    This was our second ...

    This was our second stay, following last year, and we were very satisfied. The mountain road to the Accommodation seemed better lit than last year, so we felt safe even at night. We were also glad to have the unexpected chance to chat with the owner. Summer really is the best. We’ll be back again.

    It was a relaxing experience.

    The view from the Room was amazing. Although it is located near the sea, being at a high elevation provided an exceptional view. You could clearly see the Enoshima lighthouse and observe the state of the ocean. The Room was spacious with lovely furniture. There was a record player, and the collection of records was impressive as well. Attention to detail could be felt in amenities like soap and shampoo. The sweets prepared during Hotel check-in were delightful, and I was touched by the strawberry treat provided. The complimentary drinks in the refrigerator were also a nice touch. There were just a few points of concern: It was really difficult to find the location of the Hotel, so having signs along the way would be helpful. Especially since there wasn’t any sign even upon arrival at what seemed to be the building, it took some time to confirm if it was indeed correct or not. As my check-in time was at night, navigating became more challenging; providing more detailed instructions beforehand via message would have been appreciated. Additionally, while I enjoyed using the bath, the water temperature didn’t go above 44 degrees Celsius which made it slightly cold considering that it's an outdoor bath area. I considered taking a morning bath but decided against it due to feeling chilly. However, being able to see the ocean from there added value. It also took me some time to figure out how to get hot water from the shower, and I struggled with opening/closing glass doors between shower space and bathtub. Having manuals for these features might enhance satisfaction further—something for future improvement. Despite all this feedback, it truly is a wonderful Hotel. With its high basic standards addressed already, resolving clarity issues here and there would make this place even better!

    The quality of the r...

    The quality of the rooms was high, and overall, it was a satisfying accommodation. However, access was challenging with steep slopes and narrow paths that were difficult to navigate. It felt dangerous at night or during snow and rain. Implementing safety measures such as streetlights would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, since it’s not easy to go out shopping casually, having coffee available would be a nice touch. Thank you for your hospitality. I would love to visit this accommodation again.
