—old friends—stayed here together. We missed the Hotel where check-in was supposed to be and came straight here, but since payment was already completed, we were allowed to enter as is. They showed us how to take the front-door key from the key box hanging on the door (like entering a care facility room!), and we got in without any trouble. For dinner, we considered going down to a local izakaya, but the view from the terrace was so beautiful that we decided on a BBQ instead, bought our own ingredients, toasted with the sunset sinking into the horizon as our backdrop, and fully enjoyed an adults-only school-trip vibe. The next morning, Hotel staff delivered a breakfast that left us completely full (French toast, hearty sausages, salad, yogurt, and coffee in a pot), which we also enjoyed while looking out at the deep-blue sea. The value probably changes quite a bit depending on the weather, but at JPY 20,000–30,000 per person with breakfast included, it felt well worth it. At our age especially, two things really matter: wanting private Rooms because snoring (yours or others’) can be an issue; and having a toilet in your Room for quick access at night. This Accommodation met both needs perfectly—and my companions praised my choice highly. Everyone says they want to come again.

    We had a wonderful time enjoying the view, having a BBQ, and relaxing in the Room. The Facility amenities were well stocked, and we would love to stay again.

    We were completely satisfied with everything—the location, the Room size, the bath facilities, and how well-equipped the terrace was! This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again next time. The sunset was also truly beautiful, and it soothed both our body and mind.

    Poor.

    I stayed on the “[Dinner & Breakfast Included / Hands-Free BBQ] Enjoy the outdoors with glamping! Savor locally sourced ingredients on the deck terrace” Plan. However, I was dissatisfied with what the Plan actually included. The “Sample BBQ Menu” listed “bread,” and it was also shown in photos, but it was not provided. When I asked a staff member, I was told that no staple food is included and that there is a rice cooker in the Facility, so guests should prepare their own. They said it was only a sample menu and may differ from what is served, but given that it is advertised as a “hands-free BBQ,” I found it extremely inconsiderate to provide no staple food. In addition, the staff response lacked sincerity, which was disappointing. I also had issues with the facilities: there was a large spider web left in the Room, so cleaning did not seem thorough. There was constant water noise coming from the air conditioner, making it uncomfortable to stay. As for tableware, we were instructed to “wash and put everything away after use,” which felt far removed from the convenience typically associated with glamping. There is a significant gap between what is described in the Plan and the actual service provided, so I do not plan to return. I cannot recommend this Accommodation or its affiliated properties.

    I used the facility ...

    I used the facility for a birthday celebration. I was very excited, but upon entering the room, I found a large number of insects in the bathroom. Although there was insect repellent spray available in the room, it was almost empty. The cushions and stuffed toys provided were also dirty, which was very disappointing. Improving these aspects would surely make guests happier.

    A fun Facility to enjoy on sunny days

    The facilities are sufficient. ① There is a rice cooker, but since the description mentioned "come empty-handed," I didn't bring any rice. The dinner menu stated bread as the main staple, but no bread was delivered. When I contacted them, they responded with surprise and said they would deliver it immediately. If I hadn't mentioned it, there would have been no staple food provided. ② There was an ice maker available, but when I tried to use it, water was already inside. Upon discarding the water, sludge had accumulated at the bottom and turned brown (the machine itself is white). After cleaning with detergent and disinfecting it thoroughly before making ice again, I decided not to consume it due to its unsanitary condition. This indicates that no maintenance is done after guests check out. ③ Despite advertising "come empty-handed," there were no complimentary bottled waters provided. Considering that accessing this facility requires climbing a steep hill (which becomes inaccessible on rainy days), it's not easy to go out just to buy water quickly. Providing a few bottles of water should be considered essential service for guests' convenience. ④ The sauna operates by burning firewood and pouring water over stones—a very comfortable experience overall! However, the zipper part of the sauna entrance is in poor condition without any repairs made; this gives off an unkempt appearance which surely isn't what paying guests expect from their stay here! While initially well-built upon opening years ago perhaps—the lackluster upkeep now leaves much disappointment behind regarding basic maintenance standards being neglected entirely. ⑤ In dining table areas where wind-blocking plastic curtains exist—they’ve become unusable due-to large holes forming around attachment points rendering proper setup impossible anymore altogether instead suggesting minor fixes using modern tools/products readily available today might suffice adequately enough improving functionality aesthetics alike simultaneously too! ⑥ My assigned accommodation happened situated adjacent noisy engine shed emitting constant loud humming sounds throughout day-night cycles disrupting peace quiet restful sleep quality severely affected negatively overall impression worsened further still unfortunately speaking volumes about operational inefficiencies requiring immediate corrective actions implemented promptly addressing underlying root causes effectively minimizing disturbances future occurrences altogether ideally moving forward henceforth accordingly thereafter conclusively resolved satisfactorily ultimately finally achieved successfully accomplished desired outcomes expected results attained fulfilled objectives met goals reached aspirations realized dreams materialized visions manifested purposes served missions completed tasks     Due to strong winds, we were unable to have a campfire.

