  A Heartwarming Moment: Casa Miyama

  We had a wonderful stay at Casa Miyama with our family of four! The meals were delicious, and the open-air bath was comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were very kind, and we were able to enjoy a comfortable stay. The space was lovely, and we especially loved the charming kitchen. Thank you very much!

  It was very beautiful.

  I didn't like waiting for 30 minutes after arriving exactly on time, and the bird skin having a lot of feathers, but I thought that might be part of the natural experience. Other than that, everything was clean, and I was particularly impressed by the yuzu bath, the kotatsu, and the thatched roof. I was able to relax in a Room with nostalgic tatami mats. I thought the garden was also very well maintained. The stars and the air were clean, making it a great break. Next time I go, I plan to stock up on supplies as there are no convenience stores nearby.

  Thank you very much for staying with us. We apologize for the chicken skin in your meal having feathers attached. We source our chicken from a famous free-range farm in local Miyama, but there are some areas that are difficult to clean completely, and small feather-like pieces may remain on the skin. We try to check as much as possible, but it seems we overlooked it this time. We apologize for this oversight. As you mentioned, this is a natural occurrence and is common with fresh chicken from the countryside, and we appreciate your understanding. However, as it is not visually appealing, we will be more careful in the future. Thank you for your valuable feedback. Also, regarding the 30-minute wait after your arrival, our check-in time is at 3 PM. You arrived around 2 PM, and we hurried to prepare and guided you into the property before the check-in time of 3 PM, so we hope for your understanding. Overall, we are glad to hear that you had a comfortable stay. Although it was a cold time of the New Year, we are prepared for you to enjoy the different seasons, and we would be delighted if you could visit us again in another season. We hope you can also enjoy playing with the goats next time. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

  A wonderful stay that heals both body and mind in a harmonious natural environment.

  - Beautiful Mountain Scenery The mountain scenery enveloped in morning mist was particularly magical, offering an ethereal atmosphere as if we were inside a painting. - Warmth of the Fireplace Spending time watching the fireplace was a luxury that warmed our hearts. Thanks to the fireplace, fan heater, and air conditioning, we didn't feel the cold at all and were very comfortable. The humidifier was also very helpful. - Spacious Area Perfect for Children The spacious area allowed the children to run around freely and enjoy themselves. - Nostalgic New Year's Eve Spending New Year's Eve under the kotatsu brought a sense of nostalgia and was very comforting. - Comfort of the Water Facilities and the Charm of the Bath The water facilities were perfect, and the scent from the Aomori Hiba bath was wonderful, providing the best relaxation time. The fan heater in the changing room was also very helpful. - Attic and Book Time The selection of photos and books displayed in the attic was excellent, and before I knew it, I was engrossed in the books. Without a TV, I distanced myself from my smartphone and enjoyed reading paper books for the first time in a while. - Charm of the Spanish-Style Kitchen The charming Spanish-style kitchen was delightful, and washing dishes with a scrubber made from repurposed fishing nets was a fun experience. The hot water flowed well, making everyday chores feel special. - Experience of Feeling the Blessings of the Mountains On New Year's morning, washing my face with water springing from the mountains at the entrance of the old house was refreshing and made me feel one with nature. - Impressive Spanish Breakfast The Spanish breakfast we had was delicious, with an authentic taste as if we were eating abroad. My 3-year-old son especially loved the Spanish omelet and homemade strawberry jam yogurt, eating them with great enthusiasm. - Kind Hosts We are deeply grateful for the kindness and thoughtfulness of our hosts. They carefully explained the road conditions, how to use the house, and how to handle the fireplace, allowing us to stay with peace of mind. Thanks to them, we had a comfortable stay throughout and created wonderful New Year's memories. It was a wonderful stay that healed both body and mind in a harmonious natural environment. We would love to visit again.

  Thank you very much for staying with us! Since your stay was on New Year's Eve, we took great care to ensure everything was perfect for the end of the year and New Year's Day. Although there may have been some shortcomings, we are relieved to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. We noticed that your child, who was initially in an unfamiliar place, had a softer expression by the time of checkout, and we imagined they enjoyed their stay. It might have been a coincidence, but even the baby's face seemed to be relaxed. We are delighted that you were able to experience our property's concept of disconnecting from smartphones and televisions, and connecting with nature, allowing you to feel things that are not part of everyday life. I had almost forgotten, but washing your face with mountain spring water is truly a wonderful experience. During the renovation of this property's old house, there was no water, so I used to wash my face and brush my teeth with this mountain spring water in the morning.
