    It was a wonderful accommodation.

    Our family of four stayed for one night. We had all been looking forward to this day. When we arrived at the Hotel, the staff welcomed us with smiles and showed us to our Room, which made us even more excited. The Room was larger than it looked in the photos, and it was furnished with tasteful pieces such as a sofa, table, and artwork—we were thrilled. Outside the window were a pool, a jacuzzi, and a BBQ grill with a table and chairs. They also explained how to use everything and told us there was a private beach down the stairs leading to the sea. After lunch, we went down to the beach right away. The outdoor stairs were spiral stairs, so it was a little scary going down while looking below, but the water at the beach was very clear, and both our dog and kids had an amazing time playing. Although it was described as a private beach, there were a few other tourists there. The pool felt a bit early for the season—it was cold enough that we could only manage up to waist depth and didn’t really swim. Instead, we enjoyed the jacuzzi since it had warm water; we got in with our kids in swimsuits using float rings. It truly felt like an escape from everyday life, and we were glad we came. All meals were stocked in the refrigerator; we cooked them ourselves and enjoyed everything deliciously. It was also great to see squirrels coming down from the mountain. The sunset was beautiful, and we could clearly see Mt. Fuji’s silhouette as well. There was a sign saying only guests may enter the private beach area and that non-guests would be reported if they entered; however, I did wonder about security—there are huge windows (they do lock), but that point concerned me slightly. Overall, this is an Accommodation where we’d love to stay again as a family. Thank you very much to everyone at “the house” for taking care of us over these two days. It cost less than taking our family to Disneyland, plus we got to enjoy nature—an extremely satisfying trip for us all.

    A Long-Awaited Family Vacation

    We visited to enjoy a family vacation. THE HOUSE has wonderful taste. From the moment we stepped inside, we fell in love with the ocean view stretching across the entire window. We were also captivated by the sight of Mt. Fuji glowing in the sunset, and couldn’t stop taking photos. There was an original photo book casually placed there, and when we opened it, inspiring words appeared, which conveyed the lovely thoughts behind this place when it was built. Since it was Golden Week, Aburatsubo and Misaki Port were crowded, but coming back felt like returning to a secluded private villa where we could truly rest and enjoy the quiet. Also, at a Hotel or Ryokan you can feel slightly rushed about breakfast times, so it was great to spend relaxed “THE HOUSE time” without that. Our dog could also stretch out and seemed very happy. Thank you very much.

    An accommodation you'll want to revisit again and again.

    The furniture and room ambiance are all stylish, and the staff are friendly, making this an accommodation I would love to visit again. Although the shabu-shabu stove stopped working during dinner, they promptly brought a new one when contacted, which was very reassuring. Their reliable handling of issues is one of the reasons I want to return. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great this time, so I hope to visit again on a sunny day.

    Just for one night, but...

    I have stayed at the HOUSE several times, but this was my first time at this facility! I was really looking forward to it. The result... I ended up extending my stay from one night to two nights (haha). Here are some highlights in this review: - A spacious area big enough for a game of catch. - Four beds. - A giant screen. - A jacuzzi that seems to fit 4–6 people. - An infinity pool (skipped it this time because it was cold). - Sauna with löyly feature. And most importantly, an amazing private beach surrounded by cliffs where no one else can enter! (Unlike other places that claim to have private beaches but still allow others access, here we truly enjoyed a completely private space just for the two of us.) I definitely want to come back in summer... Now for a couple of minor downsides: - Weak Wi-Fi connection (it kept disconnecting when I connected my computer—though in a way, being disconnected from the world wasn’t so bad!). - Some water leakage in the bathroom (it leaked slightly). Here’s how our schedule went: Afternoon: Played with our dog. Evening: Watched the sunset at Jogashima Coast. Night: BBQ, jacuzzi, and sauna time. Morning: Went down and had breakfast on the private beach. the HOUSE team! You should promote having breakfast on your private beach more—it’s such an extraordinary experience! It left me speechless! Everyone—if you come here, you’re guaranteed an amazing holiday!

    This is my second stay.

    We were very satisfied with the spacious and open Room. Although the weather wasn't favorable, my daughters enjoyed playing Nintendo Switch on the big screen. Our two dogs also had fun exploring the Room. We look forward to staying again!

    A perfect place to visit anytime.

    We have been using this accommodation for family trips for several years. After my father passed away, I was able to visit this memorable place with friends for the first time in about two years. The facility has been upgraded since our last stay, making it very comfortable. There is now a private sauna, and the projector has been updated as well. The staff's hospitality remains as kind and heartfelt as ever, allowing us to enjoy a very satisfying 2-night, 3-day stay with our beloved 18-year-old dog. We are truly grateful. The scenery is beautiful, and overall, this place offers value beyond its price. In November, we will also be staying at your Hayama location. It will be our first time there, so we are really looking forward to it!