    This was my first time using this service. It was my second time glamping; the first time was in winter in Kiso, Nagano, in a similar dome-shaped tent, and I was deterred by the freezing night. However, I visited here because there is a sauna and I wanted to enjoy a bonfire. Unfortunately, due to strong winds, we couldn't have a bonfire. However, I was informed of this not at the hotel check-in, but after arriving at the property about 10 minutes away by car, turning on the sauna switch, and preparing various things, I wondered why there was no firewood. When I called, I was told that due to strong winds, they couldn't provide firewood. It was a foreign staff member. I was disappointed. I was very disappointed that they didn't inform me at check-in. The sauna is tent-style. It takes time to warm up, and in well-equipped facilities, they sometimes have it ready for you, but not here. It took about 2 hours to reach 39 degrees. It was too low a temperature. Of course, I did the löyly as per the instructions, but the temperature didn't rise any further, so I gave up on the sauna. Oh, by the way, I also tried the small fan circulation mentioned in the review, but it didn't work. In the case of midwinter, is there any countermeasure? I came to enjoy the bonfire and sauna, and it was a total failure, which is very sad. Well, putting aside the disappointing things, I have to enjoy it. The room is very spacious and warm. There are two Daikin air conditioners, one at the entrance, so even the strongest cold wave is not a problem at full power. There is also a Sharp Plasmacluster humidifier, so it's reassuring. The bathroom is also spacious, with a shower, bubble bath, and jacuzzi, which are comfortable and automatic, so you can warm up anytime. The view from the bathtub is also nice. The room is so spacious and comfortable that it makes you wonder if it's really glamping. It's connected to the main building, so you can go directly to the toilet, washroom, and bath, which is nice. The refrigerator is separate from the freezer, and although it's small, it wasn't a problem. The coffee machine was from an unknown brand, but it wasn't bitter and was delicious. The bed is wide. There seems to be an additional charge if you use extra bedding. We were worried, so we brought two electric blanket-like items powered by a mobile battery for camping and placed them under the futon. It might be necessary in midwinter. Some people might be concerned about their skin if they sleep with the air conditioning on full power. We stayed in the room called SHOKOU, which was the farthest back, and since it faces east, you have to go outside and away from the building to see the sunset. The outdoor deck area is spacious. The bonfire space is also large, and although we couldn't use it, the cold bath is stylish and large. When we woke up in the morning, it was frozen.

    It was quite good!

    I used it a while ago! It was a cold season, and there was a last-minute discount, so I was able to stay at a very cheap price, which was a great deal!!! Please note that the front desk is located in a separate place! The way to lock the entrance was a bit confusing, but when I checked with the front desk, a foreign staff member came and responded properly and politely, which was nice! The inside was quite spacious with many beds, but it seems you are only allowed to use the ones you need, so those with children need to be careful! There are also two Onsen, one of which felt a bit lukewarm, but there is a kitchen and BBQ grills outside, and since we used it with three people this time, we were able to use the space quite freely and spaciously! The spacious balcony was the highlight, where we could enjoy a bonfire while watching the sunset, which was incredibly beautiful as it set on the horizon of the earth! Although it was a bit windy and cold, there were spare gas tanks for the BBQ grill, so we were able to enjoy a fun BBQ. Depending on the room you stay in, it seems you can even do some light fireworks in the parking area. At night, we used a room near the window, and since the sea breeze was about 6 meters at the time, the windows rattled, and the draft made the whole house a bit noisy. The slope to the Property is steep, so I thought it was indeed necessary to be careful on the way back! Since the checkout is also far away, I was unexpectedly short on time for cleaning up and got a bit flustered! Haha During the busy summer season, it seems you can use nearby pools, but during the cheap winter season, it was about 20,000 yen for three people including a child, so despite everything being spacious, I felt it was a great deal to stay! If I have the chance again, although it's a bit far, it was a Property I would like to stay at again!!!

    We had a luxurious time!

    I previously stayed at the villa of this Property with a friend and it was very nice, so this time I applied for the glamping Plan that I had been interested in for a while. The Room and deck were all incredibly stylish, and I was super excited. We were blessed with good weather, the air was fresh, and we had a very luxurious time. This time we brought our own ingredients, but I'm also interested in the meal-included Plan. I would love to visit again!

    I was very satisfied with the use of the property for the training camp.

    We used Blue Eden for our team retreat, a place we've been using for a while. We had a very meaningful time. We will use it again within the year.

    It became a wonderful memory.

    I used a whole house rental for the first time. I was surprised by the steep road leading up to it. The location was very good, and overall, I was able to relax, which was nice. However, the building was a bit old, and there were several things that needed renovation, such as an indoor gas stove that was broken and unusable, a poorly fitting front door lock, and one of the baths not getting warm. I was also concerned about the considerable amount of trash outside on the balcony. It seemed like a waste of such a great location. There were no vending machines nearby, and the refrigerator was not stocked with drinks, so I wish I had brought some for the morning. The dinner barbecue was plentiful, with more than we could eat. Meals were delivered for both breakfast and dinner, but personally, I would have preferred them to be brought a little earlier.
