A yearly tradition for returning guests.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve visited Kominka Tanaka. With a pool, sauna, spacious kitchen, large-group dining kitchen, a roomy bath, and even an open-air bath, plus a washer-dryer and amenities—everything is thoughtfully provided. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back right away. This time we had a lively adults-only stay, but one night flew by—next time I’d like to stay for two nights.

We stayed with three people, and both the Room and the garden were spacious, so we had a very comfortable time. The detailed explanation of the Facility was also very helpful. We were able to enjoy a wonderful holiday. Thank you very much.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable time.
We stayed for one night with two adults and one child. Although the website explanation was brief and made us a bit anxious when making the Reservation, the staff responded kindly to our email inquiries beforehand, and we received a thorough explanation during check-in, which gave us peace of mind. The Facility and amenities were clean, the backyard and pool were spacious, and we could enjoy stargazing at night. We had a relaxing time throughout our stay. However, trying to use everything like the sauna or fire pit in just one night felt rushed; staying for two nights would be ideal. Additionally: While coffee beans were provided as a service, there was no milk or sugar available—adding these would be helpful. There was no lighting in the backyard; small decorative lights near the fire pit area would enhance its usability at night. From pre-arrival inquiries to check-in and even taking commemorative photos at checkout, all staff members were welcoming and helped make our stay enjoyable. Thank you very much!

We stayed as two fam...
We stayed as two families. The Room was clean and spacious, and the pool was large, which made the children very happy. In the evening, it got a bit chilly, so we enjoyed alternating between the sauna and the pool. There were baths both indoors and outdoors that we also used. Although there was an unexpected delay in our arrival due to a train stoppage and one additional person joined from the second day on short notice, the staff kindly accommodated us. It became a wonderful summer vacation memory for us.

We stayed as a group of 6 adults. The space was ample, the cleanliness was excellent, and we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you for your kind assistance with our inquiries beforehand and guidance on the day of arrival. We would love to stay here again!

The Best Memories
We stayed for one night and two days with two families, and it became the best memory. The renovated traditional house was wonderful, and the BBQ, bonfire, sauna, and pool were all very luxurious. We would definitely like to use it again if we have the opportunity!

The facility exceeded my expectations.
The actual facility exceeded my expectations based on the images and descriptions on the web. First and foremost, I was amazed by the spaciousness of the grounds, and I was very satisfied with the thorough cleaning, amenities, and the service provided by the person who guided us at the reception and around the facility. Since it was a one-night stay, it went by in a flash. Next time, I definitely want to stay for two nights or more.