    Champagne appreciation! This is the second time this month!

    The staff are always so considerate, and I truly appreciate it! The champagne provided for my birthday was also delicious! This is an amazing accommodation with spacious rooms and great views! (The jacuzzi was relaxing and very soothing.) Personally, among "The House" accommodations, this place is equally as relaxing as Moriso! I will visit again! Thank you!

    The pool with an ocean view is amazing!

    Spacious beyond words! 200 square meters was absolutely incredible! We had so much fun cooking together with friends. The BBQ ingredients were delicious, and we didn’t even get to the extra food we brought along. We also bought Marlowe pudding nearby and enjoyed it while gazing at the sea—pure bliss! (Haha) We've already decided to visit again at the end of the month! Can't wait!! (The facility is rated 4 stars because the cave was unavailable during our stay.)

    The view is spectacular.

    In August, we stayed in the Shower Living Suite with family and friends for my husband's birthday. The room was clean, simple, and tastefully furnished, including the furniture and tableware. Above all, the ocean view was spectacular. We fully enjoyed the sauna and bath on the rooftop. The BBQ was also very delicious. We would love to stay in another room next time!

    Revisit

    The unforgettable experience from our stay in January brought us back to the Pool and Cave Suite for another 2-night stay. The 200-square-meter space is truly exceptional, allowing each family member to enjoy their time as they wish. This time, not only did we enjoy the pool and jacuzzi as we had hoped, but we also indulged in the newly added sauna. Although I had been interested in saunas at other accommodations before, I never had the chance to use them due to lack of time. Here, with a completely private space, I was able to fully enjoy it at my own pace. Stepping out of the sauna and diving into the pool while taking in breathtaking views is an addictive experience! For our next vacation, we're torn between returning to Koajiro or trying another THE HOUSE property.

    Feel like you have the ocean all to yourself.

    I love THE HOUSE series and have stayed at various locations. The staff provides detailed explanations about the Facility, so I felt reassured. Additionally, there is a private-like beach right below, making it a perfect vacation. For a fulfilling experience, we recommend a Multiple Night Stay of 2 nights or more.

    We rented the entire property for three families this time. This Room featured a fully glass-walled bedroom and a jacuzzi, making it an incredibly luxurious space. There was a tree right in front of the jacuzzi, which looked like a cherry blossom tree. When we asked the staff during checkout if it blooms, they mentioned that when it's in full bloom, you can see cherry blossoms in front of the sea—how beautiful that must be! I thought this would be perfect for just my spouse and me next time! We'll come again!

    We stayed as a group of three families, renting the entire property. This Room is located on a floor above the pool Room, offering an even better view. Although we didn’t spend much time here during the day, the night view was beautiful with scattered lights visible across the sea. We also enjoyed a foot bath during sunset at the newly renovated rooftop. It was amazing! Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use the sauna this time, but we definitely want to try it on our next visit.

    We reserved the entire property for three families this time. At night, we each went to our own rooms to sleep, but spent the rest of the time together in this room with a pool. The weather was unusually sunny, and the view from the room was stunning. We had an amazing time. The building is made of concrete and looks very stylish, but with white floors and antique furniture giving it a soft impression, it felt like a resort with great taste—everyone commented on how well-designed it was. The pre-arrival communication via email was very thorough and helpful, making shopping and preparations smooth—thank you so much! Even with a large group, everyone could enjoy privacy at night when sleeping, so I highly recommend this place. Everyone loved it so much that we’re already talking about staying at Moriso next time! We’ll definitely make another reservation soon!

    A beautiful location, even on rainy days.

    I invited my parents to stay at the accommodation, and although we were feeling down because of the rain, we ended up enjoying ourselves so much that we forgot all about it. The rooftop sauna was incredibly relaxing, and watching the ocean gave us a sense of time flowing slowly. It allowed us to forget our busy daily lives. Even with clouds and rain, the ocean view was breathtaking. The scenery transformed beautifully after dark, making it even more amazing. The amenities were fully equipped, so there was no inconvenience at all. We created wonderful memories with my parents. Thank you very much!

    Second Stay at THE HOUSE - Koajiro Edition

    Stayed in Koajiro, within walking distance to Arai Beach for the Dosun Festival's horseback archery event. Chose a room with a stylish living area with flowing water, a bedroom, and a small kitchen. Though I expected it to be smaller compared to renting an entire house in Hayama, the living space had plenty of room at the back as well. It was spacious enough for two people and two dogs to enjoy comfortably and luxuriously. Our beloved dogs had fun playing with their favorite remote-control toys and seemed very satisfied. Since we brought our dogs along, we opted for dinner in the room—teppanyaki paired with deli items from nearby supermarkets we discovered during shopping trips. We even found two favorite supermarkets! The owner kindly showed us the largest room available during our stay. For three people plus two dogs, that spacious room would be perfect next time! Looking forward to visiting again soon!

