  I was able to relax.

  We stayed with four adults and were able to relax comfortably. Outside the window, we could see trees and the waterfront, surrounded by nature. The Room facilities and location were excellent, and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. There are no dining options on-site, so we ate freely at our favorite restaurants, but for breakfast we bought ingredients at a supermarket and cooked for ourselves. If I had to mention one drawback, there was a persistent cigarette smell—perhaps because outside air is brought in—which was unpleasant; otherwise it felt perfect.

We are delighted to hear that your party of four was able to relax comfortably, and we truly appreciate your kind words about the natural scenery and our staff. We are also pleased that you enjoyed dinner at your favorite restaurant and prepared breakfast in the kitchen—making the most of a stay style unique to our Accommodation. However, we sincerely apologize for any discomfort caused by the smell of cigarette smoke during your stay. Upon confirmation, the area around your Room is designated as non-smoking, and smoking on balconies is also prohibited. We want all guests to enjoy Karuizawa’s fresh air with peace of mind, so if anything similar occurs during a future stay, please do not hesitate to contact the front desk so we can check and respond promptly. While there may have been areas where we fell short, we will continue striving every day to provide a fully satisfying stay. We look forward to welcoming you again when you visit Karuizawa.

  Humidifier

  The air conditioning can make the room very dry. A humidifier is essential during winter, but it is available for rent at an additional cost. Please pick it up at the front desk. We believe this should be a vacation experience where such amenities are provided in-room free of charge for added comfort. We hope you have a pleasant and comfortable bedroom experience.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the room's air conditioning during the dry winter season. As you pointed out, we are aware that indoor dryness in winter requires effective humidification measures. Currently, humidifiers are available on a limited basis and provided upon request; however, we take your suggestion that "humidifiers should be standard in guest rooms" as an important point to enhance the comfort of our accommodations. We will review our equipment placement, rental methods, and service offerings to provide a more comfortable environment moving forward. Additionally, we deeply appreciate your high evaluation of other aspects of our facility, which serves as great encouragement to all our staff members. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.   Highly recommended, including the location!

  It is very well maintained, and both the Room and amenities are easy to use. Considering the price, including the location, I highly recommend it! You can walk to the outlet, as well as the old Karuizawa and the Mampei Hotel. On the day of checkout, there was a bit of snow, but the staff shoveled the snow from the morning, which was very admirable. I would love to visit again!

As a condominium, we have equipped our Facility with amenities and supplies so that you can feel at home during your stay. It is a Property where you can enjoy a more economical stay when used by groups or multiple people. We are pleased to hear that you took advantage of our location, just a 15-minute walk from Karuizawa Station, to visit various spots. There are many spots to enjoy within a 30-minute walking distance, so please stay with us again with your dog and everyone as a base for your favorite or curious spots.
