    Wonderful moments

    The lodge surrounded by nature was very comfortable. I was especially soothed by the greenery visible from the back window. The staff were also friendly and wonderful. Every dish was delicious, made with local ingredients—like a salad of freshly picked vegetables from the garden. The tableware and presentation were beautiful as well, and you could really sense the chef’s taste. Honestly, I was surprised to find food this good in Hokkaido. Breakfast in an atmosphere that felt like the French countryside was particularly outstanding. We had a truly enjoyable time—thank you very much. I’d love to visit again in a different season. If I had to mention one concern... It was a bit difficult that there was no handrail on the lodge stairs. My socks slipped and I fell from the last step onto the floor (haha). I’m glad it wasn’t my elderly mother instead. I also thought it might be better to have a handrail in the bathroom as well.

    Travel as if you live there

    As the title suggests, I decided to embark on a journey. Perhaps it was this feeling that led me to choose Norheim for this trip. The attention to detail, artistic sense, and interior design that skillfully uses empty spaces and carefully selected decor—everything here invites you to touch and feel its charm. It made me think, "I want to live here." That's how captivating it is.

    This was my first time using this accommodation. The woman who guided me through the facility at the beginning was very polite and thorough, so I had no trouble and enjoyed a wonderful day. For dinner, we chose a barbecue with seafood, vegetables, meat, and even additional venison prepared for us. Everything was incredibly delicious and highly satisfying. The venison in particular had no gamey taste and was truly delightful. The accommodation itself was user-friendly with excellent amenities—truly outstanding. If there’s one regret, it’s that one night wasn’t enough! (laughs) Next time, I’ll make a reservation for two or more nights! I look forward to visiting during the snowy season next time!

    As we are not outdoo...

    As we are not outdoor enthusiasts, we were initially a bit puzzled by the environment here, but in the end, we enjoyed a stay that was different from our usual trips. The weather wasn't great, and there were many bugs outside that we're not fond of, which made us realize the challenges of being in nature. There was no Japanese-style hospitality like carrying luggage or seeing guests off at checkout (haha). It was slightly inconvenient that the lodge where we stayed and the restaurant were separate, but it was interesting to see lotus flowers blooming on the pond and encounter frogs and dragonflies along the way. The food featured fresh vegetables with just the right portions, and everything tasted delicious. I think it would be better to have a shoehorn at the entrance downstairs, and there was a slight odor from the bathroom drainpipe.

    It was excellent!

    This was my first time staying in a Vacation Rental. In the quiet lodge, we enjoyed roasting macarons over the campfire at night and created unforgettable memories for the kids. Thank you very much!

    It was amazing!!!!!!!

    I stayed at the property at the end of the year. It was snowing and very cold outside, but inside the room, there was a fireplace, making it warm and comfortable. On the balcony, there were also a fire pit, snowshoes, and down jackets available, allowing us to enjoy our time on the premises. The seafood hot pot for dinner was luxurious and very delicious. Thanks to the hospitable staff (the dog was adorable too), we had a wonderful time. It's a place I'd like to visit again in seasons with more greenery. It was truly amazing!!

    We stayed as a famil...

    We stayed as a family of four, with two children. It was a cold day with snow flurries, but we were able to stay warm with the wood stove and the high airtight and high thermal insulation of the Property. The walk in the dark forest at night, the wood stove, the records, and the squirrels playing on the deck in the morning were all first-time experiences for the children, making it a wonderful stay. We would like to visit again in a different season.