    I am moving to the U...

    I am moving to the United States next month, and as a farewell, I stayed here for a memorable experience. I started working during the COVID-19 period and had been working at this Vacation Rental ever since. However, with my move to the U.S. decided, I left my job about a year ago to prepare for it. The view is truly amazing, and all the staff are incredibly kind. They clean and provide service with heartfelt care so that guests can enjoy their stay. Even without bias, there aren’t many Vacation Rentals with such breathtaking views and wonderful staff. I highly recommend it. Additionally, many of the guests are refined and kind people; there are also many repeat visitors. It was truly a happy time for me. Thank you very much. For this special occasion, I chose an upper-floor room called "Shower Living Suite." The view from higher floors is highly recommended! While I wasn’t aware of it before because I worked during nighttime hours, the night view over the ocean was stunning! It’s not as glamorous as Kobe or Yokohama but has its charm with lights along the coastline reflecting beautifully on the sea at night. Having been involved since shortly after this Vacation Rental opened, even in just one year after leaving my job here, I noticed how much has changed—responding to guest requests promptly or upgrading amenities like cuter toiletries or better hairdryers—and now they even have projectors paired permanently with iPads! And most notably—the rooftop lounge! It’s been renovated with new features like saunas and scenic-view baths which surprised me greatly! Since I'm not much into saunas myself though upon advice from friendly staff members instead filled both scenic-view baths halfway full enjoying them leisurely soaking feet while admiring spectacular surroundings including lush greenery stretching out towards Enoshima Island visible across expansive waters below! My husband too appreciated these quintessentially Japanese landscapes around Miura Peninsula before we leave overseas soon together cherishing every moment spent amidst serene beauty surrounding us here today! All-in-all glad having chosen spending final days reliving fond memories reconnecting w/ familiar faces places alike once again ahead embarking onto exciting new chapter life abroad soon thereafter hopefully someday returning back Japan staying somewhere under THE HOUSE brand umbrella wherever possible meantime wishing continued success everyone involved making stays unforgettable always!!

    I invited my friends to stay together! I wanted to show them the ocean view, Mount Fuji, and the sunset, but unfortunately, it was cloudy. Even so, we could still enjoy the ocean view from the large windows in the Room and even from the jacuzzi. And despite being a weekday, we saw a cruiser passing by... they were amazed and said "Wow!" As someone who invited them, I was happy they enjoyed it. It was my first time staying at a Vacation Rental, so I was a bit nervous. However, during check-in, the staff kindly explained everything in detail. In reality, it felt just like staying at a Hotel with no issues at all. We were also given a special tour of their newly opened rooftop area. I thought it would be absolutely stunning on a sunny day! Although we didn’t use it this time, we talked about wanting to have BBQs on the rooftop and soak our feet in the bathtub next time. My friends also said they’d love to come back again. Since it's such a quiet place, I think I'd like to visit in autumn instead of summer next time. Thank you for taking care of us during our stay!

    I used this accommodation for a birthday trip with a loved one. I was aware that BBQ might be provided in the room depending on the weather, and I adjusted my schedule to enjoy dinner at 4 PM with my dog in the room. However, the ingredients were delayed by two hours, and at 4 PM, nothing was prepared. It turned out that the facility had forgotten about dinner preparation altogether. When I first inquired, they admitted their mistake but suggested going out for dinner instead, offering to cover transportation costs via taxi. Considering we had informed them beforehand about staying with our dog and knowing there are limited restaurants where dogs are allowed, this suggestion was unrealistic. We specifically chose this accommodation because it allowed us to stay with our dog. The experience of enjoying dinner from 4 PM itself held significant value and justified paying over 20,000 yen more than a no-meal plan. Losing both that time and experience while being offered an impractical solution like dining out was extremely disappointing. Eventually, when the ingredients were finally provided later on, they brought ice cream as an apology gesture. When I expressed dissatisfaction with just ice cream as compensation, they then proposed waiving the pet fee and offering late check-out as alternatives. However, since this issue had nothing to do with pet fees specifically—and after pointing that out—they responded by saying they'd keep charging for pets but refund only for dinner costs instead. It felt like no genuine effort or sincerity came through unless dissatisfaction was explicitly voiced multiple times; even their statement "then we'll still charge you for pets" left me feeling distrustful rather than reassured—more focused seemingly upon financial calculations than heartfelt apologies overall. This trip marked celebrating someone’s special birthday occasion planned carefully ahead-of-time wherein shared moments during meals together formed integral parts centralizing its purpose entirely     Great satisfaction

