The Room was clean, and the Facility amenities were well-equipped, which was great. Since we stayed with two dogs, it would have been even better if we could sleep together with them.

    Wonderful Accommodation

I stayed at “Tsunagaru Terrace” with my three daughters. Check-in and check-out were a new style for us, completed via email and PC rather than in person. It wasn’t difficult, but we took a little time to get used to it. The Room was very spacious, stylishly furnished with Facilities and appliances, and felt very clean. The MARKS & WEB amenities smelled wonderfully of lavender, though the hair care products didn’t quite suit me. The pet Room was very spacious and next to the bedroom, so our Chihuahua seemed able to sleep peacefully. Even though it was during a typhoon, the rain wasn’t too bad. We enjoyed the sauna and relaxed while listening to music via Bluetooth. I’d also love to try a BBQ on the covered terrace if we have another chance to stay. We also enjoyed watching movies on the big screen and had a great time overall. Thank you very much.

We were able to relax and enjoy our stay with three generations of our family and our dog.

This was our first time staying here. From opening and closing the gate at the entrance to unlocking the villa door, everything is operated by guests using a PIN code, so we were a little confused at first, but we were able to complete check-in without any issues. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The provided rice cooker and toaster oven were also top-quality. We booked with dinner and breakfast included: BBQ for dinner and Japanese-style breakfast. Only the ingredients are prepared, and guests do all the cooking. What surprised us was how delicious every ingredient was—meat, vegetables, rice, eggs, dried fish, etc. Everything tasted great. In particular, the sirloin grilled over charcoal was tender and outstanding without feeling greasy. The garden was spacious as well; our 1-year-old grandchild and our dog happily ran around. The treehouse concept is also fun. We also fully enjoyed the sauna—it was very comfortable. Having a private sauna was great because we could relax without worrying about other people. There were a few things that concerned us. You enter using provided indoor slippers in the Room, but they were clearly reused slippers that didn’t feel clean; we would have preferred disposable ones. There are also outdoor slippers provided, but those were worn out as well and honestly didn’t feel very hygienic. Even switching to Crocs-style footwear would have felt cleaner. I understand maintaining such a large garden must be difficult, but fallen leaves had been left all over the artificial turf, making it look unmaintained. The treehouse idea is interesting too, but it seemed barely maintained—there were spider webs everywhere and lots of fallen leaves; plus the hammock on the top level wasn’t in usable condition. We felt the garden could have been better cared for overall. That said, three generations of our family—and our dog—were able to relax and enjoy a slow stay together.

A place you’ll want to come back to.

No matter when you stay, the thorough cleaning makes it a comfortable place to spend time. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you won’t have any trouble, and BBQ tools are also provided. When we met the staff at the gate at checkout, they kindly saw us off, and we felt great until the very end—we’d love to stay again!

    Perfect for a relaxing getaway!

We stayed here at the end of February. It was a bit chilly, but we were still able to enjoy a barbecue. We had planned to go with five friends, but one came down with the flu and we ended up staying with four at the last minute. They accommodated the change in guest count on the same day—thank you so much. Three of us were pregnant, so it was great to have a relaxing trip. The Room was clean and we were very satisfied. Next time, we’d love to stay again with all five of us plus our children!

We stayed at “Tsukikago” for three nights. The center of the dining table features an irori hearth, so we were able to enjoy BBQ and hot pot. With a large kotatsu in the living room and a hanging chair upstairs, we truly had a blissful time. We were also happy to have access to repeat-guest discounts and Diamond member perks. However, since the washing machine is not a drum type, it was disappointing that it took quite a long time from washing to drying. Overall, it was very comfortable, and we would love to stay again.

    It was amazing!

Although it was a cold day when we stayed, the Room was warm thanks to the wood-burning stove, and the view from the Room was amazing! We would love to stay again with our family.

    Cleanliness

The size and Facilities were appealing, and it was an attractive vacation rental. The building is very large, and with a private dog run, you can stay with your dog without worrying about the surroundings. Having a dedicated dog area with a dirt-floor space in the bedroom, as well as a front-loading washer/dryer, were especially appreciated for guests traveling with dogs. However, overall I felt that cleaning and hygiene management were insufficient. There was a large buildup of soap scum in the washing machine’s automatic detergent dispenser, and the dryer still had visible marks as if it had been touched with oily hands. The facial cleanser amenity also had heavy soap scum on the inside of the lid when opened, which made me hesitant to use it. Some dishes still had residue that appeared to be from previous guests (like yakiniku sauce). The dish sponge was clearly used as well, which raised hygiene concerns. It made me reluctant to cook or wash dishes. It seemed that many traces of prior guests remained, suggesting that cleaning did not reach detailed areas. Also, despite being promoted as a highlight, the private dog run had many fallen leaves and weeds and did not feel well maintained. In addition, partially used condiments such as yakiniku sauce and cooking oil—items that go into your mouth—were left out, which concerned me from a hygiene standpoint. I would have felt more comfortable if these were single-use items or unopened supplies. The spaciousness, layout, and dog-friendly concept are great overall, which is why it was disappointing to see issues with cleaning and supply management.

