    Wonderful accommodation!

    The staff, Facility, and meals were all beyond expectations and absolutely wonderful. There was a wide variety of welcome drinks, along with a coffee maker and tea provided. We also enjoyed welcome sweets, including daifuku. For breakfast, we had Japanese cuisine, which was surprisingly delicious. Every side dish was so tasty that we wished for more rice! It was such a delightful experience. We would love to stay here again!

    A Journey Unlike Any Other

    Unlike ordinary hotels or ryokans, there were some slightly inconvenient points, but it became a great memory. As many have mentioned, the bath is extremely small, but maybe that's eco-friendly? Haha. The Hida beef for dinner was exquisite, though I wished for more rice refills—I ended up with a growling stomach at midnight! Haha. Breakfast is light as well, so if you eat a lot, it might be good to prepare snacks or late-night food in advance. The pillows are very soft, so if you're particular about your pillow when sleeping, bringing your own might be a good idea. Most dog supplies are provided; however, there were no waste bags (perhaps they forgot to restock). We brought two dogs along but found only one food bowl—this seems common in such accommodations. During meals, we had to empty the water and use the bowl for food instead... The provided crate was spacious and had a roofed design that gave peace of mind even for our jumping dog. The surrounding area is perfect for walking with dogs and feels refreshing. It was also nice that it wasn’t as crowded with foreign tourists as Hida Takayama tends to be.

    Would love to visit again!

    A city and accommodation I want to visit again! The meals are delicious, and the room is clean and stylish. Dog-friendly and very comfortable to stay. The bath was too small, but the overall satisfaction makes up for it. One point to note: even with curtains closed, the interior is visible from outside at night. Please be cautious when changing clothes.

    We received a warm and attentive service.

    It was completely our oversight, but we realized the day before that we had made a reservation at a property of IORI STAY HIDA where pets are not allowed. Despite this, you kindly assisted us and changed the reservation to a pet-friendly property, for which we are very grateful. On the day of our arrival, when we arrived, a staff member was waiting for us, diligently shoveling snow in front of the property. Since we visited after enjoying the Shirakawa-go light-up, the road conditions were poor due to freezing, and we arrived quite late, but we were very happy to be welcomed. Not only did you provide information about the property, but you also explained the surrounding area in great detail, allowing us to enjoy a Hida dinner despite the late hour.
