    Perfect for a nearby summer retreat

    Located just a two-hour journey from Osaka, this area was the perfect destination. On the way, we stopped at the roadside station Miyama to enjoy their original ice cream. Check-in started at 1:00 PM, and this early check-in time allowed us to relax more. Additionally, depending on reservation availability, paid options for early check-in or late check-out are offered, making it easy to plan various schedules. The Yura River right in front of us provided a private atmosphere as described. We enjoyed swimming in the shallow areas and fishing while exploring nature in different spots. Our dog who accompanied us also seemed very happy. It is said that fireflies dance around in June—if given the chance, I would love to visit again!

    Perfect accommodation for large groups.

    We visited with a large group of 10 people, including my family, my sister-in-law's family, and my daughter's family, plus two dogs. The traditional Japanese house offered a spacious layout with features like a long veranda, a large garden, a barbecue space, and even a terrace—all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Inside the accommodation, there was an irori-style living room with a sunken hearth at its center, an easy-to-use kitchen setup for cooking together, and even a bar counter where we laughed over life advice while taking turns playing "mom." There was also an impressively designed karaoke room that added to the fun. Everyone—from high schoolers to university students to adults—found their own favorite spots to enjoy! During the barbecue session, the dads were thrilled by the ice-cold beer glasses. We also requested draft beer from the server system available on-site—it’s highly recommended! As for facilities, there were thoughtful touches like high-end hair dryers in the bathroom that delighted our daughters. However, there were some minor disappointments. A relative mentioned being surprised when they found out that what was supposed to be 24-hour bath access had turned into cold water by morning; maintaining consistent water temperature would be appreciated. Additionally, while staff kindly came in during the evening to say goodbye until morning with “we’ll leave you now,” it would have been helpful if they could have prepared bedding for us at that time as setting up everything from sheets ourselves was slightly inconvenient. Overall though—it was an excellent accommodation experience! We’d love to stay again in the future.

    It was excellent!

    We stayed with our family of four and one dog at the new building, In The Breeze. On the day we arrived, snow had fallen, and the view from the Room was incredibly beautiful. We had a great time experiencing things we don't usually do, like baking pizza in the pizza oven and having dinner around the hearth! Having karaoke in the Room was also very nice. Since it was soundproof, the kids enjoyed singing even at night. I was a bit concerned about having to wash the dishes during the trip, but the dishwasher cleaned them so quickly that it wasn't a hassle at all! There was also a washer with a dryer, so we could do laundry, which was great! Since there were no guests staying the next day, we extended our checkout by four hours (5,000 yen per hour), allowing us to relax in the morning. The staff were kind, and we would love to visit again in a different season. Thank you for taking care of us.

    Exclusive use of the entire building is the best!

    We stayed with 7 friends! As soon as we arrived, everyone cheered and scattered around the house to explore, laughing. The Facility had a gas fireplace and floor heating, keeping us warm. Since it was midwinter, we couldn't have a barbecue outside, but we enjoyed grilling fish and vegetables on skewers at the hearth! We were also delighted to receive a barrel of sake as a New Year's gift upon arrival. The karaoke room was particularly great! The massage chair was also nice! A bit disappointing was that the speaker and Dyson hairdryer were broken and couldn't be used (the speaker was replaced immediately). The cocktail bar had only a little of the liqueur we wanted to drink, so we couldn't have it. Coming from the Fukui area, the navigation led us to a forest road, and due to the snow, we couldn't proceed and had to turn back and take a detour, which delayed our arrival by an hour and a half. It would have been helpful if we were informed in advance about impassable roads. Despite writing about various minor details, overall, it was incredibly good! It would have been perfect with a sauna, haha. We accidentally broke a glass, but they kindly said it was okay! The service was excellent! Next time, I hope to have a barbecue outside and bake pizza in the pizza oven during the cherry blossom season! Thank you for taking care of us for two days! It's a place I would definitely recommend!

    I was able to fully enjoy the three-day weekend.

    As it is a whole rental of a traditional Japanese house, it was full of privacy, and the facilities were well-equipped, including a telescope and karaoke, allowing the family to enjoy. Pets are allowed, but there are almost no pet-related facilities, so you need to bring your own. Also, all seasonings and such are charged, so if you don't bring them, they will be charged. The price is quite high, so I thought it would be better if seasonings, charcoal, and firewood were included. Overall, I was satisfied and would like to use it again.

    Miyama Terrace In The Breeze

    We used the facility with company members. The room was thoroughly cleaned, and we were able to spend our time very comfortably. The only disappointment was the early checkout time. If there is no reservation for the next day, it is possible to extend for 5,000 yen per hour. However, if there is no reservation for the next day, an extension of up to one hour is free. After that, if it could be 5,000 yen per hour, it would feel like a great deal. In the morning, it can be particularly hectic for women. Even more so if you have children. I think the early check-in time results in an early checkout, but I would be very happy if that could be improved. Also, it would be even better if the entry 30 minutes before checkout could be changed to 10 minutes before. Other than that, we were very satisfied! Thank you for a wonderful time.

    We stayed with 6 fam...

    We stayed with 6 family members and 1 dog. It was raining, so we couldn't have a barbecue outside, but we still had plenty of fun inside the facility. We were happy that they treated our dog kindly. Thank you very much.