    Sky Garden

This was our first time staying here. The deciding factor for us was the large dog run. It’s designed like a walk through the mountains, and you can make a full loop around it. If you have a small, energetic dog, please be careful near the entrance by the garage—there may be a chance they could slip out under the fence. It’s truly spacious, and our two dogs were thrilled. They ran off in different directions, and it was hard to keep up with them. The interior had a calm, stylish atmosphere, and the lighting was pleasantly dim and relaxing. At home we sleep with our dogs, so this time we tried having them sleep separately using the partition (still in the same space). But it didn’t work—they cried… So we spread our own blanket across four living room chairs and slept there (one person + two dogs)… meaning we didn’t use the bed at all. My husband ended up sleeping on chairs too. If possible, I’d love to see a Plan that allows dogs to sleep on the bed. If we still can’t use the bed next time, we’ll bring a mattress again—honestly, as long as our dogs are happy. They were running around outside nonstop. The sauna warmed up slowly; since it was cold season, it felt lukewarm near your feet. Sitting with your knees hugged to your chest helped, and sitting farther from the entrance was even better. The jacuzzi was great. The warm air in the shower room was excellent, and having a washing machine to do laundry right away was also very convenient. Overall, it was very good. We would definitely stay again.

    Excellent!

We enjoyed Soraniwa over the New Year holidays with eight people and one pet. The Room was very clean, and it even had a sauna and a jacuzzi—everything we needed. The BBQ terrace was also fully prepared with charcoal, a grill grate, and more, so we didn’t need to bring anything.\nWe wished we could have stayed one more night.\nIt was such a fun New Year holiday.

Was it just a coincidence? Or was it bad timing?

After reading other reviews, my expectations before staying were high. I have never written a review before, but I felt so disappointed this time that I decided to post one for the first time. From the images, I had the impression that the garden (dog run) was fully covered with grass. However, in reality, most of the area was bare and patchy. Perhaps due to recent weather conditions before our stay, there were exposed muddy patches of soil. I climbed up to the tower as well, but since no trees had been trimmed or maintained, there was no view to enjoy—only leaves and branches in sight. There were two lint rollers provided; however, they ran out after peeling off just one sheet each and no replacements could be found. The tissue supply was also minimal and quickly ran out without any spares available. Overall, it felt like maintenance and care for both facilities and supplies were lacking. Instructions on how to use certain amenities or items were unclear as well; we had to figure things out through trial and error. Perhaps if approached with a camping mindset this accommodation would suffice; however, considering its cost—which is not comparable—I do not plan on staying here again in the future. While I understand it may be a business model focused on reducing costs including labor expenses for higher profit margins, my honest opinion is that allocating more resources towards user comfort and environmental upkeep would make for a much more pleasant experience.

    Used for a birthday celebration.

Stayed one night with my husband and our dog for his birthday! It was a surprise, and he was very happy. I enjoyed the sauna more than he did, but the outdoor sauna and water jacuzzi were definitely better than the one we have at home. With check-out at 11 AM, we could enjoy a morning sauna too—such a blissful time! Since we had our dog with us, we took turns using the facilities. The only downside is that Child Sharing Existing Bedding is not allowed. Even an affordable futon option would make this place unbeatable for stays with pets compared to anywhere else we've been! I really hope this can be changed somehow. That said, I’d love to stay here again. We brought our own food, but they provided firewood, charcoal, grills, and even seasonings—it really helped reduce what we needed to bring along! There are stairs from the parking lot to the building; if you have a lot of luggage like us, it might take multiple trips back and forth—that part was a bit tiring. During this season there were many insects; I got bitten by small mites which made me worry about my dog (though protected against fleas/ticks). We kept checking him while playing outside just in case. They also sold beetles on-site—kids might love that since it's rare these days! I'd like to visit again during colder seasons too. Awaji Island has many accommodations allowing Child Sharing Existing Bedding—so honestly that's my only wish here!

    There is a pet-friendly Room.

I stayed here for a family trip with my Toy Poodle. I chose this Room because I was worried about disturbing others if my dog barked, and I wanted to stay together as a family. Since we had a dog, we stayed in a room with a connected terrace garden. There was a designated space for the dog separated by a fence at the edge of the bedroom. Although my dog whimpered during the night, he calmed down and slept quietly when I spoke to him. Other Rooms probably had better views, but our terrace garden was located on a slope near the highway. In summer, it felt secluded due to dense greenery—but that has its own charm too! The jacuzzi bath offered privacy without feeling exposed, and the sauna was new and very relaxing—perfect for unwinding! The kitchen was an island type and very convenient to use. Since stores selling ingredients were far away, it's best to stock up beforehand. Amenities were from Mark & Web, which I absolutely love! The towels were fluffy too. The ceramic rice bowls and coffee cups were beautiful—such great taste! I left impressed by their sense of style overall!

    Excellent!

We stayed for one night to celebrate our beloved dog's birthday. The sauna, jacuzzi, and the ample amount of food allowed us to relax and unwind. Both the dog and we were extremely satisfied, making it an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable experience.

    It was really great.

Wow, it was really great. The dog run and garden were spacious, giving the feel of a villa in the forest. There was also a sauna, jacuzzi, and washing machine. There were no pajamas. Well, it was good. The projector was difficult to use, so I would prefer a TV. I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

We stayed with our two dogs and as a couple. We were initially anxious about using a vacation rental Facility for the first time, but seeing our dogs run around the spacious garden made us feel happy. We also enjoyed a relaxing time lighting a firewood and savoring its aroma. We would love to use it again if we have the opportunity. Thank you very much.
