  It was a wonderful place.

  Thank you very much for your kind and attentive assistance, even though it was late at night. I accidentally booked a pet-friendly cabin and was concerned about pet odors, but there were none, and I had a very comfortable stay. I was also worried about the tableware, but I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety available. Next time, I would like to stay with meals included. Thank you again.

  Thank you very much for staying at Tokyu Vacations Yamanakako. We also sincerely appreciate you taking the time to post such a warm Review. On the day of your arrival, it was quite late, and we imagine you must have been tired from your long journey. Even so, we are truly delighted to hear that you were able to relax and feel at ease during your stay. We understand that you had accidentally made a Reservation for a pet-friendly Room and were concerned beforehand about odors and similar issues. However, we were relieved to receive your comment that you “were able to stay very comfortably.” Thank you as well for your kind words that you would like to stay with meals next time. Unfortunately, our Facility offers only the No Meals Included Plan. That said, so that you can enjoy a villa-style stay, we provide a wide selection of cooking utensils and tableware. You are welcome to bring your favorite ingredients and enjoy cooking, and our log cabins are equipped with a dedicated BBQ grill so everyone can relax and enjoy BBQ together. In addition, our on-site restaurant offers a “BBQ Ingredient Set” that you can enjoy without bringing anything (advance Reservation required by 6:00 PM two days prior; restaurant closed on certain days). We would be grateful if you would consider this option on your next visit. We will continue striving to provide comfortable, memorable stays amid the rich natural surroundings of Lake Yamanaka. All of us look forward to welcoming you again.

  We stayed for one ni...

  We stayed for one night with a family of four and one cat. The room was spotless, and we were very satisfied with the service, dinner, and breakfast. It was our first time using a wood stove, which turned out to be a great experience. If I had to mention something, the vacuum cleaner was old and difficult to use; a lighter stick-type model would have been better. Even so, accommodations that allow pets like cats are rare, and we were extremely satisfied. We would love to stay again during the summer BBQ season. Thank you very much!

  Dimly Lit Cottage

  Dimly lit cottages that differ from the photos on the website, located in a dense forest with multiple cottages closely adjacent, creating an eerie atmosphere. While indoor facilities are well-maintained and functional, features like a useless loft, unnecessary decorative shelves, a tiny TV, and nightstands without outlets make it less convenient. There is a fireplace available, so it might be more enjoyable during winter when the leaves have fallen and the area could feel brighter overall. Additionally, the coffee service in the management building's lobby being available only after 10:00 AM (post-checkout) in the morning and until 5:00 PM in the evening seemed quite puzzling.

We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet your expectations due to differences in the guest room, amenities, and surrounding environment from your initial image. Please note that the surrounding cottages outside of Tokyu Vacations, including the Center House (management building), are managed by a timeshare villa company called "Pheasant Yamanakako." While you may have found it unsettling, rest assured that this area is under proper management by a reputable company. We value all feedback received and will use it to make improvements while ensuring that our facility images and information align with guests' expectations.
