A Private House with Views of Miyajima
This was my first trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima since my high school trip, and it was my husband’s first time in Hiroshima. We wanted a relaxing stay, so we chose a Vacation Rental. The beautiful traditional house, the spacious layout (almost too luxurious for two), and the floor plan that let us unwind while looking out at Miyajima from the veranda and living room were all wonderful.<br> The garden also looks like it must take a lot of work to maintain, but it was very well cared for and lovely.<br> One thing I regret is not checking in advance: road noise.<br> Because the property faces a busy multi-lane road with heavy traffic throughout the day, you can hear it quite clearly in the bedroom, near the large scenic windows in the living room, and in the veranda and tatami rooms.<br> Given the location there isn’t much that can be done about it, but I think it’s worth keeping in mind when you Reserve.

Father’s Day Trip
We stayed here as a family of five for a short Father’s Day getaway. The house overlooks a beautiful garden, and we were able to relax completely. The interior was very clean, and the Isamu Noguchi lighting, indirect lighting, Room(s), and garden were all beautifully arranged with a wonderful atmosphere. The exposed ceiling beams added warmth and character. The kitchen was spacious and spotless, with well-stocked tableware—perfect for plating brought-in meals nicely. We also really appreciated the high-quality hanger stand and hangers—small details like that made a big difference. The chairs and tables were lovely as well, and the overall sleek modern design blended perfectly with the traditional Japanese farmhouse style, creating a comfortable space throughout. We enjoyed spending time at our own pace in such an open, relaxing setting, and our whole family was very satisfied. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

They helped create two unforgettable days for our family.
Our children, who live in different places, were able to gather here and create lasting memories. It was such a luxurious experience that it’s hard to put into words. For future guests: from the parking area to the entrance there is a gentle slope, but also just under 20 steps, so wheelchair users should take care. We also received emails before our stay to confirm our requests—truly attentive service throughout.

Hidden Gem Accommodation Near Miyajima: Ajinotei
When attending a conference in Hiroshima City, I usually stay at a hotel in the city. This time, I attended the event with my son and made a reservation at the accommodation "Ajinotei," which I had been curious about for some time. I had checked their website beforehand and arranged with the owner to reserve a special sushi and Italian course meal included in their plan. After finishing the city conference, we arrived in about 30 minutes. The Japanese garden and serene Seto Inland Sea view exceeded what I saw on their website. Passing through the charming entrance curtain, we checked into an elegant building featuring a spacious entrance hall and decorative shelves that exude luxury. The renovation incorporated old beams and traditional-style windows along the veranda, creating an atmospheric design. The garden view from inside the room combined with Seto Inland Sea scenery is top-notch. The furniture and appliances are stylish, while the cypress bath provided an extraordinary experience. Although we slept on beds, there is also space to sleep in tatami rooms—perfect for families as well! Additionally, it takes only about 5 minutes by car to reach Miyajima Pier, making this accommodation ideal for sightseeing purposes too!