    We stayed with a family of four and one dog. While searching for a property near Kanto where we could stay with our dog and relax, we were drawn to the photos and made a reservation for the Pool and Cave suite. Often, photos are well-taken (enhanced), leading to some disappointment on-site, so we didn't expect much, but upon entering the room, the whole family was impressed. The view is amazing! Above all, the room is spacious! There are no partitions at all; it was an extraordinary luxurious space that was wonderful. (Since there are no partitions in the bed space either, it might be a bit awkward if you go with friends unless you're very close.) We couldn't use the pool or jacuzzi due to the season, so we'd like to visit again in warmer weather. Also, the spiral staircase leading down to the beach is quite high for those afraid of heights (and honestly speaking, even though it's not that clean). For meals, we chose shabu-shabu and enjoyed plenty of delicious vegetables! The tuna sashimi sold at a nearby fish shop was also delicious! (As expected from Misaki Port) The French toast for breakfast was also tasty (it would have been nice if there were multiple frying pans). We wanted to enjoy more but only stayed one night; therefore we're eager to revisit soon. The staff who assisted us during check-in and check-out were all very kind and wonderful. Incidentally on our way back home when stopping by The Farm for lunch one of staff members who helped us on first day recognized us offering complimentary drink as service exclusive guests staying at The House which made us happy.

    It was very comfortable.

    We stayed as a couple with our 16-year-old black Shiba Inu. The view of the sea from the Room and bathroom was picture-perfect and absolutely stunning. The meal we had in the Room was also very satisfying, allowing us to enjoy a luxurious time.

    It has become an annual autumn event.

    This was my third stay, having used the property repeatedly. I was considering a stay in early autumn this year, but due to scheduling conflicts, I stayed for one night in late November, a bit later than usual. The room was a Shower Living suite. ~Interior~ The room was impeccably clean, and the impression of the room has not changed since my first visit. This year, as winter was approaching, I was welcomed with Christmas songs projected by the in-room projector. I heard that a tree is decorated in December, so I am considering a stay during the Christmas season next time. ~Scenery and Atmosphere~ The wonderful view remained unchanged, and I enjoyed a leisurely time watching the sea from check-in in the early afternoon until sunset. After sunset, I enjoyed dinner while listening to the sound of the waves and watching the lights towards Enoshima over Sagami Bay. I spent my time almost the same way as last year and the year before, and this way of spending time feels the most luxurious. ~Amenities~ The amenities were more enhanced than last year. I was pleased to find that the hairdryer had been changed to a high-volume one from a certain manufacturer. ~Restroom and Bathroom~ A heater was installed after reading my review from the previous stay. Thanks to this, I was able to stay comfortable without getting cold after a bath. I appreciate the sincere response to even minor complaints in reviews. ~Staff~ The staff maintained a comfortable distance, making the stay pleasant. I was happy that they remembered my stay from last year. ~Overall~ This property has become a favorite, and staying here has become an annual tradition. I will definitely stay again!

    Nearby Overseas Resort

    It was so pleasant~. A relaxing space where you can only see the sparkling sea. When you open the living room window, you can hear the wind, the birds, and the sound of the waves, and I relaxed on a wonderful sofa in a place where you can gaze at the sea without doing anything. It might be the first time I've experienced such a resort feeling so close by. The meal was also very satisfying as we went to a sushi restaurant at Misaki Port. Anyway, the atmosphere of the Room, the view, it was wonderful.

    Experiences You Can't Have Elsewhere

    It was my first time visiting the area, but I was surprised by how close it is to Tokyo and how beautiful the sea is. The Room was also very nice, with furniture that you wouldn't find in a regular Hotel, making it feel like being overseas. The sea view right in front of us was breathtaking, even though the weather wasn't great. Waking up to such a view was incredibly refreshing. The large screen on the wall was impressive, and the sound system was amazing. Watching movies while lounging on the sofa was such a blissful time. It was my first time in the Miura area, but the email sent beforehand included recommendations for restaurants and shopping, which was very helpful. I would like to stay in a different Room next time. Each Room has a different design, which is interesting. I'm planning to invite friends in the summer and aim for a Room with a pool!

    Full of extraordinary feeling

    I believe we were quite a troublesome guest, as the number of people was unclear until the end and we didn't match the number of dinners and breakfasts, but we were treated very politely. However, considering the price, I think a check-in time of 2 PM and a check-out time of 10 AM is too short. We also couldn't use the parking lot before check-in. If that could be improved, I think we would be satisfied with the price, even though it's expensive.
