    Excellent location

    The moment we opened the front door, the view that greeted us felt like a scene from abroad. The location was even better than the website, and we were truly impressed. On the way back, the Aqua-Line was closed due to an accident, so we took the Tokyo Bay Ferry from Kanaya to Kurihama instead. The ferry was comfortable too, and it made us feel as if we’d gone on an overseas trip with our dog. The toothbrush came with toothpaste already on it, so next time we’ll bring our own toothpaste. Since the bath doesn’t have a reheating function, you need to get in soon after filling it.

    We had a wonderful New Year's celebration with our family.

    This was our second stay. We stayed as a family of six. The room was very spacious, and the view of the sea right in front was stunning. We made an early reservation to spend New Year's here. Thanks to this, we had a truly wonderful time. Thank you very much!

    It's a lovely place, but...

    Before check-in, we received a thorough explanation, which eased our concerns. However, the unlocking app we downloaded for this stay could not connect to the Facility's Bluetooth and was unusable. After calling for assistance, the issue was resolved promptly and courteously. As for the Facility itself, it shows signs of age. For example, there were marks on the bathroom wall where a doorknob had indented it. There were several areas that seemed in need of repair or updates, which was disappointing. That said, the living area is very spacious and open. The kitchen is pleasant if you don't focus on minor details. The pool area, grassy space for dogs to run around in, and photogenic white deck overlooking an expansive ocean view are all highlights—it's truly a great place if you don't sweat the small stuff. The pool isn't very large but provided fun during our stay in hot weather; we floated leisurely and swam a bit. At night it's beautifully lit up with lights; however, one of two lights appeared to be broken and did not turn on—a shame. The most concerning aspect was the "bathroom" attached to the main bedroom. Its design is quite unusual with over half of its space being an empty expanse. The shower area has a curtain but due to its slope design water spills into this empty space where there’s no drain—it just pools there unnoticed against white tiles unless you're careful! Additionally regarding bathtub usage: A Western-style tub exists equipped only w/ short hose requiring manual holding otherwise detachment occurs making filling impractical especially inconvenient during wintertime bathing needs! Despite being large-sized accommodations pricing remains reasonable via limiting room access based upon group size while laundry dryer inclusion adds convenience assurance too! Note fewer amenities exist compared typical Vacation Rentals e.g., absence kitchen wrap/aluminum foil hence advisable inquire beforehand addressing such concerns pre-arrival preparations accordingly! In conclusion though lengthy review overall gratitude expressed enjoyable time spent alongside beloved dogs!

    Still amazing as always.

    We stayed here for the third time during our company trip in 2021, 2023, and 2025! It’s still an amazing place as always! Honestly, I don’t want too many people to know about it (haha). We rented bicycles at Chikura Station, shopped at a nearby supermarket, and pre-ordered a sashimi platter of local fish from a nearby fish shop before heading over. When we arrived, the air conditioning was already on for us, the room was clean, and above all else—the location is unbeatable! The pool was at a comfortable temperature and very clean. The kitchen had plenty of plates and cutlery. I also appreciated that the trash bins were separated for recycling. It’s quiet here, and the night sky full of stars is breathtaking! No complaints whatsoever! If I may make one small request... having plastic wrap available would be great (haha). Since we always stay just one night... next time we’ll aim for two nights! Thank you again this year! We’ll definitely come back!

    The view from the ro...

    The view from the room is excellent on a clear day, but here are some concerns: 1. The location of the light switches is hard to find. While it’s mentioned in the instructions, it’s unexpected that the bathroom switch is inside the closet. 2. The hairdryer is in the bathroom, but there’s no outlet there, making it unusable in that space. 3. There’s no faucet directly attached to the bathtub, so water has to be filled using the showerhead, which takes time due to low water pressure. Additionally, because of an old brass stopper for the tub, water leaks slightly over time. Limited placement of shower curtains causes water to splash around and makes surfaces slippery. 4. The closet on the first floor smells musty and damp. 5. The mattress on the extra bed is too firm and uncomfortable for sleeping. 6. The TV remote was missing initially and later found under a bed where it was hard to reach. 7. Check-in instructions were sent a day before arrival; however, they should include a reminder about unlocking door access as it's easy to forget after installing an app during reservation made over a month ago—this caused inconvenience when trying to recall details last minute by phone call without much hospitality shown nor confirming whether access worked properly. Having used Airbnb across various countries based upon positive reviews elsewhere raised expectations higher than reality delivered this time around unfortunately!
